My second year with these machines! bought 2 Machines, was sent to South America only to find 1 not working at all .I ended up calling a electrician to find the power problem.MADE IN U.S.A? MORE LIKE CHINA absolutely no help from manufacturer or compensation after spending 20,k.Looking into the problem the electrician found plyers left in the machine and wires loose, barley connected. Happy to add photos for anyone to see and a list of emails dealing with customer service.

The trays are made from plastic. Your foods will taste like plastic!

I ordered a 9 tray dehydrator back in August 2020 and, within the return window, emailed every available email address and filled in every available form online to try to get an RMA number and return it. Ive continued emailing and calling, and its now December. Their phones have not worked and no one has replied to my email. The dehydrator is completely unused. I didnt even take it out of the box.Just a simple reply saying theyll honor the return in a few months or whenever they get up and running again would be helpful, but Ive heard nothing. This is very disappointing.

I love my new dehydrator, but shipping is super slow and they have zero communication. I called and emailed several times to see when my dehydrator would arrive and didnt get a single response back from them. It finally arrived a month and 3 days after we ordered it, and the warehouse is only a few miles from our house.

I have a 3900 model and it’s an absolute workhorse. This thing is probably 15 years old. To have a machine that can run for hours at a time, at that age, and not break down is impressive. However, last week I noticed that it wasn’t blowing hot air any more. The fan was working, but the heating element was out. I removed the back panel and was amazed to see how simple it was back there. I called the company and immediately found myself speaking directly to a customer service agent. No automated phone tree and I have to say, it was really nice. The conversation was concise and pleasant. They sent the parts I needed directly to me and included some easy to follow installation instructions. We’re up and running again. Happy this company is in business.

You can’t purchase a better dehydrator for home use than the Excalibur Dehydrator. I got the big one with 9 trays which dehydrates a hell of a lot of food— excellent beef jerky at high temperatures & cayenne peppers at a low temp to preserve the flavors and essences. Dehydrated lots of nuts, seeds & have used 2 machines until I’ve worn them out—probably over 10 years for each of them—now I need another machine because the motor is sounding tired. Not surprising after 30+ years of use. What other machine can you brag this well about??? Excalibur even had a mill kit to grind grain that still works great!To all of you who put bad reviews for this company—you don’t know or understand the hardships that CoVid 19 has put on everyone!!!I live in Alabama, but plan to go to the company some time in the future (in Sacramento)to purchase a new unit.How can you give a bad review fir an item you don’t even have??

Ordered a dehydrator over 2 months ago and still no emails about when/if it will be shipped, tried to reach out to the company 5 times to no avail, had to bring the issue up with Better Business Bureau to even get a refund. Complete waste of time, DO NOT PURCHASE FORM THIS LOCATION

I would put negative stars if I can. Terrible company. I ordered May 30. This is expensive product, and they shipped without requiring signature. Shows shipped 05Jun. I contact right away on Jun 5 saying I didnt get it. Company did not respond until now 23JULY. Terrible company. This is NOT how you treat your customer. Did not respond to email I sent weekly inquiring status ORDER 12208-EXC-WEB. So this is my only course of action is to put a bad review on Yelp.7/31/2020I wanted to update that after coming to Yelp, then I copied this posting into Facebook Messenger, and finally got a respond back. Today I received a refund. So it is unfortunate that Fedex didnt deliver and maybe it is the delivery issues (this is 2nd issue with Fedex for me on another delivery), but Excalibur came through and refund. I appreciate their honoring doing business and taking care of customers. So now I cannot really say whether it is a good product or not, but in general as a company they honored the lost

I placed an order with them, and then canceled it because shipment wasnt going to happen for a few weeks. It was to be a gift, and their ship date was too far away. I called to cancel the order, the representative said it was canceled and I would receive a refund. I asked for a cancelation confirmation, she said there wasnt such a thing, but assured me it would be refunded. WEEKS later I get a shipment confirmation email that my item has shipped - Check the bank account, sure enough they never refunded anything. Now I have logistics to deal with. I am disputing the charges with the bank. Do Not Buy From Them.

Cheap products and cheap company. Make temps unload trailers items over 90lbs for only $11.00 and will let you go.
