Love love LOVE Corti Brothers! I live in this area and knew of them from my own personal shopping. I had a catering order that needed to be filled for a clients private flight and only had a few hours. The girls at the deli made it happen with a dessert platter and a fruit & cheese platter that was beautifully put together. These pictures dont do it justice, but its what I have.... they really took the time and put together two quality trays on short notice. 💛👏🏼

Great grocery/deli store in East Sac. The employees and management are kind people. The sandwiches are most delicious. The wine selection covers vineyards throughout the mainland Europe.

Incredible selection, delicious deli sandwiches, well stocked butcher counter staffed by knowledgeable butchers, and friendly and helpful cashiers. All of the staff are very accommodating, they clearly like working at this Sacramento landmark.Since 1947!

The deli, wow the service was awesome. Had everything you can ask for from an Italian store. The ladies behind the counter are awesome too.

I love this place and because I live in Placer County I dont get to visit as often as Id like. Im an Italian from New York so we are used to getting whatever we want in grocery stores. This store does not disappoint and meets any discriminating foodie when it comes to buying high quality Italian foods.

Love it, Havent been there since I was a child. This will most definitely be on my stores to shop at. Every one was polite and helpful. Store was clean and safe.

Favorite deli anywhere. Nothing like walking in as fresh baked bread is being put on the shelves. This is one of the last classy markets left. A jewel and a landmark that makes East Sac a special neighborhood.

Loved it! Enjoyed my day trip to Corti Brothers international and variety of cheese and German made hog head cheese, thought they would have the spicy hot ( dont carry the hot cheese anymore). Love this place. I come to get sandwiches for lunch here and they are delicious! They have a huge selection Of wines and craft beers of all kinds From different parts of the world. If youre looking for a speciality food product or drink from Switzerland, Italy Germany, England they probably have it here. Fresh bread,fruit,deli,cheese,olives, pasta, the list goes on! Check it out youll be wondering why you havent been here before. Store closes at 7pm. Apple and Samsung pay accepted, cash back at register.

I fell in love with this place a few months ago after moving to the area. The first few times going exceeded my expectations. The wait for a sandwich was never too long and they made it correctly, even when placing an online order.Unfortunately the past few weeks I’ve been having terrible luck. Not sure if they hired someone new or if the workers are just slacking off, but every time I’ve placed an order for pick up it’s been incorrect or has taken an obscene amount of time. The website tells you approximately 30 minutes for a pick up order and there have been times I’ve had to wait 45 minutes. There are also times where they put way too much of a condiment on the sandwich or give me the incorrect type of bread or cheese.Today was really what disappointed me though and is the reason for the 2 star review. I placed an online order for a Turkey sandwich, with lettuce and tomato. Everything was correct except whoever made the sandwich added mayonnaise to it. Normally this isn’t a problem because I’m not that picky. I didn’t unwrap the sandwich until i got in the car and ate it, which was when i noticed. But I now have food poisoning so bad I can’t even stay standing because of the cramping. I tried taking medicine for it and nothing has helped. I know it’s because of the mayo that was added to the sandwich because this has never happened to me before. I have a stomach of steel and never get food poisoning or have GI upset from this stuff. I’m guessing their mayo was expired or had been sitting out for awhile. Definitely won’t be coming back to Corti Bros for awhile. If you ever need a sign to check your food before leaving somewhere, this is it!Attached is a screenshot of the receipt showing I didn’t order it with mayo.

I really want to like this place but I just cant. It feels so much more like a large convenience store than a grocery store. Isles look like theyre right out of the 70s, produce section is small and lackluster, and the checkout system is horrifying. They have a few redeeming qualities though. Their staff is fantastic! Truly so kind and helpful. And their selection of meats and seafood is both vast and crazy fresh. If you need meats/seafood this is the place. Otherwise, Id skip it.

This old-school grocery is straight out of another era! A true gem in East Sac that is definitely worth a visit. Not the place to grab everything you need (its expensive!), but for specialty items and fresh meat Cortis is hard to beat. Great selection of craft beer and wine, too!

Always go to Corti whenever were within a 30 mile radius. The deli is a must. Meats, cheeses and those sandwiches are amazing! We just spent $245 in groceries there with no regret.

Reminiscent of A-day gone by. Its an old school store. A lot of unique items. Things you cannot find anywhere else. Mixed in with many common items. I highly recommend this store with its charm and Employees.

A lot of time is consumed at the deli waiting for fresh sliced meats and cheeses. I think they should pre-slice a bunch of 1 lb packs of the most popular meats and cheeses they have, so you just grab a package and go. I would gladly sacrifice a few hours of freshness for the time saved waiting for my number to be called.

Great food coming out of the deli counter, especially the sandwiches. Thats really the Hidden Gem of this place. There are a lot of traditional Italian items that are imported, but unfortunately, way out of my price range.

I have always loved Corti Bros. But my last trip I bought some liver Sausage at the Deli.I always loved their Liver Sausage and have ordered many time. This time I got what was called slicing liverSausage. It is gross. I couldn’t eat it. Tasted like rubber. Not the creamy texture I remember. What happened. Never again with out tasting first. Very disappointed.

Been coming here for a decade. The Corti special is a serious sandwich that has yet to disappoint, and the wine section is awesome with a fantastic conaisseur who is always helpful and knowledgeable.

We like this place for Italian deli meats...I usually buy the red potato salad and last time the potatoes didnt get cooked enough, very hard....this has been a problem periodically and every time I let the deli people know but either the kitchen cooks dont get the message or they do not care...PLEASE use a fork to make sure the potatoes are cooked....al dente is good for pasta not potatoes....

Old School Italian Market Deli with extensive selection of cold cuts, cheeses, specialty dishes (Indian, Greek, etc...) olives and Salads. Great selection of Italian and foreign wines as well as Single Craft Beers. Vegetables are fresh. Summer brings unique International and Local fruits.

Corti Brothers is a place you go for quality ingredients and ingredients you dont find in an average grocery store. Whenever Im looking for specific ingredients for Italian or French dishes that I know are uncommon, I come here.Its a place both of my parents have gone before starting a family because of their quality and variety. They also have an amazing deli and stock the seasonal catch along with harvest.The product honestly is amazing and the staff are knowledgeable, plus super friendly.They also stock an impressive wine and beer selection, local and import.Corti Brothers is definitely an experience that everyone in the area should have, specially if you enjoy cooking.

This store is awesome and has loads of specialty items. If you are from the east coast you will love this store. I buy bacalao here. Its the only place were I can get bacalao here in Sacramento. It is the real cod and not that pollock stuff.

Pretty awesome store.- sandwiches are hudge and priced fairly- great deli area. Ham is the best- Kabyu meat was outstanding- they remove rib membrane for you- Ton of selection for anything ItalianThe bad (from my experience)- lady behind the counter was just naming off numbers (4 numbers @ a time, only 3 associates that can help) causing confusion and skipping a ton of people.- Theyre cheese got me sick for days. My family and I eat everywhere together. I was the only one to have their cheese and it didnt go well.But overall, pretty awesome store especially concidering its been open since WWII

There is one problem with Corti Bros... I cannot go in for just one item and not walk out with ten. Pro tip.. put in your sandwich order first then shop the store while it is being made.

Corti Brothers is such a treasure for East Sacramento. The authentic vibe of the neighborhood grocery store, and the amazing staff makes evey trip there a delight.My teenaged son and I were in the neighborhood for another task, when I thought to stop by and grab a couple of items, one of which was a specialty liquor not widely available. I always stop when I am in the area if time allows. I knew that I would pay more than I would at a national house of booze or regional grocery store chain and my son noted that it was a lot to pay for the small amount of items we got. This gave me a great opportunity to discuss the value of support that the community gives to small business.We talked the whole 20 minute drive about the value of keeping your dollars local, even if that means buying less. We also talked about how the staff must be very well treated as is evident by the low turnover, as well as the pride they take in providing unique, superior products to the people of Sacramento.Keep up the great work team, you are loved and appreciated by your community.

Came here for the first time because I seen the reviews everybody gave them four and five stars I’m from New York so when I walked in it was like oh wow I’m home this is like New York style so when the guy that made my sandwich he has frizzy hair up in a ponytail and he’s on the large side I told him to make my two sandwiches with rolls well he makes one sandwich with a roll and the other on regular bread and I told him three times both sandwiches with rolls poor service they do what they wanna do to your sandwich. I guess they don’t listen to the instructions you give them

Ordered my Turkey and the meat dept. was very helpful explaining the 4 or 5 different turkeys that you offer. Came in for lady fingers and when I asked the deli if they had the crispy lady fingers and they said no. I saw the soft ones in the deli.One of the customers found 2 different packs for me. I did order a roast beef and cheddar sandwich on sour dough bread that was so good. I will definitely bring my co-workers back for lunch. Most delicious. See you all soon
