If you want to take a trip without leaving, head here. The selection of EVERYTHING from all over the globe is quite nice. I love how everything flows in spite of it being eclectic. The crystals are lovely and well-priced, the silver jewelry is what always gets me in the pocket. I found some nice fabric, another ring, incense holder and some other amazing trinkets. This incense is going to be incredible and enhance my calm. I am thankful to have been shown this place. Noelle and the rest of the staff are always super friendly and helpful. I got a money tree and the lady that helped me gave me the rundown on how to care for it. Everything she said checks in Google. I love this place!!!

With the new management and post pandemic things got a little different at this place but I still like this place . The Cafe still doesnt offer dine in only takeout and that make me miss sitting by the window watching the outside while enjoy sipping from my cup of whatever drink I get, no more monthly fairs that used to happen the last Saturday of every month. No more yoga classes but I hope all of that will comeback gradually. The staff still friendly, the same high quality products with few new additions from time to time. The spiritual services still provided by appointment like good ol days. Im glad they still in business and didnt turned it into carpet store as I was told before.

Wonderful - magical - shop that always surprises me and impresses me.Dont go with a set item in mind unless youre sure they carry them. But def browse what they do sell.Staff is very friendly and helpful. My son and I were looking for a present for his mom. When checking out; He simply mentioned the owl figurine was a gift for her. The staff immediately went into gift wrap mode and made the gift a lot nicer. No extra charge. No hassle.

If youre going to get crystals this is not the place to go they do not have a good selection and they are extremely over priced go to Turiyas instead its way more worth it! The staff here has gotten very rude and unkind plus the prices are outrageous compared to the quality of the products they sell. It is a total ripoff going here since theres way better local spiritual shops around that arent just out to get your money.

I love love this store. All of your senses will be impacted in a positive way here. The store is filled work colors that are vibrant, the huge variety incense catch your nose, the sounds of people, singing bowls, and instruments are wonderful. I come here as often as I can. Their stone collection is vast. Their jewelry selection is awesome. The staff are all inviting, attentive, and knowledgeable. The cafe is pretty comfortable and charming. The art gallery is pretty cool. I love that they support local artists. 5 stars! Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, and the store was well organized. Loved the layout and feel of the store. Good for Crystal mommies, and even the average walk in looking for a bamboo plant of some nice incense. Would love to go back.

The store itself is beautiful including the pond! But, super pricey & lack customer service.I did not feel welcomed… asked to check out a ring & the lady w the short ginger looking hair rolled her eyes and tried seeing who else was available to help me. As I was looking at the rings for my size I tried making conversation and she looked at me like she was annoyed. After a while I felt pretty uncomfortable & it made me pretty upset seeing everyone else get helped in a friendly manner but I was helped differently… not surprised for being the only person of color there at the time! Might be going back to look at the pond once more, but probably not to make my purchases.

In San Francisco there is this beautiful store on Haight Street called, The Love of Ganesha. There, you will be greeted by the wonderful owners, who travel the world and hand pick themselves, everything they sell. They pray over their merchandise before selling it. The prices are extremely affordable and quite often shockingly cheap. The owners sometimes will even give you free little crystals with your purchase with a loving smile on their faces. You can ask them any question and they will open up about their process and knowledge of what they sell. What makes that place so wonderful, is you can tell the owners and employees love what they do. It is their life, their literal religion. They practice what they preach. They charge so little because they want to share their love to the world, truly. Money to them is not what matters most. The New Age scene preaches they are what the owners of Ganesha TRULY are.Take everything I just said about Ganesha... The Dancing Crane is the complete opposite. They are rude, over priced, stuck up, judgmental, bad energy, FAKE energy. All they care about is money, which is the opposite of what the things they are selling stands for. Every time I go I think about that little store on Haight street and I feel equal parts anger and disappointment. I truly think it has a high rating because the New Age scene here does not understand what they are doing and missing out on.

They dont tell you the return policy on items and instead try to force you to do in store credit I had to look up there return policy just to find out I could have returned my item without store credit I am very disappointed with this store it feels like they just want your money.

One of the most unique stores in the world! They have such an amazing variety of Eastern, mystical, and exotic items. They have clothing, music, art, delicious food and drinks, a large healthy fish pond, and even a very large meditation room! The staff is friendly, plenty of street parking. If I lived near there, Id visit it regularly!

Amazing environment, very calm and friendly. Huge selection of stones, Incense, and so much more! Everything is set at a very reasonable price. On top of all that, the food and smoothies they have are a healthy (vegan and gluten free options) and absolutely delicious and just like the rest of the store the food/drinks are very reasonably priced. All in all a great place to stop in to browse and get some good food.

I have mixed feelings about this store. Theres a lot to love and its a fun spot to explore for unique gifts. My mixed emotions come from the price ranges for their crystals and the lack of welcoming customer service specifically. Most items in the store are hand crafted, organic, locally sourced etc which I happily pay extra to support. However, I was disappointed by the crystal selection and size for the prices. If you want something larger than a dime youre going to pay a pretty exorbitant amount. I was able to find a decent sized amethyst and clear quartz wand for an okay amount but Ill be sticking to my online spot for crystals next time. (LovingThyselfRocks on e.tsy if youre interested). I also found myself disappointed in the customer service. There were a lot of employees (like, a lot, I was surprised) and they were all either focused on chatting with each other or on their phones. We were obviously looking for something in front of one employee who was pointedly ignoring us for her phone to the point I felt bad to ask for help and didnt. Pretty lame. The vibe was definitely unfriendly and I can imagine if you had questions this place would feel pretty intimidating. Theres cool stuff to see here but I think Ill skip it for other options next time.

Review from November 2020: I am beyond pleased! I was looking to place a large order of 16 items. Their website didnt have everything in stock so I called and told them what I was looking for. Within 30 minutes Zoey and Noel had found the items that hadnt been inventoried and added them to the website so I could place my order. When I picked it up I was so excited! The items were nicely wrapped with coordinating wrapping colors. My heart is full of gratitude and forever grateful!Review from May 2020: I placed an online order during the pandemic and received it within 2 days. The items I ordered are great quality. They were packaged nicely and wrapped so they couldnt be damaged. They also used recyclable materials, so no plastic other than the tape on the box. They gave me a necklace and sticker for free, and even hand wrote a thank you note on the invoice. Dancing Cranes Import is my new favorite place to order from!

This place is amazing! It is full of so many different items that you can easily lose time in here or get lost all together. They carry everything from stones, to clothing, to candles, to books, to instruments, even to plants and flowers. If you are in the market and looking for something you will probably find it here. Even if you are not looking you will probably still find something here.

Honestly, I used to LOVE Dancing Crane. But after ha being gone in for the first time since before last year, Im severely disappointed. They have food still, but no public restroom. The larger crystal specimens are all locked behind glass with no visible prices, and the layout feels chaotic...not at all the wonderful store I remember. Ill go to Wandering Stones insted.

An adorable little store with tons of unique clothing, jewelry, crystals, incense, statues, etc, with a fairly knowledgeable + very friendly staff. There’s a beautiful fountain right in the middle and it’s just in general, a very cool space. Some items are slightly overpriced but overall, its a solid store if youre looking for things regarding the metaphysical. It’s also right next to a super cute cafe with lots of healthy options.

They are overpriced, the service and the workers are not very kind, and also have such negitive energy. Something is not right about this place. I would recommend going to Sacred Energy instead.

The staff is super paranoid of everyone stealing. my friend away from the register, it felt the staff thought she stole something and was talking about it right in front of me. the crystals are super tumbled and small pieces for quite a bit. there was an unfriendly older lady that had gray hair that was staring me down the entire time. i was only holding one stone in my open palm and was looking at the display cases. i’ll just stick to lotus. much nicer staff and better selection of rocks that are well priced.

Mask police on duty! If you value your freedoms and wish to spend your hard earned money at a place that also values your freedoms, find another metaphysical shop. Why are they selling crystals and promoting “good vibes” and then enforce socialist policies? They literally followed me around the store. It made me feel uncomfortable and it I wouldn’t define that behavior as good customer service. I might have a medical disability and I’m not obligated to share my information. Stand up for your rights SLC! Don’t do business with these types!

By far my favorite hippie shop Ive ever been to. A friend suggested it when I was in the market for a tapestry and was able to find a great one. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff are super friendly. I decided to look around after finding a tapestry I liked and without asking they offered to fold it and keep it behind the counter til I check out. My only complaint is that If I probably spent a lot more money than I intended to because of how much cool stuff in there.

I usually love this place, but the last time I was here was not as great as it always is. I love all their items and theyre all so unique, the workers were the problem unfortunately. The girl at the register could see there was a line but after she finished with one customer, she walked away and didnt come back. Then another girl opened up another register and started ringing up this woman who wasnt waiting in line. They have amazing things here, I just wish the service had been better.

One of my favorite haunts in Salt Lake City. I sometimes will stop in here without the intention of buying anything, just for the atmosphere and how calming it is. The moment you walk in, you can see geodes, beautiful jewelry, an adorable little cafe, and a koi pond. The music they play is especially calming, as well. I usually dont buy clothing here, even though I would love to, because its so expensive. But the rest of the items are pretty affordable. Great place to go for gifts! The people who work here are wonderful, as well. Always so friendly when you check out.
