We went in for basic ballet shoes and the sales associate was super nice and helpful. I knew she was waiting for her appointment to show up but she still took the time to help my daughter find shoes that fit perfectly. Will go to this store for my dance needs from now on.

Im a beginning, novice social dancer, and went to Capezio for dance shoes. They were recommended to me by a friend who is seasoned in dancing. I wasnt so sure of what I was doing, but the staff member who assisted me was extremely helpful. She had me try on many different pairs to find the one that fit my feet the best! And she gave me advice for picking shoes and maintaining the soles of the ones I purchased.

Great customer service, they really did a great job getting my daughter fitted for both ballet and tap dance shoes. I absolutely love coming here. We have been going to the Capezio in Cupertino for years and we decided to go here and check it out for my daughters ballet class. They made sure to fit her for ballet slippers and had her run around in them to make sure it was a good fit. They have a wonderful assortment of clothes and adorable cover ups and tights. The staff is what makes all the difference we will definitely be back.

I came here to get pre-pointe shoes a couple of years ago, and again for Nutcracker. The staff was super helpful with finding the perfect shoes, as well as giving us instructions for sewing elastics and ribbons. I would definitely recommend coming here!

I was here about 10 years ago buying pointe shoes with my dance group and one of the employees told me my feet were fat and I was the perfect example of “what not to be as a dancer”. I remember my mom calling the store and I think that woman was fired. But I never went back to that store again.

Miss Sheila was so patient and attentive to my daughters first fitting for Pointe shoes. She spent just the right amount of time to look at and understand my daughters feet and tried several different styles within different brands to find the very best fit. The store always seems to have just what we need in stock. The store serves all ages of dancers and many styles of dance.

They also made a point of requesting sizes above & below our special order size for their store order, in case the size estimate was off!

The best dance store around! Had three pointe shoe fittings, plus flats for 2 girls. I reccomend all my students to come here. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There are usually great sales happening as well. We got tights free with pointe shoes this last time.

First time buying dance shoes and staff was marvelous. I learned so much about shoe fitting. They have a small dance floor to get a feel of how he shoes feel on a real floor. This is my second time back for shoes.

I bought a BALLET UNITARD here a long time ago that gave me years and years of faithful wear. I would go back for more anytime; and its good to know this shop is still here at the same location in East Sac.

I teach ballet in Rocklin and without too many local options we usually end up traveling a great distance to pointe shoe fittings. I could not be more pleased with Capezio in Sacramento! I went with one of my dancers to have her fitted for a second pair since shes been having problems with her first (fitted elsewhere). Agata was SO attentive and took her time with my dancer. Agata is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, spending almost 2 hours to find the right shoe. I am so impressed and thrilled that we have a fairly local fitter we can trust.

The manager, Sheila, took great care in making sure my daughter was properly fitted with her pointe shoes. She knew all the little details of the various brands, and helped select the best pair for my daughters feet. She double checked how my daughter put the shoes on, prepared her feet, etc. She complimented my daughters techniques, which we had learned on our previous trip to Capezio. Meanwhile I observed the other staff members helping the regular stream of customers, young and old, find what they needed. One customer was greeted by name, another who had driven a great distance, was given an extension on a sale price. A little girl was having an extra special buying my first (not hand me down) pair of shiny tap shoes. Everyone seemed pleased while we were there. Our time there took longer than everyone elses, but it was not used to pressure us into spending money. The information and service we received was useful and necessary. I dont normally write reviews, but i am very pleased with our experience.
