This place is awesome! The atmosphere is really nice with hanging plants and nice furniture. The drinks were great and fairly priced. The menu looks healthy and delicious, I cant wait to go back when I have more time to hang out!

Coffee was good. Food was not removed from the cellophane wrap which seemed tacky. Zero smile, no attempt by staff to give a friendly vibe. If they would have even attempted to be kind it would be a five star review. That seems to be on par with the new cold city treatment in Sacramento.

Thank you to Chelsea and Daphny for excellent 5 star customer service today! The Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte with coconut milk was perfectly sweet and the apple crossover was enough goodness to share! It was so nice to locate a local shop that has a healthy amount of dairy-free options and patronizing supporters without a huge line or stressful atmosphere where folks are in a rush. I also appreciated the delicate aroma of coffee instead of the usual acidic heaviness that comes from most popular places where you can smell the old coffee grounds in the air and the smell takes over your vehicle or worse it clings to your entire outfit! Needless to say this was the perfect spot to start my paintings off with a pop! My car smelled like sweet pumpkin all the way back and this chai is a wonderfully warm way to add some spice to my day! Let me stay and use the outlets for 3 hours without having to purchase anything! Super nice! I guess cause foot traffic was low but even so, super nice of them. Smelled really good inside 😅

It’s the best caffe ever, you can set there more than 2 hours without anyone bothering you.Its calm, comfortable, and the staff are very friendly & nice.I recommend this place for everyone for studying or business meeting or just for relaxing 😭😭💕Ooh and they have the best toasts you gonna try ( avocado toast or ricotta toast ) , they have chocolate cookies 🍪 it’s delicious and the croiffle are amazing 🥰❤️

Wonderfully friendly staff, clean enough inside to perform surgery, all the different drinks and snacks you could ever expect from a coffee shop. If you go to any other coffee shop in Sacramento, youre just punishing yourself

Super staff, very clean, and crazy low prices. Nice chairs with a pleasant and crisp decor. Personally, Im not a fan of roasty flavors in coffee. Their food selection looks prepared by a professional chef with great complimenting ingredients.

I had the coffee shake with caramel & 4 shots of espresso & it was delicious! Ill definitely be coming back! ❤

Covid is really making places nigh uninhabitable with state restrictions and standards. Fortunately, Roots has a patio with plenty of space and comfortable cafe seating. The croissant and cappuccino were just what I needed for this early morning, and the staff and even the customers all just seemed like happy, helpful and wonderful people! Power of caffeine or just the vibe of the place? Dont know myself, but check it out and see for yourself! Delicious 😋

It was my first time at this coffee shop yesterday and I was surprised to walk in and see such a beautiful interior - you have to go inside. The owner is so sweet and everyone working there was so kind and welcoming. The whole place just has a great energy and environment.Great place to hang out or get a little work done because there’s outlets and comfortable seating!

I like to come here to get coffee with my friends and my coworkers. Its a neat little spot and the baristas are super nice.

I love this place so much. The coffee is delicious and definitely still manages to standout in a city full with little independent coffee shops. The honey latte is delicious! The interior design is modern and fresh, making for a nice, cool quiet place to hang out and an enjoy a coffee.

They have good coffee..just as good as starbucks,petes, & dutch bros.

Hidden in the corner right across from Golden 1 arena this shop is easy to miss. I had high expectations after browsing their website but the coffee was average. They use beans from a roaster in Seattle which isnt bad necessarily, but theres plenty of local roasters that turn out better cups than what I had. I just got a cappuccino and my friend an Americano. We both had the same impression. They do serve food which did look pretty fantastic but I didnt try any so this review is strictly for the brew.

Chai Latte was delicious. Order came out in a timely fashion. The interior design is spectacular. All around this is one of the few coffee shops out there that actually make you feel at home.

Absolutely LOVE THE PESTO PIZZA AND AVOCADO TOAST AND TEAS AND COFFEE!! THE PLACE ROCKS. Why not a five star? They only serve the food until 3pm and on the weekends they close kitchen at 230p.m. thats what I was told. Even if its 223, it was considered 230p.m. to them. Ughs.Other than that , place rocks!

I thought this was a nice coffee shop. Good alternative to Starbucks. Great coffee. Pre COVID, they had a nice seating area. Little pricey for what it is, but thats to be expected for a business next to the DOCO.

Great food and wonderful service! I had the mushroom quiche and a latte both very tasty. The coffee is very rich and flavorful...YUM! New favorite at DOCO.

The coffee was excellent and so was the chocolate chip brownie cookie w/ ice. Nice size cookie, big cookie. W/ chocolate and caramel swirls on it.The atmosphere is amazing, loved it.

Was here earlier today and had a great experience. I work in the area, the atmosphere here is grade A! I was unsure of what i wanted and the barista took the time to ask me what flavors i liked, then he offered to make me a custom latte and took the time to write my name on top of it. One star off cause my food took a little longer than I expected

Very underwhelming. When I went for lunch today I ordered the tuna melt toast. Very small portion for what you get and the toast was very burnt on the edges. The tuna itself was very good! I also can’t drink coffee but most coffee shops have teas and such as well. I asked if they had iced tea but they only have hot with the exception of chai. I then asked if I could just get a hot tea and then have them pour it over ice and they refused. Not sure if I’ll be coming back here. I had really high hopes but the staff fell very short today.

Amazing coffee shop! The coffee is DELICIOUS. I love the espresso they use. Definitely try the Affogato and if you like Kombucha, try a glass of their Peach kombucha. Its also decorated really cute! I love the modern decor! Definitely worth checking out and coming back for more!!
