Best glass place around...

After researching several glass companies for commercial glass door repair we chose Capital City Glass & Mirror for what they promised to deliver. Timing was of essence to our needs. Proposal was accepted and signed on a Tuesday with an estimated replacement dates of Thursday or Friday. When contacted to find out about the status of the repair on the Friday afternoon we were informed that the installer works 5a-1p and had left for the weekend as they did not have the material yet and will followup on Monday. A simple phone call would have sufficed. Office staff were friendly and attempted their best to remedy the situation. They agreed that at least a phone call would have been a professional courtesy. They offered a 10% discount. During a followup conversation today we were informed that the office staff was worried to be reprimanded as they were instructed not to provide any compensation by the soon to be owner Randy who had instructed her if they are not satisfied with our service we will remove the installed glass. This is a company with 30 years of service. Our goal was to establish a long term relationship with a local glass company for our future regional glass needs. Certainly not one to consider again and nor to recommend to others. 2 stars are for the genuine efforts of the staff, otherwise a one would have been more than enough.

TERRIBLE. Dont ever work with this company. They did our commercial doors- the owner himself did them. They are glass. While unlocked, they never once stayed shut. We called multiple times about this issue and never got a call back. Finally on a windy day, the door actually blew off and shattered. Its raining, and this is a business, so we need to have a door, obviously. The owner shows up, asks what happened, I tell him it blew off. He accuses us of hitting it with something. As I stated before, the doors never stayed shut and weve tried contacting him about it multiple times. I ask how soon we can get the door- he says weeks- I say okay, well, we need something there in the meantime. He goes I can tell you how to do it. Excuse me? tell me how? I tell him we need him to do it because its his responsibility, and he just turns around and walks out. Worst experience ever.

Absolutely horrible. If I can give 0 stars I would. Never responds to communication, says they will call and they never do. Says they have parts ready but they dont. Took about 1 month to show us samples of materials. Took us over 2 months to have our shower door. We have been waiting for a week on a small shower sweep. They said they would come to install last Friday and it is now Wednesday and they have not called or showed up. We would have gone elsewhere except we signed a contract and paid the payment. I would never do business with them again.

I was legally parked in motorcycle parking in front of Sauced in Sacramento. Apparently they decided to drag my motorcycle sideways so they could make their. Delivey. A witness pointed out their truck and the employee basically admitted doing it. They broke my kickstand safety switch and tweaked the kickstand. I spoke to a manager who said he would investigate it and cover the damage...$150. He never followed through with a call back, as another reviewer had mentioned...so I filed a police report on them. This company has zero integrity

Great place to get custom cut glass and mirror! Very fair pricing and very friendly staff!

Very unprofessional, flaked out on the glass i was told to come in for the following day then came up with a excuse of a accident. Dont waste time with these guys go elsewhere.

Janet and her coworkers are really welcoming and nice. The location is really close to my house. Plus, they always finish an order on schedule.
