Reserved ski equipment for the family over Christmas break 2019. They employees were very friendly, patient and helpful with my kids. All of the equipment was brand new. The whole entire experience was fast and refreshing. We rented the year before at Canyon Base Village. It was junky 3-5 year old equipment. The experience was like getting smelly shoes at a bowling alley. I highly recommend Canyon Sports.

The owner works there with really good employees that care about you as a customer. They go all the way to town to make me happy. Im very grateful for this store, and it is my prayer that they stay in business for a long time. Amen on that for sure.P.S. Im going to take my other two skis to get them tuned by them.

Most ski rental experiences are fine; they set you up with a reasonable set of skis and thats that. Sometimes the employees seem happy to help, other times they seem a little jealous that they are working in the shop instead of skiing and hey, who can blame them!When it comes to getting the family setup with skis though, working with someone who really wants the children to have a good experience makes a difference and Kevin at Canyon Sports provided the best experience our children have ever had with ski rentals!An example; one of our children has a particular challenge with boots. Its very hard to find a pair that fits him well and he struggles to describe where a boot is hurting. This makes it difficult to get him setup. Kevin seemed to take it as a personal quest to find a boot that really worked. He talked to our son about his past experience and brought out two or three different boots for him to try. He then took time to explain different things our son could try to make the boot even more comfortable. This took a significant amount of time but Kevin stayed with it. Granted, this was for a season rental but still, it was just a rental. It felt more like Kevin was taking the kind of care youd expect a good ski-boot fitter to take on a new boot purchase; amazing!He was equally friendly with each of our children and well certainly be back!

I had season rentals from Canyon Sports twice. Both years I had great experiences. I got a bike tune up here as well. The people running the shop are knowledgeable, and are ultra competent. Discount lift tickets are available for many resorts as well, which is helpful if you are just in the area for a holiday weekend. They have great equipment. Ive gotten a couple of helmets from here, and accessories too.

I tried to reserve online, and it failed multiple times. In particular I would fill in my info (name, address, email, dates), and then click that I wanted more than one renter, and it would then reset everything. I then tried with just myself, and filled in all the info. It let me though the first page, but then when I filled in my age on the second page it failed again, going back to zero. Perhaps this was a temporary problem, but I expect more from a professional site. If it fails on you the first time, dont waste your time, go elsewhere. And Canyon Sports, please consider finding a new website provider.

We have gone to Canyon Sports for the last two years to get season rentals for our family of six. We have had such a great experience we are willing to travel thirty minutes just to rent from them. Each time we have gone the staff has been more than helpful! Very customer oriented! They have a great selection of equipment, they even asked my kids if they wanted a specific color of ski. They treated us all with respect and explained how the boots should fit and made sure they were going to be a comfortable fit for us all throughout the season. Their prices are GREAT compared to other shops. We even received a discount for being a returning customer! I give them a five star because they really couldnt have treated us any better than they did! I highly recommend Canyon Sports!

I will never rent from these arrogant jerks ever again! I went in and rented a pair of the demo skis ($35 with the discount for early reservation) and the next day when I got up to the resort I went to clip in and my skis wouldnt fit. I had to have Brighton adjust them for me costing me $20. When I returned the skis later they told me they were sorry and that it never happens to them and said they would refund me $10, the amount I had to pay to fix their mistake would have been nice but Ill take what I can get. A couple weeks later I decide to give them a second chance since they have decent prices. I tell them about my last experience and they assure me that it wont happen again and tell me they will double check the bindings. I head straight out to go do some night skiing and what do you know, my boots wont clip in! I have Brighton adjust them, again ($20). The next day when I go in to return them I tell them what happened and that this is the second time it has happened. His response verbatim That sucks, have a good day and he walks away. I had to go talk to another employee to get my refund, again only $10. But before he would give me my refund he gave me some speech about how Obama has made it almost impossible to do refunds so he isnt sure if he will be able to do the refund. Then he tells me that i probably adjusted the skis myself so that Brighton would have to fix them, makes a ton of sense huh? The stupid is strong with these employees.

This was a great rental shop! Marc was very helpful and all the staff were always smiling and friendly. The shop was often busy with only 2 or 3 people working but they stayed positive and always had time to assist. The board selection for males was great- with a few nice demo boards but not so much for females. This shop seemed to have a lot more ski selection than boards but I hired a short males Never Summer board and was more than happy coasting on this board. The shop offers discounted lift passes and there is an easy online booking option for rentals where you receive an additional 25% off for the gear.Cheers from Reuben and Katie from Australia!

We had a pleasant experience with our season rentals. I was concerned my kids might grow out of their boots and they told me there would be no problem getting larger boots for them. In the end my petite kids stayed small and did not require an exchange.

Rented ski package for several days. First pair of boots didnt feel right, and staff was very gracious about finding me a better fit. My rental timeline was a little strange And staff made that work out very well and convenient for me.

Weve used Canyon Sports for our annual ski trip (from CA) for several years now and the experience is always smooth. We fly in early morning and were on the slopes by 9:30 am thanks to an efficient and trouble-free rental process along the way. The skis are in good condition and they have various levels to choose from. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Had some problems with the board but they completely exceeded my expectations. Came from Florida to board Park City -- rented two boards and boots. They ended up reimbursing me for what I had to pay for to fix the board and if I would have called they would have drove out to park city to bring me a new board.... They didnt make me feel bad about not calling and just had amazing customer service. I highly recommend renting from them! Of all the companies I used on my trip from hotels, cars, etc this was definitely the best experience. Thanks for making our trip enjoyable

I bought a demo pair of skis from Canyon Sports last year. Great price and excellent condition. Since then, Ive had two ski tune ups from them and they do an exceptionally good job!

Here is my total Honest oppinion. I think that Canyon Sports is one of the best values that I have seen for rentals. I got season rentals from them for only 70 bucks (compared to 30 bucks a day at a resort) for skis, boots and poles. Granted, their prices to purchase things are not the best, but they are reasonable.

Great work, great service. I brought an old 10 speed in for a tune up. They did a great job, and had it ready earlier they expected. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Probably wont come back. I rented a mountain bike for the day. Picked it up, went to the mountains, and the chain kept popping off. Eventually, while fixing the chain again, another rider came down from a climb to fix his chain as well. He said he probably wont be renting from Canyon Sports again. I laughed and told him I was having the same exact issue and I too went to Canyon. When I returned the bike, I told the staff, and they didnt bother to acknowledged what I said or apologize, or examine the bike to make sure all the cables were fine. Oh well. First and last time.

I rented early in the season (pre-TG) and got solid gear at a completely reasonable price. The staff were nice, knowledgeable and attentive and Id definitely rent there again. They have lots of locations which is super convenient and were even pretty lax about the return dates (which makes sense given that it was a season rental).

Very frustrating customer service experience with bait and switch tactics where a clearly stated $80 basic youth rental turned into them trying to get my daughter on a $115 brand new equipment rental. Not willing to negotiate at all when the error was clearly on their end. Will not be back as a local, Ill let them prey on the airport crowd. Will not be back.

Rented a few paddle boards for the lake and we couldnt have been happier with the quality and service, From the beginning the guy that helped us was fast and efficient, very helpful, Got us everything we needed and had a great attitude, I will definitely do business here again soon!
