Im in Reno and there is a lot to say about the difference in the way cars are sold on the western side of the Sierras versus the eastern. Not the least of which is the fact that over here dealers are tens of miles apart as opposed to tens of blocks apart. But that said, I ended up at Downtown Ford because they had the exact vehicle I was looking for. Everyone I dealt with was willing to communicate and accommodate. I want to thank Bill, Austin and Moises for their good work and great attitudes. The guys who delivered my car were professional and efficient and the process went quite well.When it comes time for PMs, Ill be quite willing to come over the hill to give the service dept a go.

David Hall assisted me with getting my car serviced. He was extremely polite and made sure I was comfortable. Before dropping my car off, I needed to figure out my ride situation that day because I had to work. After dropping my car off, I was ready to find a ride for myself. Not even mentioning anything, David offered to get me a ride to wherever I needed to go and back to pick up my car. He updated on how my car was going while I was at work. They couldn’t fix all the things I needed to get done so I was scheduled another service date. I don’t mind this because I know I don’t have to worry about finding a ride to work and back. I think I just found my favorite Ford service.

My access facia panel to the cabin filter somehow became damaged during the service appointment. Upon discovery of the damage the next day I contacted my service advisor and he assured me it would be taken care of. To make sure the part fit correctly and would not rattle he ordered two additional components to make this and OEM job. Please with his positive attitude and follow through

He was doing everything by himself and it caused a 20 minute delay on drop off and about 30 minutes on pick up.I will be going to a Ford Service closer to my house next time and moving forward due to this experience.

I take my vehicle here because of the location convenience to Natomas and it seems more family owned than the larger Ford establishments and this makes me feel more comfortable. The workers here are polite and helpful and have never lied to me about the service options and cost for my vehicles maintenance and this really means a lot to me. I would recommend.

Was recommend Downtown Ford because they have the best tools and experience but they had our vehicle for TWO MONTHS, they charged us $1500 and nothing was resolved. They said they replaced multiple parts and did lots of stuff but there is no evidence of them doing anything. We checked on our vehicle several times and every time it was simply sitting in their parking lot. This place is a total disappointment. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 7:30 A.M. I was told that my vehicle would be ready by noon. I returned at 1:45 P.M. and I was told that my vehicle was not ready because they were waiting on the oil that was being transported from the Bay Area. If my car was not ready by the time that was stated, then a simple call explaining the situation would certainly would be appreciated. This experience was beyond disappointing, and should have been handled differently.

Looks like service department needs to be more customer service oriented start to finish. Checking in was fine, checking out was long. Tech that worked on my truck had keys in he’s pocket lol. Went to lunch while everyone was trying to locate the keys. He came back and still didn’t know that the key was in he’s pocket. 45 mins later I was finally out of there. I’ll be back for service there since it’s the closest dealer. Hopefully things will go smoother.

Visited Downtown Ford to purchase a Certified 2019 F350 platinum,a $67,000 used truck.Upon personal inspection I discovered silt inside the (boxed)frame and on inside of the frame (tube)crossmembers, further inspection led me to remove interior trim pieces to find obvious water damage, residue, mud and sediment inside the Cabin of the truck.It was apparent that the truck had been submerged and or Flooded. You don’t have corrosion, mud, sediment and residue behind interior panels on a 2019 luxury truck that is in otherwise pristine condition unless it had been sitting under water.After pointing these things out to the manager, and declining to purchase, my discovery was dismissed, and the vehicle was placed back in the same spot it was when I arrived an hour earlier.The staff, salesman was kind and helpful, however the dismissal of my concerns about the truck being flooded was disappointing, and disrespectful.As of this morning the truck I was attempting to purchase is still available and at a new “reduced price”VIN: 1FT8W3BT0KEC18729The vehicle is imported from Canada, which is why I believe the carfax is “clean”.Buyer beware, and as for me, I won’t be going to Downtown ford to purchase any vehicle after this incident,not that they seem to care.

I was hearing a sound coming from my car and called Downtown Ford since they are closer to my home than Folsom. Anyway spoke to David Hall one of their Service Technicians and he said bring it over and he would see if it was anything I needed to worry about. David was very nice and not only did he take a look but had one of his mechanics take a look. That to me was going above and beyond and I didnt have an appointment. I have been using Downtown Ford service off and on for the last 20 years. I was never really impressed with their service (surprised when it was good) but they are close to my home. My recent experience was the last straw. Similar to other comments here, they didnt bother to even look over my truck after two days (and with an appointment). No phone call. Nothing. I picked up my truck and went down to Elk Grove Ford (best decision ever). I wrote a letter to Ford Corporate and received back a canned reply, basically saying I should have to talked to the service manager. Well I am pretty sure this is where the problem starts so ...

Ive always been wary of car dealerships. My anxiety would go up just walking into the building expecting manipulation and a team approach to selling me a car. But, I was very pleasantly surprised by the team at Downtown Ford. My sales advisor, Will Anderson while relatively new to the profession after a year was professional, asked good questions and never seemed impatient with my needing to make the right decision for myself. Im already thinking of my next purchase...Can you spell Mustang Bullitt edition? Great dealership, sales advisor and finance.

I called David Hall, to see if they could get me in that day. He told me they were all filled up with appointments that day. After i let him know i had to be back on the road the next day, he said to bring my vehicle in and he would find the time that day.He followed through, and i was all set by the end of that day !

Came here to purchase a vehicle and have service done as well. We reached out to inquire about the bronco sport via email and received a response back by phone maybe a half hour later, very prompt. After setting up an appointment to test drive, we worked with Spencer and Pedro to get to a deal we were happy with. Since the car just got to the lot that day, it was not ready to be given to us. However, they provided a loaner vehicle for the time being at no charge to us. Even after we picked up our new car, Pedro reached out to make sure we were happy with our purchase.The car did end up needing a warranty service so we worked with Bon who went out of his way for us to make sure our concern was being addressed, and ensure the problem would be resolved. Anything we needed, and any questions we asked were answered clearly and honestly.We had a great experience both with our purchase and the service department. We plan on continuing to come here for maintenance, and whenever the time comes again for a new vehicle

Had a great experience with Downtown Ford. I found my wifes dream expedition for a great price off of my credit unions third party car buying program. Once I got there I was greated by Pedro the most genuine salesmen Ive ever dealt with. I own a business and buy a lot of work trucks. Even though most salesmen are nice you can tell its partly an act. When we sat down to talk numbers they informed me that the 3rd party site listed it wrong and that the price quoted was much to low. After Pedro talked with his manager he respectfully honored the price. Ive had issues like this come up before but never have I had a dealership be so hassle free. My wife loves the new expedition and my kids couldnt be any happier. Thanks Downtown Ford you really made a happy customer!

Im a Ford girl and while I live closer to Elk Grove, I went to downtown Ford. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, a week later I noticed the scuff mark on my tire was in the same spot on the car so I called the service adviser (mr. Vang) and he told to come in on monday and when I did he asked me to come back tuesday because they were short handed I said ok came back tuesday and was told it would be about an hour and a half I got angry and drove off. I guess if I had been driving a super-duty instead of a fiesta I would have been treated with more respect

Everything was good until the sales manager got involved(Bill) with the price negotiation. We were asking just under the sales price something that I felt was reasonable and equivalent to what other dealers were offering. Unfortunately, Bill was not having any of this and wanted to sell the car at full sales price. His professionalism and friendliness towards customer-service was non-existent. He was also abrasive and dismissive to any of my questions. He brought up the fact (that is untrue), that they have haggle-free or one-pricing on used cars. I looked on their website, checked other comments about this dealer, and there is nothing about that. I have been to one-price dealerships before, they have notices on their websites and banners in their showrooms in regards to this. He is a liar and I would not trust him with any financial decisions. If I was the boss, I would have fired this individual on the spot. Other than that, the sales person Austin was friendly and understanding. He deserves five stars. I will not do business here because of Bill. As a share-holder of Ford, I expected better. Thank you Bill for turning me off to this dealership and to the Ford motor company.

I called in to see a truck and scheduled a time to see the truck; I went there to see the truck; I spoke with Ali Eslamian on the phone and in person, and unfortunately, he assisted me with the pricing information.We checked the truck together, and I got the MSRP for it. He said he need my drivers license to get the exact price for the truck, and he said he cant provide the exact price without my drivers license even though I don’t need to make finance or leasing(I want to pay with cash or cashier check).I said I already got the MSRP, and that’s all what I needed. If I want to purchase the vehicle, I can provide my drivers license. He said, why I don’t go to my car and get it? I’m suspicious for not showing my driver license. What? I’m suspicious for what? He said he’s selling cars for 24 years, and he found me suspicious for not showing my car drivers license to get the trucks price, and he said do I have a suspended drivers license and am I hiding it? I need to be clear with him. Man, are you in your mind? Why are you saying that kind of weird things to a potential vehicle buyer? and Im a gentle person, I dont say anything weird or rude. Am I asking you for a test driving? No, what I’m asking for? Only the price of the vehicle without tax and DMV fees, and you are saying it’s against the law to provide the MSRP without an ID, you are saying you sell cars for 24 years, but you don’t even know how to talk with a potential customer, harassing the customer with your weird words.I ended up going to a different dealer and got a better deal.

I brought in my car for tail light bulb replacement and ended up with 150,000 miles maintenance . I had a mobile mechanic change the sparkplugs and he wanted to charge me $1000 to replace the gasket cover immediately since he said the sparkplugs were sitting and soaked with engine oil. I was perplexed since my car doesnt have an oil leak. So, when the service advisor, David Hall, recommended the maintenance check I agreed without telling him about the mobile mechanics diagnosis. Ford did the Multi-point inspection and the BG coolant service and they flush the cooling system with gold coolant. They also performed BG Brake fluid to replace old brake fluid, and flushed brake system All. The whole thing cost $337.78, a third of what the mobile mechanic wanted to charge me to replace the gasket cover. My car is a 12 year old Focus. The multi point inspection of fluids, systems/components and battery performance were all green which means checked and OK at this time.

I really had a bad experience with this company, last week I tried to make an online purchase which they canceled because my IP address does not match an address in the United States, understanding this I called directly their customer service to explain my situation and to find a way they can help me solve this out. One of their agents, Fernando Enríques answered me, he explained me that the only way to make the purchase was through Paypal and directly with someone who made it in the USA so I decided to do it through a relative(my uncle) who lives in the United States, he followed all the steps that they indicated with the PayPal and address specifications, the order was placed but I never received a response or an email notifying about the status, I even called directly and they left me waiting for more than 20 minutes, when they finally answered me, their response was, Better “find another website”, we can’t do nothing for you.

Continually had to take my car back to them to finish repairs they never completed. Missed several days of work that were unpaid because of this. Bon Vang told me he was going to take care of me, and that he would handle everything, check and double check the whole process but that is not even close to what happened. Now, because after bringing my car to them twice to fix the repairs that are are still not done, I have to miss additional work because they lack attention to detail. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I was driving my car when it basically stopped running. I decided to drop it off at Downtown Ford and they helped me out right away. David was super helpful and communicative. I greatly appreciated how he made good use of my warranties and made sure absolutely everything was checked, repaired, and taken care of before I picked it back up. It was great that instead of automatically just charging me for what work needed to be done he looked into any and all warranties or recalls that were available to make sure the repairs were as painless and affordable as possible. They even pay for your Lyft back home so you can leave your car there and be on your way. Its hard to find this great of customer service at a dealership now days and I would 100% recommend!

I brought my car in after moving from the east coast for my general service check for 15000 miles. I spoke with Bon while scheduling my appointment, which was very easy. Once I arrived, he met me at my car with a mask and then set up a Lyft for me to go back to work. We just leased a 2017 Ford C Max Energi from Downtown Ford Sales and were very happy with our experience. I usually hate the car dealer experience, especially on a busy weekend, but Ira did not divide his attention and he stayed with us through entire process to make it go as smoothly as possible. There was no waiting in limbo. We drove there from the Berkeley area, despite several similar deals available nearer our home, and were glad we did. Ira got us full trade in value on our old car, when no one else could, and we were able to lower our monthly payments overall. It took a day to get the exact color we wanted, but Ira arranged to have the new vehicle delivered right to our home, free of charge, so we wouldnt have to drive back to Sacramento with our toddler. Ira, and everyone else we met there, was friendly, genuine, and aimed to please. Recommend highly!

Well, after decades of using DF for Ford maintenance and repairs, I wont be going back. $1500 later, 8 days(!) in their shop, when all I needed was a new alternator. They didnt do the recall work I asked them to do, didnt look at/repair a low tire, didnt go over the paperwork when I picked it up, didnt wash it. They are using Lyft instead of their shuttle, and I waited 2 hrs for a ride home on the Monday morning when I dropped it off; finally had to call a family member to pick me up. It needs new tires (I just found out, after calling them about the low-again tire), recall work, and 90k service. I will be taking it anywhere but here for these.

Terrible customer service at the Service Center. They had my car in the shop for 9 days... 9!!! And they didnt provide me a loaner car or rental. The person David who helped me only called me twice the entire 9 days with updates and was not very helpful. I just cant imagine what took 9 days to fix. Will never return.
