I used to love going to this place. But after todays visit, I will probably reconsider. The staff and food service is great. However, the portions have gotten smaller yet the prices have gone up. I was not happy with the size portion if my crepe. It arrived at my table almost half the size it was before in previous visits and I have been going here for several years. Even their pasta dish was smaller. We used to be able to share it with 2 people and still have leftovers. Now 2 people can finish it. It was disheartening to see. Im not sure if its under new management but their menu has changed also. When they used to have several omelet options now there is only 2. But youre able to add on different meats/veggies at $1 each. So since all the omelet options were gone, I decided to go with a cheese omelet with bacon and onions (in the omelet). When my food arrived, it wasnt an omelet that I received. It was eggs folded with bacon and onions in it served like a taco. I assumed since I ordered an omelet with bacon and onions, that it would be mixed in with the egg and have it look like an omelet. No. It was an egg with cheese with fried onions and eggs place on top of the egg and then folded to make it look like the bacon and onions were mixed in the egg. I was disappointed. It was almost $15 for the omelet which really wasnt an omelet. All in all, the quality and size of the food had gone down. I dont find myself choosing to come back any time soon.

The ambiance here is great, including their lovely patio. This is a nice place to meet up with people. The coffee and food are good, although a bit on the pricey side. It would be nice if there were a few cheaper and smaller breakfast options. Parking is a bit tricky, as street parking is a 1 or 2 hour limit, but there is some parking across the street.

Picturesque, fresh food, spacious indoor/outdoor seating.I decided on this place to let my husband try an eggs Benedict menu, But he ended up going with the spicy scrambled eggs which he says were very nice. The kids menu had both breakfast and lunch options. My daughter got the french toast which came with a nice selection of mixed fruit. My son grab the grilled cheese. Both were solid. I got the spicy grilled chicken sandwich. Everythings looked very fresh and the taste was fine.They had a tea, coffee, and beer menu. I tried the African sunset and unless Im mistaken it looks like they had their own mix and handbagged their tea. They had sugar and other assortments available to doctorate near the counter. I always appreciate a nice loose leaf tea menu! They also had a large wine cabinet.They had two unisex bathrooms and at least one of them had a baby changing station. I also saw at least one family use high chairs so they have those available. The outdoor dining was well covered and had a lovely view of the pedestrian street and a good amount of plants and foliage. Calming alternative music played.It was a lovely stop on our road trip and Id recommend it for someone wanting a slow morning of people watching and playing on their electronics. OH! Its also a wizards unite greenhouse which usually means its something equivalent in pokémon GO. I would absolutely come here again.

The food took a bit long to arrive and needed some salt but over all the plates were generous and the quality and presentation excellent

Food was eggsalent! We had the Curtis Park Benedict and the Breakfast Crepe, both were quickly prepared, fresh and Delicious. We are kind of upset that we have lived in Sacramento for over 8 years and have just now discovered this wonderful is wonderful quiet restaurant. We sat out on the back patio right next to the waterfall wall. They also have a large communal table on the back porch with a center fire pit. There is plenty of outside fresh air seating all around the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Also love that you can just sit yourself, order and pay by the counter, no one constantly come ask how’s everything! Definitely love the left alone vibe! Feel like the owner cares and he/she should definitely open more restaurants!!

The food was amazing, as well as the whole atmosphere of the cafe. I think the staff were amazing and very kind towards us. I appreciate the inclusiveness of the vegetarian and gluten free options they have. This would be a perfect date or chill evening outing type of place and just an overall place worth trying out. Also, if you like outdoor or indoor dining they have you covered!

Very soothing outdoors rap around porch feel. Just all around beauty. Even my food is pretty😄😋😄 took alittle long for to GO tho. Ill just come back for dinner and enjoy the atmosphere and menu.

Time coming here and I absolutely loved it. Love the outdoor space & mist to cool you off in the California heat. This place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for study dates, they include temple coffee and really good food for the most part. I got a Benedict called the one. I think my expectations were higher than what I got, that is why this place has four stars but other than that the meals are huge and I would definitely recommend sharing portion sizes if you can’t eat a lot. My friends and we really enjoyed it will definitely be coming back.- edited after coming back, STILL love it the second time I had a burger and it was splendid! I won’t recommend taking a laptop & studying there tho because the connection was horrible. I ended up using my phone but the waiter did everything he could to help me so that was nice !

The Greek Salad continues to be a tasty treat time and time again. Mom and I dined together today and shared the large salad. She is a confirmed salad lover and was quite impressed. The Lemon Garlic Vinaigrette dressing is delicious. It also comes with your choice of bread. I chose a Baguette. I ordered the salad without any added protein, but in the past I have added steak. Yum!

Great lunch of clam chowder and Fuji salad. I’ve had the California crepe before which doesn’t disappoint. The desserts looked really good too. Relaxing atmosphere.

This was our first time here.Nice ambiance: rustic with indoor and out door seating.Menu is vast. We got banana French toast, B&B bagel, black berry mocha and iced soy matcha. Both the dishes and drinks were delicious and nicely presented.Were looking forward to coming back to try the rest of their menu.

Cozy aesthetically pleasing cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Also great place to grab lunch with friends or go on a dinner date! Wont go wrong with anything on their menu.

Great flavor and a really nice ambiance. Really enjoyable. I would recommend this place.The only thing I would say is that they could use a mandoline slicer to slice some of their foods. When a garnish comes with the meals, like a radish or fennel, the slices are very thick. Thinner slices would go a long way in my opinion.

Food wasnt great. The good part is that service was great and coffee too.I ordered eggs Benedict, these were cold and not seasoned, they were also covered with over cooked spinach that made the English muffin soaked in liquid.My husband ordered a breakfast burrito which was not good either. Covered in guac with not taste at all.

Love this spot!!! Such good food! I’ve tried their burgers, sandwiches and fries, and they were all so delicious! The service is great and the location is beautiful. The outdoor patio is beautiful and lots of plants and greenery. There’s also a temple coffee in here which serves great coffee so that’s a plus

I was happy that everyone cooking in the back and cashiering were all wearing their mask. Many restaurants hang signs that says puclic must wear a mask to get service, but none of their cooks are wearing them. It was the first time I had a philly cheese crepe . Tasty & different

French toast was great, and good syrup.

The food was a mix of passible to good. For example, the potatoes were undercooked in one dish and an otherwise entirely sweet dish had bacon added on it which clashed very notably flavor-wise. Service was OK with the exception of peoples dishes coming out at different times with pretty significant time gaps in-between. The restaurant isnt bad by any means but with so many other options in the Sacramento area Im mostly left thinking, why bother coming back?

I love the food here however I dont know about the service. The front staff seem young and unprofessional. I was celebrating my friend for her bday recently and we were done eating and getting ready to head out close to closing time anyway, however we had 2 guys come and kind of rudely tell us theyre closing and we need to leave (like now!) and were putting chairs up/away. This negative experience will stick with me and Im not sure if I want to go back.

My Italian scramble was excellent. Seasoned red potatoes equally scrumptious. My only complaint is my decaffeinated coffee was a bit watery. When busy, expect a wait; however, the tables turn over pretty quickly. Outdoor seating is wonderful.

Normally I love this place. But tonight, my togo order of seafood fettuccini came without any noodles. I couldnt go back and return it, since I didnt realize until I got home. When I tried calling, it took 11 calls before anyone even picked up the phone. Once I got through, the manager on duty was shocked, but said I had to return it in order for them to do anything. I hadnt asked them for anything, just called to let them know there was a problem with their kitchen. Thumbs down, tonight, Dantorelle. Bad showing all around.

Such cozy and nice ambiance, gentle staff willing to help out, nice food and beverages! If you are looking for a good coffee (Temple coffee) or beer (some good options on draft) and a place that is open til a little later than most coffee shops, this is the place!It is not exactly an affordable menu but I think it is worth because the location, services, place and more!

Love this place. The lavender 💜 iced coffee and breakfasts are great. The atmosphere is also charming and quaint.If I could change one thing, it would be that waitresses are usually in a bit of a hurry. This last time she didnt bring me back my change at all.

This place is a must when in Sacramento! It is a staple. The food is delicious! Sure, you order at the counter.... And??? At brunch they have a Fresh sqeezed orange juice with carrot juice❤❤❤!

I enjoyed a delicious chicken sandwich and a yummy chocolate chip cookie. We had lead dog beer which had a berry flavor to it. We enjoyed the patio seating and the staff was helpful.

A cheeseburger a bit on the pricey side but good nonetheless.

The burger and fries were particularly good, I’d say the crepe I had was just ok. The portions were surprisingly generous, and of course the patio is great.

People dont always know that they dont take your order so psa. This place is known by locals and well loved . Great spaghetti and regularish foods with an upscale casual vibe. Can be kinda pricy but I havent had bad experience yet (and Im pretty picky)

Pretty good. Kinda pricey for what you get. But after all since Covid everything is in a rebuild mode.

The service is nothing to scream about. Very self service type of restaurant. You order before you sit. Menu is not small. Eggs are not served after 3pm. Decore is gorgeous seating all around the oitside of the building and back of restaurant. We had French toast with fresh fruit..so good. Great place to go when you just want to eat and interact with friends was noisy when I went. Would not recommend for a intimate seating or first date. They have about six places in the back for parking otherwise its free on the street.

I love the food at Dantorels and during the Covid era, they are prepped and ready to go. The wait staff also happens to be good looking. The place was immaculately clean as well and that is very much appreciated during a pandemic. Tons of outdoor seating is also available. highly recommend

The food taste decent but even with the healthy meals it definitely bloats you and hurts your stomach , you can tell the quality of food isnt very high, but terrible customer service, Im not sure if shes in charge but theres a shorter woman with brown black hair that runs away and is very abrasive, Ive had several bad experiences with her that just leave a bad taste in my mouth, theres also several waiters that have just been plain rude

The BEST breakfast burrito Ive ever had. You can taste the quality of ingredients and they balance the healthy veggies and guacamole perfectly with the eggs, sour cream, and soft potatoes. Add bacon. They have been super efficient during COVID and their pickup is so easy. The wait staff also happens to be good looking.

This is a charming restaurant in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It is like an oasis with its covered sidewalk seating, string lights, and many plants. There is also a covered patio with a fountain. As people have noted, there is a big variety on the menu. I met a friend there after work and ordered a cocktail (delish $10) and the lamb kabob ($19 and not so delish). I love lamb but unfortunately this was overdone and tough... the side dishes were underwhelming as well. I agree that the prices struck me as being pretty high for an order-at-the-counter restaurant but Ive noticed higher prices at other restaurants lately too so maybe this is a post-covid trend. Overall, I will definitely come back due to the convenience of its location and its great ambience.

When I last went they had a steak club that taste amazing. Im not sure if its still on the menu, if it is, its a must!!Service was great also nice atmosphere

Great selection. Full menu open all day. Large portions, you could easily split. Great quality food. Creative menu and dishes. Great atmosphere to hang in for a while. I had the portabella mushroom sandwich it was good they used a hole avacado on this thing! My only personal criticism would be that everything is such a large portion and piled on so high that you lose that nice balance flavor profile. But thats just me some ppl love Monsterous sized dishes, they certainly appeal to the eye.

Although the food is a little pricy, you get what you pay for! I got the turkey BLT sandwich and I had to take half of it home because it was too much to eat. The employees are very helpful and pleasant, and the building itself is very nice, especially the outdoor area. I am definitely coming back!
