Always a great experience in here. Quality tvs and components at a great price. Hayden was extremely helpful and knew which direction to steer me. Had a few bad experiences with other retailers (should have just came in here first) but I ended up with a much better TV than I expected, for a great price. Easy to deal with and even helped me load it. Dont go anywhere else or youre wasting your time.

Good deals if your looking for lower end TVs. They dont have a giant selection of newer models and the ones they did were overpriced. That being said, if you dont need or want a newer model this may be the right place for you to consider looking into.

Great group of experts that sold me a great product! Ive always had great buying experiences here. Got a great deal on a Definitive Technologies SubPro 800 and unfortunately it died on me after about 5 minutes of use. Took it back the next week and they didnt have any others in stock so they made me an equally great deal on the 1000 and am very happy with it. My surround system at home is finally complete!

I purchased an 82 Inch TV for almost 3,000 dollars cash at this store, before a year the TV started to have some issues with the picture but nothing serious, Now the TV has a little sound but no picture at all, its broken it has no picture at all , completely black screen, so i contact the store for help and no response , then i had to go to the store personally to talk to the same salesman who sold me that TV they said that it wasnt their fault and that i had just bad luck,seriously ?? bad luck?? is that what you tell your customers who do business with you?this store is advertising the best products and the best customer service !! and yet they did not fulfill any of it.its a shame that this store is treating its customers like this and still in business.

Got my first oled yesterday! Its the 2021 LG 77 G1 , video only absolutely blows all other tv stores out of the water when it comes to price and selection! Lucas was great and really knows how to tie a tv down for travel!

Hayden helped us out. Friendly honest did ample demos so we knew exactly what we were buying for sound bars. We had a tv picked out when we came in and he didnt try to upsell or get us to alter our decision. just helped us get the appropriate accessories we were looking for and we were able to walk out with it today we were told at other places wed have to drive to hillsboro or order it online and have it shipped to home or store. He listened to what we wanted out of out TV and such and help us fit out needs admitly we also opted for a little more than we needed too.

Best place in Salem to buy a TV or speakers. Also cheaper than online retailers in most cases. I went in expecting the staff to not understand what I wanted out of a TV but was pleasantly surprised when they not only understood but were willing to help me research some other brands and models to get the best one for my price range.I left with an LG 60 that perfectly fit my needs and was about $70 less than what I intended to spend. On top of that they gave me a 15% discount on a mounting stand because the base was too large to fit on my TV stand.

Salesman, Austin the was very helpful. The store had a good selection of home theater systems from inexpensive and up. He didnt try to sell me more than I needed. As a bonus they had a Canon point and shoot, 40 optical zoom camera I was looking for...in stock! I was very pleased.

I visited the Video Only store on Lancaster Drive in Salem late one afternoon recently. Associate DougThayer greeted me and I explained that I know absolutely nothing of soundbars. I have read several reviews of several soundbars but I am rather leery and take any review with a grain of salt. Without interruption, Mr. Thayer let me explain which brand and size tv the soundbar would be connected to and what sound qualities I was looking for. Mr. Thayer led me straight to the Bose Solo 5 (known by some online reviews as one of the budget models ). After Mr. Thayer patiently listened to my questions and provided what I considered sensible answers, I decided to purchase this soundbar. When I got home I unpacked the system, read the directions, connected the system, and programmed the universal remote that came with the soundbar to control the tv, satellite receiver, DVD player, and soundbar. EVERYTHING works flawlessly!!! Thank you Doug Thayer and thank you Video Only!!!!

Salesperson was helpful and explained the product very well. Took a customer return as I didnt want to wait until the new models came in and it did have some defects, but they exchanged it without any hassle and called me promptly when I left a hdmi cord behind by mistake, even offered to drive it over to my home. I felt they treated me very fairly and would recommend them to anyone.

Well the radio commercials always get stuck in my head check video only or youll be sorry...... The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions but the variety of selection was disappointing.

They meet or beat pretty much any price out there, and are good about throwing in extras to sweeten the deal. The salesmen are not pushy at all. They are very helpful and patient. Seems like every time Ive visited over the last 15ish years, Im the only customer... so that probably helps. Every TV, monitor (TV used as computer monitor), tablet, sound system, portable bluetooth speaker, camera, memory card, etc that I or my family have bought over the last decade and a half has come from Video Only. Okay, maybe 97%... but you get the idea ;-p

Really helpful staff. I moved from out of state and lost the power cord to my TV in the move. Drove around to Best Buy and Walmart looking for a replacement and they all tried to get me to buy a replacement warranty.Went in to Video Only and they gave me a spare cord from the back free of charge!

Not a store that is walk-in friendly. the salesman might try to convince you to order something online with them even if you said no already. very pushy on selling you stuff you arent interested in buying. they start expressing visual irritation if you keep denying offers that you dont want. if you go to the store, never go alone, always bring a buddy.

Well my old TV just stopped working so I shopped around and called Video Only and had the good luck to talk to Don. He listened to what I thought I wanted and had two TVs plugged into comcast so I went to the store the next morning and Don was waiting for me. I have never been so pleased with a sales person before I think everyone in that store should take lessons from him and learn how to listen to what the customer wants. I spent two months researching and shopping online when time finally came to replace my ancient Sony Trinitron. I looked at Video Onlys website because Ive heard their radio ads and I like to do business local. They sold me the 65 Samsung KU6300 for way less than any price offered online. About half of list price.So, I bought my new TV from a great guy named Doug, a 20 minute drive from my house for an awesome low price. Plus I got to see it in operation before making my final decision. Plus, they threw in the cables and wall mount for free. I cant see why anyone would buy online when you can go to Video Only. BTW, the KU6300 rocks. Excellent picture. Definitely buy this TV.Update: Just bought another new Samsung TV from Video Only. I bought the 82 Q70R. Its an amazing unit with probably the best picture quality of any set in 2019. Once again, Video Only beat every other advertised price. In fact, Bob made me an unbelievable deal. Plus, 3 year zero interest financing. This is the second time Ive had a great experience working with Video Only and I will never buy home electronics anywhere else.

I watch 95% of my television viewing on streaming. My very last Blu-ray player bit the dust yesterday. I was devistated. I had heard good things about Video Only (although for the life of me I cant remember where!) and I had to go into Salem anyway so I stopped to pick up a Player. I thought it would be one fast and easy stop. Was I wrong. As soon as I walked through the door I was met by a salesperson. I told him extactly what I wanted. The first thing he did was suggest a different brand. Did it have everything that I required? Absolutely. Since I am sceptical I insisted that he hook it up and show me. It did not have what I had specified. This wonderful VO salesperson who is supposed to be so capable of finding you just what you need then refused to show me any other players. He told me I should not buy from VO. He suggested several other retail stores that I could try. He said if I wanted to buy from VO I should come back in about 3 weeks but I would probably find what I was looking for elsewhere.He was very pleasant but still.... I was shaking my head in amazement as I walked out. Next time I think I will just make a quick stop at the WalMart.

I went to this store on 11-4-17 and found them closed. Its a shame that you have to close at 7 p.m. at night, Monday through Saturday. You lost a sale of a new camera because you have to close up so early. If you dont think its important to stay open until 9 or 10 at night, then maybe you should close your doors permanently.

The prices arent as low as they say and the selection is about the same as anywhere else. Might as well save money and go to Wal-Mart.
