Went there for the first time on recommendation of my friend as I had a slow leak in my cars tire.Team is really professional and friendly Kyle on the front desk help me throughout the process. He really helped me get my tire fixed on priority.Though their team was really busy but they all were doing their work as fast as they could hes still got my tire fixed on priority.The free coffee available in the waiting lounge was all I need to relax and wait until my car gets fixed. Really appreciate their entire team I asked Kyle if I can take pictures for the Google review and he happily said yes.No wonder that they have all such good reviews on Google its all because of their hard work and dedication. More power to you guys keep on doing the good work.And not to forget the prices are really competitive and to fix a leak they dont plug it they do patch which is far better than plug-in and reliable.

Had no my oil changed at this location last year, and seemed like a good place.Recently I asked for a quote for my 4x4 Tundra, to change radiator fluid, transmission fluid, engine oil, transfer case oil, and front and rear differentials oil.Great quote I thought, that was until I took truck in, only rear differential was included in quote, and not front differential or transfer case!!!!Tech told me that the owner was one who wrote up quote.Not even an attempt to make it right.Lost my business that day!

Ive never had a visit here that didnt take 2 hours or more. They are busy to the point of having no parking spaces left. So, maybe thats enough to explain the time it takes to get any thing done here. Other than that Ive never had any issues with the work they have done.

The guy at the front told me it would be $30 to patch a tire, but free if it only needed air. An hour and half later and they give me my car back. The guy says $30. I asked him which tire and he was being super dismissive. When I asked him if it was a nail, without even looking at me or my paper, he said yeah. I asked to see the nail and when he spoke to the technician they said that they dont have a nail because it didnt need a patch. He said I couldnt read what was written on the paper as if not taking the initiative to ask someone what the invoice says is supposed to justify charging me for a service I didnt even need. Im already super skeptical about bringing my car in as I face much discrimination for being a woman, and I believe this place was doing the same exact thing to me.

Started going here because I moved nearby. Third time Ive had to wait 4-5 hours for work done. Not coming back. I could drive 30 mins to the Big O I used to go to and still be done sooner than this one. Gave no estimated wait, no communication on updates. Good luck

After getting the runaround at the Big O Tires in Elk Grove who denied me warranty replacement of a 3 month old Interstate battery that was defective, went to this Big O on Folsom Blvd. They took a look at the GMC dealers battery test results and without hesitation replaced my defective battery under warranty. Big difference between the shady business practice at Elk Grove Big O and Sacramento Big O on Folsom Blvd who take good care of their customers. I recommend Big O Tires on Folsom Blvd. Avoid Big O in Elk Gove!!

I definitely would not recommend this place. My husband called there to get two new tires on our RV. We needed them to change the tires from the front to the back an the new ones to the front. They did know that it is an RV and which work needed to be done. They made us an offer for $ 270. So we decided to change the tires there. But when we showed up there the next day they wanted to charge us $ 450. They claimed that they didn’t know that it is an RV and that is more work than they expected. This is ridiculous! We told them exactly what needs to be done.One of their employers made a mistake and told us a cheaper price. Which is not our fault. But we still had to pay for that mistake. They used the fact that we needed to change them immediately. I wouldn’t recommend the place. If they make a mistake they have to deal with the consequences and definitely not the customer! This is real rip-off!!

Would have been 5 stars even though there was a little bit of a wait, I am patient person why it wasnt 5 is because they forgot I was keeping one of my tires and the guy at the desk wrote it down on the paperwork but still someone forgot and I didnt remember until I got home other than that great service

Service was great and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I was told the cost up front and that was great. The only issue was the tires I had mounted and balanced were mounted the wrong side out, which was probably more my fault for not being more specific. Ill just have to fork out more money to have them turned around. Overall I was very satisfied with the service.

Im pretty happy with their service. I was in and out for tire replacement and an alignment. Off course thats what happens when you go early. I would suggest bringing your own chair due to limited space to sit outside.

Great service! however, my alignment was off right after and need to take it back for second adjustment.Im changing the experience to 5 stars. Its all my fault that I indicated that the car was leaning over to the right. Turn out its the strong wind that cause it. The windy die down later and I dont have the problem anymore on my way home from work . Sorry. I like to comment the fact that Big O noted my review and reply to my post here. I had just replaced my windshield wipers two weeks before coming and had an oil change; when they examined my car they told me I needed to change my windshield wipers and oil. I know I had not driven my car enough to need another oil change and the wipers were brand new so I felt I couldnt trust their word. Also, I was told an approximate time when my car would be ready but never received a notification to give me updates. I called an hour and a half later after the time I was given and still had to wait two more hours until my car was ready for pick up. I would have at least appreciated a call to notify me that my car would be ready later than expected.

I came here from the dealership to get a full set of wheels and my rear brake shoes done. The dealership quoted me about $900. I left Big O Tires after $299 for my tire replacements-and turns out my brake shoes were fine!These guys are honest. They wont try to get a sale on parts you dont need. Instead, theyll give you a great deal while being friendly and timely. I will absolutely come back here.

I only give 2 stars because I have been a customer there in the past and liked them. The most recent visit was a joke. The man at the counter was condescending, immature, and acted as if the job of being present was an irritation. There was a woman in the waiting room who told me she had been there for 2 hours when it was supposed to be a half an hour job. When she asked the man why she was waiting so long he had this fake questioning voice, I dont know why have you been here for so long? I was wondering that too, let me go check and then he came back and told her that the guys broke something on her wheel and were replacing it and thats why it was taking so long. Nobody bothered to tell her, and they did not offer any compensation to make up for it. I had a lot of questions because I was on a very tight budget and I needed to have safe tires to travel up north and help my family who were being evacuated from the Carr fire and he couldnt answer any of them and he couldnt give a s*** less about anything I had to say. He just kept trying to up sale me. Also since then my car feels like it is drifting all over the road. I definitely wont go back there. Ive been a loyal customer for a while and that guy successfully lost one.

I took the time to set up an online appointment. When I got to the location on my appointment date and time I had to re-answer the questions I already submitted online, and they informed me they no longer had my tire in stock. So what is the point of doing anything online? My online estimate was also 100s of dollars less than what I paid when I walked out. Overall, the actual work to my vehicle seems fine, but the rest of the experience will be the reason I take my business elsewhere next time.

Your Big O store on Folsom Blvd made what could have been a horrible day, a bearable day! :) They went above and beyond in helping get a new tire on my car that was stranded down the road at the gas station. The guys were so pleasant and helpful. I have nothing but 5 star reviews for your store and your staff. Great experience!

Big O missed a ruptured battery even after they conducted a diagnosis.Story:My battery died, I jumped my car, and the check engine light turned on. I called Big O and they conducted a battery/alternator/starter diagnostic and told me that everything was fine, showing me the test results. Unfortunately they did not inspect the battery and notice that the battery had ruptured. Very disappointed in the quality of service and thoroughness of the care.

This location provides the best customer service and prices in the area. They are always quick and efficient, even though they are extremely busy most weekdays. They also stand by their quotes and product/service warranty. I have been coming to this location for tires and servicing for several years and have always been happy with my visit/purchases.

Ive gone here for years and years, and cannot imagine finding a better place for tires. Their customer service is exemplary. Ive sat there listening to them, wishing everyone treated each other with such kindness and respect. They are also very expedient, and if they cannot be they tell you honestly. As a woman, I know how rare it is to be respected by those working on my car, and this is a huge part of why I return. I recommend calling for an appointment, if you can, as their greatness makes them busy. However, I was in and out in 25 minutes this evening when a giant screw wound up in my tire on the way home. Definitely award them with your business!

Called for a quote on four tires, dropped off car the following day, went on errands, and 5 hours later they came to my house to pick me up. Got an upgrade on tires because of an inventory issue, same price no problems out the door. Great experience

All customers are not treated equallyMy Wife call to make an appointment for tire rotation she was informed that they do not take appointments, its 1st come 1st served basis. She arrived when the doors 1st open at 7:30 and was informed that her car would be ready by 10 oclock because there were other appointments ahead of her. By the grace of God the appointment ahead of her canceled and they were able to get her completed at 8:30. Thanks 4 reading

Very disappointed the service was mediocre at best. And for a simple nail in my tire charged $30. If I had thought the tire would have made it I would have went to Les swab or American Tire where they would have fixed it for free. Next time I will drive past big O and hope for the best, I will use my road side assistance to tow me past big O tires.

Had an appointment for 10 am. Arrived at 9:50... AND STOOD THERE FOR 20 MINUTES WHILE NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGED THE FACT THAT I WAS EVEN THERE! Just as I was about to walk out a lady took my information and key and said it would take about an hour to an hour and a half for tires and alignment and theyd be done.Cool! We left the truck with them and walked out the door at 10:15. Went on down to Starbucks and then walked around for an hour and fifteen minutes and headed back to the shop. This is when the drama continued.....As we were walking in, an hour and a half later they were JUST TAKING THE TIRES OFF THE TRUCK. Great.... More waiting. As I walked in, no one acknowledged me again, so I grabbed the first person I saw. Mike threw his papers on his stand, exclaimed, Let me stop what Im doing so I can find out about what *you* need!Thank you! I replied with a smile, and he stood there laughing like an idiot. He went to go ask what was going on and he said that they were just very busy that day.... Even though I had an appointment they were taking walk-ins before me.Anyway, three hours total for tires and an alignment. I was told one and a half.... It took double because they put me in line behind walk-ins even though I had an appointment and I had already waited two days for that. We have to take everyone in order of arrival. What is the point of making and waiting for an appointment, then? I make an appointment for 10am, wait two days for that appointment, show up EARLY for that appointment, you put my truck on the rack at 10am. Not an hour and a half later after your walk-ins that showed up who knows knows when....

I spoke with the service advisor, Chase, before coming in for an alignment. I had a mechanical question, and although he didnt know the answer, he took the time to go ask one of the mechanics and get back to me. I always appreciate when someone says, I dont know, but let me ask someone who does, rather than giving me inaccurate information. Thats good customer service.When I came in, I was seen promptly, and my car was finished much sooner than I expected (I was amazed because they seemed really busy). Overall, this seems like a well managed place that I wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

I am very unhappy with my most recent visit to this store. I purchase a whole new set of 4 tires and have already had to return with my tire light on 3 times and still feel very uneasy about what they did to my vehicle and plan to take it to Honda next week to make sure everything is okay since the poor job Big O did.

They are super friendly here. Fairly quick and did a great job squeezing me in earlier than my scheduled appt. They get really busy here so that was definitely a plus for me! They dont make you feel like youre being robbed for your money, they dont do shady service and I will continue to come here for my vehicle services and repairs.

Not the best customer service off the top. They were finished with my oil change quickly, however they were very sloppy. They spilled oil and let it leak and ruined the filter. They let my oil guard drag and did not rotate my tires or align them- which I had paid them to do. I will not be returning to this store.

Got a good deal buy 3 get one free! Total price out the door $480.00 but that was labor and alignment the actual price of the tires were $59.00. Now I know getting tires can be pricey but risking your life over cheap tires is not worth it. I actually bought some used tires and my tites were bald😞so here is some really good advise I got start putting some money like 20 dollars a mont or whatever you can towards tires because at some point you are going to need it

Excellent staff, cleanly location, and a waiting area that offers Keurig Coffee for free. Not bad for a tire store. Time quote was perfect as well, coming in just shy of the hour I was given. The location is also close to several restaurants, banks, and a pet supply store. Check Groupon for the BEST deal available for an oil change in Sacramento.

So far theyre fine for my regular oil changes. They give a pretty good deal when you buy a pack of six at a time. But will never have them do anything else to my car. They quoted me over $800 to replace an ignition switch and the Honda dealer did it for $250. Then, a couple months ago, I brought me car to them because the steering wheel had started vibrating back and forth pretty severely. They said it was that the wheels were out of balance and balanced them. The steering wheel continued to vibrate and get worse. I took it back, and the still insisted that the wheels where out of balance. I took it to Les Schwab and they immediately diagnosed the problem as a tire that had separated and was bulging. So Big O is a tire shop first and foremost, and they couldnt even diagnose a bulging tire? Thats pretty bad. Finally, the vibe at this shop isnt the greatest. As Ive waited in their lobby, Ive heard all manner of complaining and negative comments from employees about their vendors, and about Big O itself.

The staff was kind and helpful. Had them do alignment on an Audi and a pickup. Both cars steer so much better now. Waiting room isnt much to brag about so consider walking around the area while you wait.

I was in for a four wheel alignment. They were very courteous and showed me the numbers after. Good people to do business with.

If you want to be treated like an Idiot this is the place to go. Leslie was quite rude. I understand theres a hazard with driving on a bad tire but I do not need to hear it over and over after acknowledging the fact the first time. Money is a bit tight and will take care of it when I can but at another shop. I couldnt even explain the other things I wanted fixed because she was so dead set on repeating herself. I understand safety first but treating a customer like that was unnecessary.

I needed a tire replacement and it was done in under an hour. I was very impressed with the staff both inside and outside of the shop.

Its always pricey with car repairs... so that always bugs me, but they do good work. Have not let me down so far. Ill go back.

I Give this place $5000 for rims and tires, They in turn caused $2000 in damage to my Mercedes. They striped the Lug Bolts on two of the wheels and the hubs and axles had to be replace by the Mercedes dealer. Also they did not balance the tires and that had to be done but they did charge me for it. Driving on the rims with no tires would cause less damage than having work done at big o tire in california. Go to Nevada, it is worth the drive to have much better work done on your vehicle and have it make out of the parking lot.

This place is a RIP off! They add extra fees they dont even tell you about. Cheged me $361 for 2 tires that were only $115 piece.

Ill give credit where its due, theyre fast and get the job done. However I was definitely not happy when I walked to pick up my car and I saw one of the employees revving my car and stressing out the engine, jerking the car around to hear the sound from the exhaust, and then peel out in the parking lot using my BRAND NEW TIRES that I paid for. When I walked inside to ask one of the employees why they were misusing my vehicle and damaging the new tires I paid for, the employee went to talk to the mechanic (I presume) and tell him that I saw those events take place. I spent nearly $500 and as a college student, that is really not easy to come up with on the spot for a car job. I also was never apologized to, compensated, or even had the events acknowledged. Extremely unhappy.

Took my car in today for grinding noise when brakes were pressed. They said my break mechanisms were fine, but rear pads needed to be cleaned. So I did that. Went home with the grinding noise still present AND all of a sudden my e-brake wont engage!!!? (It worked today when I parked it in their dang parking lot to drop my car off- and which happens to be directly related to the rear break mechanisms that just needed to be cleaned). Took it in with them saying no major problems existing, came out with grinding sound still present AND a new problem! Called twice and no one picked up, ended up leaving a message (an hour before they closed). So frustrating.

Employee audibly made fun of customers in front of other customers. Employee seemed annoyed at the request for tire repair 2 hours before close. Willingly gave me quote for new tires but i took my business elsewhere after their comments toward others.

Its all about service.I mean, thats why you take your car to someplace, right? Plus, if youre like me, it doesnt matter what kind of junk heap your car is. You cant just take it anywhere, it has to be someplace you can trust them not to mess it up and not tack on another couple hundred dollars in repairs.Thats why I come here (as well as get the rest of my family/friends). Been doing so for about 5 years now, and I dont see any reason to change.Service is fast, and while cheap is basically an unrealistic dream in the world of auto-work, Id say that theyre reasonable with their pricing.Tires, brakes, shocks, fluids...just about anything except for some transmission work I needed last year, I get it here.They get the 5 star because theyve got the good service, theyve taken care of my cars, and they have good warranty on their work (plus free tire rotating if you get your tires there).Now, dont let the rating fool you, it hasnt been perfect every time. Ive had them screw up a fuel line job they did on my sisters Bug about 2 years ago...that was just a disaster. I called them, feeling pretty damn angry, and really ready to vent. What do they do? Paid for the car to be towed to their place, fixed the problem (properly this time), and gave me a discount on the next several visits there.Hey, no place can be perfect, but as long as they fix their mistakes it really sets them apart from other places Ive had to deal with in Sac.So heres this review for others out there. I find this place trustworthy, and I think you can too.

I took my car in to get an oil change, new brake pads and 2 new tires; each of those task should only take 15 minutes, I know this because I often do it my self. When I took it in I was assured it would only take one hour to one hour and a half. I was there for 3 hours.

Im torn between giving this place a 3 or 4 star rating, but I decided on a 4 star because (1) Ive been to far worse places, (2) they price match, even if its not from a well-known tire or service place, and (3) they work fast. But working fast might be their downfall. I recently had to bring my car back to replace a faulty tire I bought here and after they were done, I noticed that the tire pressure sensor light was still on. They assured me that it would go off on its own, but after a day I took it to Les Schwab and was told that each tire had a different pressure in it, which likely meant the tire pressure wasnt checked after the one tire was replaced.

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They were rude and felt they didnt need to explain anything to me. I am a professional business woman, however, tires are not my strongest area. Yes, I had a lot of questions. Yes, I did my research to try and get the best deal. When I brought in my research they still tried to up sale me on tires I didnt want or need. When I gave my opinion or asked questions I was responded to with such disrespect. I will NEVER go to this location ever again.
