Coffee is 👌🙌✨ The smell beautifully roasted coffee welcomes you. The baristas arent the most friendly, but I dont care if they produce coffee this excellent. One of the few places in SLC that do a true flat white, makes my Aussie heart happy! Intimate space that probably seats around 20 people.

Small sample size, but Blue Copper has been my favorite coffee shop in SLC and Utah overall. I got my regular order: a cappuccino -- the espresso was a lighter roast and the milk was thick and creamy. They know how to make a proper espresso drink for lovers of good coffee. They also sell bags of their own beans, which seem to be roasted regularly (we got some beans roasted 3 days ago). They have several outdoor tables and nearby parking, which make it very easy to stop by. Recommended!!

Its a truly cool little coffeeshop with an amazing ambiance! I just attempted their best seller coffee, and I really really love it. Its kinda extravagant so it was unique in relation to what I was utilized to. Yet, it was acceptable. I do wish there were more outlets however its not so much their deficiency. The structure is quite little. Additionally the stopping here is huge for such a little spot. So finding a spot was no issue by any stretch of the imagination:)

Possibly the best coffee in SLC (the competition is admittedly very tough). Its definitely my personal favorite.The atmosphere is also very friendly and peaceful, and the staff is very nice.

Ive walked past this place several times but never stopped until last week. I had a flat white with oat milk and it was the best I have ever had, hands down. I havent been able to stop thinking (or talking) about it and finally had a chance to stop by again today. Still just as good as the first time!

My favorite coffee shop in the valley - I usually get their black coffee and my wife loves their iced Americano. They have a great selection of in-house roasts for both drip brew and espresso.

I was a little disappointed in this place compared to 5 years ago, but I’m changing the review based on the reply. I didn’t find roast dates on the bag, but apparently they’re there. No pour over option and the drip coffee was over extracted and bitter. I have fond memories of this place and will be back in a few years (hopefully sooner) to try again. Great coffee nearby is Publik and La Barba.

Such a great Third Wave style coffee shop in Salt Lake City. Super sweet vibe with a great piano art piece. Knowledgeable and friendly Baristas. Americano and Latte on point... and the Cookies were off the chain! So good! If you’re looking for a cozy laid back environment this is a great place that also has some nice outdoors hangs.

I got an iced coffee and my friend had a regular black coffee. We both thought the coffee tasted horrible. It’s a good thing they have the inside closed for sitting, because the music they had playing would’ve driven us out anyway. We won’t be back.

I got the iced coffee and it tasted like chemicals. I was not a fan of this coffee shop. I was very excited to come here after seeing the other reviews and the many people outside. I will not be coming back.

This place has the hipster atmosphere down but the coffee isn’t anything much better than what you can grab from Starbucks. I tried the small americano so I could experience their roast. Unfortunately, I was left wanting because there wasn’t much flavor. I it tasted as though the beans may not have been fresh or freshly ground so that they sat and lost whatever special flavors they may have previously possessed.

Good place for early birds to grab some fresh coffee. You can also take fresh roasted beans. In love with their wifi password. Is “dinosaur” but don’t say anyone

People that are really passionate about coffee and that really know the craft. Its is the best coffee spot in Utah and measures up to any place in Portland or Washington. I can always just get a simple pour over and sit outside taking in the modern industrial aesthetic.

Great coffee and espresso drinks made from roasting their own seeds. Knowledgeable yet approachable feel from the baristas. From locals we have heard this is best in SL. Had the Ethiopian Yirg which was tasty and the wife has a mocha which rivaled any shes had before. Our experience was great while we waited on our flight as it was delayed😉

Delicious coffee and other drinks. The place is a little small so maybe not good for groups of more than 2 or 3 but there is seating outside that works better for larger groups.

My favorite neighborhood coffee shop in Salt Lake City. A cosy, comfortable modern space. The patio is excellent when the weather permits. Seating inside is very limited. Easy for a grab-and-go cup of coffee. Pretty good spread of baked goods available.Knowledgeable baristas and a wide selection of expertly roasted coffee. Generally two different espressos available daily. Make this a regular coffee stop, you won’t be sorry!

Blue Copper has excellent espresso, no need to add any sugar etc. to their perfectly crafted coffee. Staff is not the friendliest, however they do provide consistent flavor. Seating is limited and often crowded.

Great food ... but no parking

Nestled away in the corner of a neighborhood across the street from a large park, this cute little restaurant serves up some mean food. The waiter said their Michigan hash was their best breakfast dish on the menu. I went with that instead of their pancake sandwich even though I mainly went here to try it. Adding a slice of French toast was a great decision as it was incredible! The right mix of soft bread, flavor from the batter, sugar and whatever special butter served with it paired with it so well.Honestly can you ever go wrong with a breakfast hash?? My theory was not wrong today as their hash was great. The park potatoes are almost a blend of home fries and hash brown, fresh veggies, sausage and eggs your style. Going over medium is my preparation of choice so it soaks into the potatoes, YUM!

First of all, Blue Copper has some of the best coffee we’ve tried! We actually discovered it dining at Tradition near Liberty Park and LOVED their coffee. We were told Blue Copper supplies them. But while their coffee is very good, our experience with both times we’ve gone into the shop on 900 S have been cold, unfriendly, and very pretentious.With us being new to their product, we had questions. Each time we’ve been in and asked about different things we were treated rudely and as if we were dumb for not knowing. And aside from us having such a negative experience, they totally missed chances to educate a potential repeat customer with their products.Like most people, just a good product will only go so far with me. Such a large part of it is the interaction and the way one feels. As good as their coffee is, we won’t be back.

It’s a really cool little coffee shop with an awesome atmosphere! I only tried the hot chocolate, and I liked it. It’s kinda fancy so it was different than what I was used to. But it was good. I do wish there were more outlets but it’s not really their fault. The building small. Also the parking here is really big for such a small place. So finding a spot was no problem at all:)

I really enjoy Blue Copper Coffee!! I live walking distance from Blue Copper which means I spend way too much money at the establishment, but their coffee is delicious and I love how chill it feels inside. Their outside seating is really convenient as well. I’ve always been warmly welcomed when coming in for coffee. I definitely recommend this place.

The first thing that you notice entering Blue Copper is the sweet aroma of fresh ground beans. Believe it or not, there are several coffee places where this isnt the case! The barrista was friendly, and the drinks were good. I had a cold brew which was smooth and slightly sweet (from the beans, not sugar). My wife had a latte, which they made the little design in even though we had it to-go, and it got a lid put on immediately.

Superb cappucino! Not too much froth. The coffee was FRESH. I am new to the world of coffee drinking and this is my favorite place in Utah.

This is my favorite coffee shop and Im not totally sure why? There are a lot of reasons to love it. They have oat milk, which is great because Im vegan and allergic to tree nuts and soy (and dont particularly like coconut milk lattes). I love sitting on the couches and comfy chairs in the back, but the bars and tables are great for working (and Ive never felt pressured to leave when Im there with my laptop). They also have outdoor seating! I love outdoor seating so much. Its always crowded on weekends but I can usually find a place to sit on weekdays. The downside is that theyre a little pricey (similar to Publik).Overall I love going to Blue Copper and find it to be a great place to work.

Tasty cappuccino and Coconut coffee cake.

Struck by the smell of fresh coffee as soon as we walked in. In a strange part of the city but definitely was worth the trip. Coffee was delicious and the overall vibe reminded me a lot of the coffee shops in Oz.

Okay, they had a great cereal. However, I was called out by the barista for bringing in coffee from another shop while I was in the process of buying something in order to not just mooch off their space without making a purchase. She was incredibly smug and seemed to not care at all that I was trying to make things right. My wife and I were trying out the shop because the previous coffee shop we were at was closing shortly and we wanted to try out a new potential work space. We won’t be returning, which is fine because the barista didn’t seem terribly happy that we were there anyway.

This place does really light roasted coffee. My drip coffee tasted more like tea than coffee, and my espresso tasted sour. I did taste a friends latte which was delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff were nice. I think if you want a nice spot to work or a sweet drink youll like this place. If you are into tasting black coffee/espresso you may be disappointed. This place was also expensive, with $3 for a single shot of espresso, and $3 for a 12oz drip coffee.

Exactly the kind of coffee bar I was hoping to find when visiting for some snow time. It can get a little crowded since the space is small, but they are pretty quick all things considered. I got some beans from this roaster and they stacked up nicely to some of the other excellent roasters across the country. However, the thing I found particularly excellent was their Quantum espresso; this is one of the best espresso blends Ive had. I had them make a mocha with it and it was so good I had to get another before I skipped town. There are some decent coffee spots in SLC but this is probably my favorite.

I had a nice mocha on a slightly chilly Friday afternoon here. The employees were very attentive and courteous. Based on the people I saw coming in, I think this place is a great place to study or meet people...maybe strike an interesting conversation with a stranger.

Well-crafted third wave coffee, a friendly, competent staff, and a great patio. I come here to study when I need a change of scenery and there are always interesting conversation on which to eavesdrop when I need a mental break from writing and thinking. It’s quiet enough to let me focus when I need to, but lively enough to keep things interesting. The house-made shrubs in the summer and the house-made chai in the winter are just two irresistible items on their compact but well-executed drink menu.

Down to earth people. Great coffee. Very Simple to pick they have tea to pick from also and pastries. If your looking for Starbucks this not your place it is your place if you want Excellent service and coffee!!!

One of the best Mochas I have had. I usually will buy a bag of their in house beans and the roast is the best ever...perfect. Also, I have bought special fresh roast beans to brew at home from all over the United States. They have the best roast for bags to go that I have ever tasted, and they are usually roasted within just a day or two. They have been a staple of our weekend at home brew for a couple of years now.

The space, though small, is cute and most of the staff are friendly. The americano seems sour and overly bitter. I cant get a feel for their roasts. The management has said it may just be my palate. Perhaps. Though others I have taken there have noted the bitterness as well. It could be the water is too hot or the equipment has had residue from previous brews. This is unfortunate for me because it is a nice space. I recommend trying Blue Copper, you may find it suits your palate better than it did mine.

Super cute coffee shop with several different roasts. Their coffee is delicious and I love their house blend - light with the perfect amount of flavor. The coffee shop has a great atmosphere and Id love to hang out here regularly if I lived in salt lake (we were visiting from Seattle). Would definitely visit again.

The variety of coffee isnt large. Which is great cause it seems like they focus on the small variety and choose the best. They also have other drinks which are tasty as well. They have handcrafted syrups they make themselves that they put in their lattes.

Without a doubt, one of the premier third wave coffee roasters in SLC. Blue Copper has a mix of single origins and blends. While blends sometimes get a bad reputation, Blue Coppers house blend is pretty amazing and is some of the best cold brew I have ever had.

Delicious coffee and a GREAT local feel. The store is small. But I kind of like that. Really sends off the message that its a hang out spot for Sunday mornings. Cant wait for their Marmalade location!

I visited Blue Copper Coffee after lunch at Laziz Kitchen. This is a great little shop with quick and friendly customer service. I had to take my cappuccino to go, but I was impressed with how quickly it was served and the high quality of the coffee. I will absolutely be back, hopefully I have enough time to stay a while. The cappuccino was one of the best Ive ever had and the ginger cookie was other-wordly delicious.

I got a breve latte here and it was so good. The café is smaller in size but they have a large outdoor patio. I really enjoyed the barista and our interaction. There was a lot of sitting area available and I would come back more often if I lived in the area.

Lines are very long but they love quick. Prices arent bad, either. The cappuccino and hot chocolate are just gets. Service is friendly and store is clean.
