Sergio is a fantastic cobbler. He lovingly repaired and resoled my thrashed cowboy boots at a great price and short turnaround. He even repaired, at no charge, a manufacturer’s defect in the heel a year after the repair. I cannot more highly recommend a shoe repair shop than his. He is fantastic.

I needed to get my boots fixed and Sergio did an amazing job! I entered nervously because I brought in my favorite pair of shoes and I didn’t know what to expect. At first the price was expensive but reasonable and understandable when I saw the final product. The wait time for me was about a month which was pretty fast for the work he had to do. I highly recommend Sergios shop. I prefer to spend money to repair shoes instead of fast fashion that fills landfills. He resoled my boots perfectly! You would never tell that one of the soles was practically hanging off when taking them in. He also repaired the little buckle straps that had broken. He matched the material perfectly. I had taken heels in to get new tips before this project. I first went here upon my friends suggestion. Great overall experiences!

This is my first time coming here and I needed a hole added to my Gucci belt. I was iffy about going anywhere because of how expensive the belt was and I didn’t want it to be ruined but Sergio did an amazing job. You can’t even tell the difference between the hole he did and the ones that were already there. He has very reasonable pricing. He responded with the first call and said bring it in no problem. He did it in less then 5 minutes. He is also very very nice and friendly to his customers. Would definitely recommend to anyone. 5 stars all the way.

Sergio applied topys to 4 boots of mine. I dropped off a pair of YSL jodpurs, a pair of Guidis, and two pairs of Aldens that all had leather soles. He was incredibly informative and explained to me what sort of topys I should consider, but wasnt pushy at all. The rates were very reasonable relative to some of the other options in town and his turnaround a time was amazing - 24 hrs. Overall Im a very happy customer and I would highly recommend him to anyone for shoe work!Just some general information of my experience. Sergio walked me through different types of vibram topys and recommended thin ones for my relatively lightly used shoes. The topys were applied evenly and fell flush with the overall shape of my shoes. The heel was also done well for my pair of Guidis, however it was just a tad rough around the edges, but overall not a big deal. I paid upfront and received a call from Sergio when they were ready. We engaged over his counter where he currently has a hard, plastic barrier for maintaining social distancing. He even helped me to my car to load up all the shoes too!

Mr. Sergo did a wonderful work withe my shoes, the pink shoes are what I did in his shop, the soles color is good, that margin between original sole and new sole is very smooth. The side of the shoes are also smooth. Price is also nice. Mr. Sergo called me ASAP when he done. It took about 10 days, but its excellent!!!! Those black shoes are what I did in other shops repair shop. They hurt my original shoes sole, left a deep scratch on it. And the new shoes soles color is not matching the side, so they color it by hand and also smear the color on the surface. The margin are also harsh. For the comparison, Sergio shoe repair done really good job. They are both cost $25, bur Sergio made way more better than the others.choose him!!

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences here, Sergio is a master. He has worked on many pairs of my Louboutin’s doing various repairs, fixing heel caps, and putting red Vibram soles to help with traction and wearability. He has also done work to re sole sandals, boots, and reheeled boots of mine as well. He has also worked to repair several leather items such as purses and travel bags for me as well. Don’t waste your time or money going anywhere else. 14/10 recommend.

Years ago I lost track of Sergio when his shop moved from the K Street Mall to the current location. I ended up taking my shoes elsewhere to get repaired and boy did that pair suffer.I was on the hunt for yet another repair place when I found Sergios business again. Ive been taking my shoes to Sergio for 10+ years. Hes done simple jobs like replacing the heel tips on my shoes to more complicated jobs like cutting down a really high heel to a height that was easier to walk in. Ive taken so many of my favorite pairs (theyve been worn to death) to him for various repairs and the quality is always top notch.

By far the absolute best shoe and leather repair in Sacramento! Sergios decades of experience as a shoemaker shows in the quality of his workmanship. I saw some of the work he has done in a stage production And it blew me away. I have been a loyal customer ever since.

I brought my carry-on bag in to have some rips sewn back up. Not only did Sergio repair the rips, he also fixed the handle at no additional charge. I waited only a few days for the work to be done; he called me as hed promised he would; and he remembered exactly who I was and what Id brought in to be fixed even though hed only seen me once before. Plus, hes a really nice and interesting person. Ill definitely go back!

Before meeting him at his shop in the Capitol Mall, I was using other shoe repair services typically getting shoe repairs looking funny and paying the price for a new pair of shoes, I could buy at Nordstrom rack. The situation changed with Sergio - he repaired several pairs of shoes for my whole family, replaced the zippers for our bags to name a few. What is different between him and others beside his master ship and attention to detail is that he has always suggested and done things that would make the shoes look like new whether special dye, cleaner or polish or the type of sole that would make my Italian shoes feel more comfortable.I highly recommend Sergio for the accuracy and quality of work, delivery, and for his good sense of humor and politeness as well.

Sergio is the best shoe repair person ever! Im so happy that he has his own shop and his name on the sign! Sergio has done everything from putting heel guards on all my shoes to keep them from wearing down to putting brand new heels on boots and making leather handles for an airplane carry-on bag. Absolutely best place to get your shoes repaired. Quality of materials used and the workmanship is top notch. I had my heel caps done two years ago and they still look like new. I go there all the time since they are close to my work. The prices are totally reasonable and they are always willing to work with you if you need an expedite service. Dont look any further, they are a hidden gem in the Sacramento downtown area.

The Shop Owner is very honest when I left him my Tory Burchs shoe for repair. Each shoe had different problems when I consult with him and he will give me his honest opinion. It turns out one is fixable and one is not.The one he fixed is very well done and the price is very reasonable.

Sergio does quality work. I took a pair of my husbands boots to re-glue the soles and Sergio repaired and polished them so they look like new.

Sergio went above and beyond in repairing my dress boots, which I took in to have resoled. I was given his name by a coworker who had gone to him to have several pairs of shoes repaired. She told me that he usually has a backup, so the repair could take 2-3 weeks, but I was prepared for this (TLDR at the bottom of review)I first went in to ask about prices. I was wearing my boots at the time, and Sergio quoted them at a half-sole and heel for $58. When I returned with the boots to leave with him, he informed me, upon closer inspection, that they would require a full resolve, as the middle of the sole was covered by a piece of cosmetic leather. He was up front that the price would be $68 instead, which I appreciated, as I’ve had experiences where I am quoted a price only to find it changed when it comes time to pay. I told him that was fine, paid, and left the boots to be resoled, with the understanding he would call when the work was done (about 2-3 weeks).Two weeks later, on a Thursday, I returned to purchase some odor spray that my partner had requested I pick up. I mentioned that I was looking forward to my restored boots, to which he responded by pointing at his workstation and asking, “which boots? These boots?”I told him yes, those were my boots, and he said they’d be ready the next day by lunch. Come lunchtime next day, I received a call that my boots were done. i went in to pick them up and not only had Sergio resoled them with treaded, Vibram soles, but he also:1. Replaced the midsole2. Sewed both soles to the base of the boot where previously the sewing had been cosmetic3. Polished them4. Applied water protectant to both the leather and suede5. And replaced the lacesI received these boots as a gift and the work Sergio put into them is going to make them last an extremely long time. Should I have any future shoe repair needs, I will be returning to Sergio without a doubt.TL:DR: I only paid for a resole but Sergio completely restored my boots from the ground up. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking to have new life put into their shoes.

Obviously I am unhappy, so Ill provide context:I had taken a pair of my wifes shoes here previously for heel cap replacements. Sergo did a wonderful job and it took about a week before they were ready. So when she needed caps replaced on a pair of her boots, I dropped them off with an expectation that it would probably be a week or so before they were done. No big deal. I was told that it would be about a week and a half until they were ready and would be called. This was Monday, February 25th.Monday, March 11th comes around and I havent heard, so I call in to check: No, theyre not done but well call you when they are. No, I dont know when they might be done. Okay.. 2 weeks for a simple job.. my wife needs her shoes back and I know this shop is -always- overwhelmed/busy, so I decide to retrieve them and just go somewhere else. No big deal, again. Im not even upset - Just trying to take care of an errand.I drop in on my lunch break later that day and ask for the shoes. Sergo is there by himself and tells me that theyre not done when I ask for the shoes. Still not upset, I explain that its okay but Id just like to take them anyway. He tells me that I cant have my money back because Erin isnt in the shop at the moment. Im still not even remotely upset and tell him thats fine, Im not worried about the money. Just need the shoes, please. Hes growing irritated now and then tells me that he doesnt know where they are. He looks through a box of shoes near the front counter for about a minute and then says he doesnt have time to look for them. He tells me that Ill be called later when Erin is back. Ok, Im not happy but I leave.I return after I get off work, hoping to just pick them up since Sergo said that Erin would be back after 2pm. Its 5:20pm when I walk up. Theyve already closed the shop. If youre so busy, why are you closing earlier than your posted hours?The next day, lunch hour again, still no call. I drop in, wait a few minutes for Sergo to finish helping two other customers and then ask for the boots. Ah! Theyre done! I wasnt expecting that, but who doesnt like good news? After he hands them to me, he makes a comment about how they would have called me when they were done, reminds me that hes very busy and then remarks that I should have been more patient.At this point, two more customers are waiting in line behind me. I feel embarrassed and frustrated overall. Why get into a funky verbal conflict with one customer in front of other customers when I was happy to have the shoes back and was about to walk out? Look, we all have bad days and I definitely understand what its like to be overwhelmed at work and I DEFINITELY dont go out of my way to be one of those customers.. but cut me some slack, please. I didnt start this, YOU did. I would have happily walked away without my money and no repair work done. I was thrilled that the work actually did get done (and looked nice!) and then I get shamed in front of other people? Okay...SO: My wife has her boots back... and there are now TWO slices in the sides of the leather shafts. One on each boot. Ive posted the pics below. This isnt wear and tear. This wasnt there prior to them being dropped off for repair. I dont even know how it happened but am guessing it has to do with whatever they were mounted on while the caps were replaced.So... 2+ weeks for a simple job, actively rude interactions AND damaged shoes.Hire an apprentice? Give customers realistic timelines that you can actually meet? Dont damage customers shoes during the repair process? I love having more work than I can handle by myself. That means theres business to be had and money to be made! Im exceptionally disappointed, here.Sorry for all the details, but I felt like it was worth sharing.

Rubber heel cap fell off on the way in to work this am so I took shoes to this store at lunch. The owner asked me when I wanted them and I said, “can I wait?” He rudely responded that he could not do it while I wait and that it could take up to a month!” I told him I would just take to the shop by My house who had previously replaced the heel cap while I waited. He replied that anyone who can do this while you wait must not do a very good job! I could not believe how rude and condescending he was. Hoping he was just having an off day...

Was very informative about the procedure of repair and maintenance of the type of material of my boots. The only shop I know of to have a state/county contract to repair foote hare for our local fire & police dept. I work for a landscape co. & this one man shop did an acceptional job replacing the soles of my boots regardless of the condition of the boot itself. Our shoe repairman takes pride in his work. I will continue to visit this location !!!

Called Erin about a same-day repair of suede pumps. Every other cobbler responded that a same-day repair on suede wasnt possible, but somehow Erin made it happen in an hour!
