I love coming to this store! I came in on Halloween and Amanda and Kay were incredibly helpful. They didn’t end up having what I wanted but I loved the vibe and wanted to give them credit where credits due.

Great prices and very well organized. Have them open any sealed used items before you pay. I bought a movie here and it wasnt actually in the case when I got home. I will still go. Just check your purchases!

Super overpriced for a used dvd store, not cleanly at all either. And the employee Leaf makes the experience of shopping here very uncomfortable. I would never come back to this fye after he was so blatantly rude and unkind. Not a place to waste you money on truly a waste of time going here I would never return to this store and I hope it closes down due to the uncaring staff.

Love this place! Prices are a little high, but they have interesting things that you wouldnt find elsewhere.

This is our favorite place to go on the weekends we go to FYE !! Wehave the best time ever we could stay there forever just looking at everything and picking out movies for the weekend we are huge fans of FYE the staff that works there is always super helpful!!!

Dirty, disorganized, hardly anything new in stock. Snacks/imports/most of the store is overpriced! The past several times there they did not have anything I wanted. Employees are either indifferent/uncaring or rude. Two of them today told me not to come back; you didnt have to tell me twice, ladies! I dont know why I gave this filthy, messy excuse of a place chance after chance. Thats fine, FYE has gone way downhill anyway, so I wont be coming back. Not to this location. EVER. This miserable dump of a store will probably close down anyway.

Unfortunately this location is a little small and pretty limited. Call ahead if youre looking for something specific and save yourself time.Otherwise, the store is well kept and tidy.

I love FYE this place is the dopest of dope as far as variety and friendliness they have it all this place will get your music needs handled. They are conveniently located off 700 east and 2100 south I sure do love this place. Also they are handicap accessible and friendly.

They sell, like.... everything entertainment related, good and bad, some really cringy stuff like funko pops but hey that’s just my opinionpoint is they’ve got everything and it’s kind of fantastic

As a movie lover its always nice to go in and treasure hunt there is a good variety. its too bad places like this are dying out.

If I could go lower I would. Called multiple times this morning to see if they had an item in stock, no answer, drove an hour to get here and found that the item I wanted wasnt in stock. Phone rang while an associate was behind the counter and didnt pick up and just went back to what she was doing. Called while in store just to see if anyone would pick up but no one heard the phone ringing. Really dissatisfied with my visit

Great place to walk in to. Your mind instantly starts to wonder because of all the great products . Only thing Id like to see change is.. Product quality. Went into to buy some toys and the boxes are damaged sitting on the shelves, and they of course didnt have any more, so I ended up not even buying anything. :(

This comment is a bit off because on one hand I love the brick and mortar store and the employees are great. However ordering on line is a joke. I placed an order on November 10 and paid extra to get it in 3 days. I still have not seen the order and the USPS has no tracking that it even made it to their Business mailing unit in that area of origin. The customer service rep. keeps giving me the run around and refused to provide me with the tracking number for the carrier that was supposed to deliver the items to the USPS. Since it was for my wifes birthday I got tired of the excuses and ordered from Best Buy and guess what the Movie was delayed and they contacted me to let me know this. but it was only delayed by 2 days in which I have tracking it is in my city and will be delivered Tomorrow by 9 pm. The FYE customer service wouldnt even entertain the thought of sending me another copy and when the original showed up I would send it back to them. Terrible service and I DO NOT recommend ordering anything online with this company. Stop by and talk to the employees they will help you if they can though.

Went to try to get smaller sizes on a few shirts. They didnt have any but they were quick about helping as always! Epic place to go.

Amanda was the rudest employee. I returned an item that was broken. She didnt want to return it, her and the manager suggested that I go to the Provo store even though it was purchased at their store and I had to receipt.I asked for a replacement and she said that they didnt have another one even though she didnt check her inventory. I will never shop there again.

Great experience, staff were super knowledgeable. I found all sorts of nostalgic gifts for Christmas as well as myself without the online hassle. We need more shops like this!

Really cool yo see old childhood anime stuff in a store but the employees didnt really know anything. Wouldnt even discount a collectors item opened box item.

Horrible selection of vinyl records, have had the same ones for years. The only thing good about this place are the people, really nice and really helpful. The movies are overpriced, went and we could get all titles we were looking for cheaper digitally. This used to be a really nice place. Only reason they got a 3, I because the employees.

I went into the store on 2100s. & 700e. to sellan extensive CD collection of mine. It was time to part ways with it. So I carried the box with the CDs in it up to the front of the store and as I stepped one foot into the store, literally one of my own feet not even a foot by measurement they barked at me from behind the counter as they were fumbling an item not even taking the time to look over at me to see if I could even be returning an item they stated, “ We are not purchasing anything from the public not now and not even until summertime “ I felt this was rude and uncalled for. I am sure they have great customer service it’s just at this time when I visited the store I came away with a bad experience.

Got what my friend wanted but i think $22 is too much of a movie that is under 40 minutes long.

Ive been gone the last 6 months so imagine my surprise when I come to find the location I normally go to is closed. It would have been nice to have known this location was closed as well and as of 26 March. I used Google maps to find a location that was STILL open and it said that this one is. I show up and they have a sign saying, ... closed... thanks for all the fish. 😥

For a corporate media Outlet, this place is okay. They have all the cool neat weird stuff so I dont think I could find in other brick and mortar stores. Every time I go in there its hard not to spend a hundred bucks or more. Loyalty program enticing, and if I had more in my Media budget every month I would definitely sign on with that. Always a decent experience

DO NOT DO THEIR VIP MEMBERSHIP. They will not mention the recurring charges and the fact that they give your charging info to a magazine provider and they will charge you too! They say the magazine is a 60 day trial but do not mention that they charge you after the 60 days. I didnt even know that they filled in MY card information in those forms without asking me. Seriously messed up. I will never go to an FYE again

They always have something good. We are collecting movies and its a fun experience just rifling through the movies. The pop culture stuff is cool, too.Dont close this location too. FYE is one of my favorite stores. The staff are always helpful and its a great place to shop.

When did my renewal membership they didnt ask about the money come out account that didnt in first place.

Leaving 3 stars because I do enjoy going here, however, Ive tried calling 3 times and the phone just rings and rings. Would be nice if someone would answer it because its not even 830 yet and they supposedly close at 9. If this is related to the bs virus scare going around then maybe you need to adjust your hours to say as such.

Walked in to get a movie, instantly got yelled at for not having a mask on! Store was empty, such a joke. If you’re going to enforce a mask policy, then offer up a mask or just do what everyone else does. Enforce social distancing and limit the people allowed in the store. Employees were completely rude and handled this poorly. Definitely won’t be coming back here again.

I buy movies there all the time and clothes and hats earphones games etc. Definitely recommend it!

Great prices on dvds/blubrays. Wide selection as well. I have found movies here that I couldnt even find on Amazon. If you are a film buff or audio file do yourself a favor and check this out!

Was the worst customer service experience Ive ever dealt with. She was rude. Could tell she didnt like her job. Just exchanged a DVD for another one of the same movie because the last part of the movie wouldnt play and started it back to the beginning. The salesperson is Eve #178492. She could really use a attitude adjustments. No smile, no have a nice day, with how she handled the transaction it seemed like the end of the world for her. Send her to a class to learn better business skills. Enough said!!!

Things have gone drastically down hill for this company. The people are still great and friendly, but they are no longer a place to go for music lovers. They cant even order music for me anymore.

Super friendly & Helpful staff. They have such a great selection of basically everything😊 Im a frequent customer. I went in this past Friday and was helped by Connor he was great, very personable. This is my go-to spot for anything movie or music related. This is definitely the best FYE store in Utah.

This FYE store has a great selection of both new and used DVDs, at very low prices. The best part of my shopping experience at this store today was the TOP OF THE LINE customer service I received from Edward, the store manager. He is as good as it gets! Thumbs up to this store all the way!

For an old-schooler such as myself, this place is perfect! I can touch it before I buy it. Wide variety of selections, no matter what your interest or need is.

Great selection of movies to buy... I wish they would come out with a benefits program that you didnt have to pay money to keep it active... If I, as a customer, didnt want to come in to your store for months, or maybe a year or so... Any program that you are promoting, is not going to appeal to me if I have to pay any fee to keep it active, no matter how much that fee is. Sometimes I may be in several times a month... I dont want to feel that I have to come in because I am not doing anything with a fee already paid that is not being used. Maybe the benefits outweigh the cost, and the details have not been clearly explained to me. I just hate gambling on paying money for something that I may use a lot, or may never use until I have to, again, pay the same fee, to renew another year of unclear benefits that I may or may never use. The customer is always right... If you want the business to come through your doors, you will make it appealing enough that the happy customers will share your program by word of mouth... Which is free advertising.

Awesome deals on movies

Went to FYE at 3:09pm on Saturday and it was closed. A hand written sign said closed for lunch, so weird. Since when do retail businesses close for lunch.???. Super inconvenience. Very disappointed.

I LOVE this place!!! It is like disneyworld for media. Im so glad that theyve re-opened again but with different hours which are 11-7 monday-saturday and 12-6 on sundays!!! I love that customers must wear masks at the store to help slow the spread of COVID 19! I messed up the first time by not wearing a mask but I understood their reasoning and I happily returned after getting a mask without the need to cause any trouble by refusing to wear one. I am bummed that they are not buying used movies at the moment but I am glad that they are open again with safety measures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were very helpful. We were really upset about the Taylorsville store closing as we have been going there for years. The sales staff at the Sugar House store is very nice. It is just farther to drive. I hope the Sugar House store gets their machine for mixing and burning CDs fixed soon. I am anxious to get a new exercise mix made.

After the. Taylorsville FYI store closed, this store in Sugar House; think they can raise the price up in the sky! Buy on Amazon, on demand or even Wal-Mart if you have to. You will be better off and not ripped off!

I always come here great deals on movies

One of the last physical places to find music and movies and lots of memorabilia. They had two of the three albums I was looking for, plus a special live album that I didnt know about that included 3 cds, all of the bands b-sides and bonus tracks for less than $15.

Good selection of videos and music. Friendly staff not that pack you can spent hours in there, thats how much stuff they have. I am sure they have something for everyone. Go and give them a try.

Absolutely satisfying nerd/electronic/video store! They always have great sales on used DVDs and Blu-Rays. Great place for gifts for all ages. Sells collectible sets and unique items. I highly recommend this store.

They have a vast selection of things tailor to your favorite movies and shows. From headphones, Keychain, to boxer briefs. Slim pickings when it comes to vinyl. I named about 15 artists and bands and they had one in stock which they couldnt even find. Overall ok.

I highly recommend Coming here, its just like a video store but you can actually buy the videos and take them home to add to your collection

Love FYE! The staff there are always very nice and informative as well. They also buy old CDs and DVDs. Those things are worth their weight in gold at FYE, as long as its something they need. Paid my gas bill once with 12 DVDs they bought. Cool, right?!

This place is seriously the best. Super super cheap movies and a huge selection! With all of the movie stores and movie rental places like Blockbuster going out of business it is hard to find places that sell old movies these days. FYE has both old and new movies in both used and new condition. It is literally impossible for me to leave this place without buying something because they have so many cool movies. Staff is pretty laid-back and helpful. I definitely recommend checking this place out
