I dont even know where to begin. Thought I would give this place a shot and went in with the simple intention of receiving an estimate/quote for a repair (exterior mirror) I needed done. DOUG, the OWNER, was extremely unpleasant to deal with and left me with the most vile taste in my mouth. Not only did he seem to get angry when I said I needed to call my father (it was his vehicle) to confirm some things, and was astonished I said I wanted to get another opinion and might take it over to a different shop. He talked down to me, made me feel uncomfortable, and essentially, tried to take advantage of me because I came in as a young girl. If I would have come in with my father or even my boyfriend, Doug would not have acted the way he did, I can promise you that. I am appalled ANYONE would give this establishment their money, time, or energy. Doug, if you are reading this - Please seek help. And also, pull up your pants, the entire time I could see your crack. I wanted to give you my business but you shoved it in my face and now you are left with a plethora of negative reviews. I will be warning everyone I know to not step foot in this place. An absolute garbage experience.

My girlfriend went into this joke of a facility looking to get repairs on a broken mirror and was helped by Doug Ziegenbein. Not only did Doug do nothing to help us but also provided us with the worst customer service experience we have ever dealt with. Doug is extremely rude, talks down to his customers, and acts like the customer owes HIM something. I cannot express enough that no one should be doing business with this place. Doug is extremely greedy and rude and laughed in my girlfriends face after he made her cry due to his complete lack of professionalism. I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. Our experience with this establishment is clearly a reoccurring situation with a quick look through other customers comments and reviews. I know Doug and Dent Eliminators couldnt care less about their customers based on their cut and paste replies to negative comments. Extremely disappointed with Doug and our experience with Dent Eliminators.

Can I cuss on this forum? OK, I will keep it clean, but this guy needs to retire and get an ego adjustment! He did more damage to my car by scraping some paint off that I now have to repair. He ignored it and did not offer to fix it. He said he got some of the dent out, but I see no difference...except for the scrape, or whatever caused the paint to crack!At first I was able to take his attitude as a joke - to see the charm in his crankiness. But, this time, he was insufferable.He said hed charge me $50 and proceeded to write $75, until I stopped him. He would not go through my insurance claim either. Do not tell me you can do something if you will not!

Ive been working with Doug for a few years now, hes incredible. He is able to get out some very nasty dents and dings, for reasonable prices. His detailing is top notch and always goes the extra mile, honest and fair priced. Definitely my go guy for detailing and paintless dent removable.

Doug is a miracle worker ! Very honest and very hard-working and very fair. I bent my bumper and fender, and would have paid thousands to have them replaced at a dealership body shop because nobody fixes anything anymore. Doug spent an hour of his time and charged me relatively nothing compared to what this would cost elsewhere. He is incredible! He is also very knowledgeable. Although he initially comes off as grumpy, he is downright charming, and Your car will not care and you will save yourself potentially thousands of dollars. I have not used them twice and could not recommend someone more

Terrible - this guy has a truly unique attitude. Did more damage to my car than when I brought it in for a minor dent repair. Now I have to take my car to a body shop for paint etc. No offer to make things right either. Avoid this place.

I couldn’t be happier Dent Eliminators!I was rear ended at a stoplight and was not looking forward to dealing with a collision shop or the cost of repairs. Thankfully a friend recommended this local business.Doug is honest, doesn’t try to add on unnecessary services, and doesn’t gouge on prices.I would encourage anyone and everyone to go to him! Horrible... Worst customer experience you can think of... This is a prime example of what NOT to do when running a business. The owner is weird, rude, unapologetic, thinks very highly of himself and his work, doesnt care about what you have to say and so on...And coming to work... went for few minor dents... nothing major changed plus he used some neutral color/polish on the scratch which is popping out - need to put more money before I can return the leased car Visit him at your own risk

I had what appeared to be a scratch about one foot by one foot on the side of my Truck with some small dents that came with it. I went around getting estimates from different places ($500, $900, $1100) Dent Eliminators was able to get it looking brand new for $75. It was a no brainer and would recommend this place to anyone! They know what they are talking about and can get it done cheap!

This man works magic! He eliminated two small dents in the side of my Mustang in approximately a half hours time, and for an amazingly low price. Body shops will charge hundreds of dollars for the job Doug can do for a fraction of the price. Sure, he might be perceived as a bit gruff at first (what great auto mechanic isnt?) but I found him friendly and engaging as he explained his process and even recommended a car cleaning product to me. Doug will be my go-to guy for any other dings life throws my way. Thanks a million Doug!!!

They are very good in terms of cost, only one or two in troy give you that price but could improve on estimates and keeping up communication. W agreed on a price, left our vehicle in their premises and reached our home half our after. Then we get a call saying that the cost is $100 more. So, it would be better if they can record the price that is agreed on. Otherwise, the work they do is perfect.

When I called I thought I need a big paint job after backing into a post. The owner gave me a reasonable price and I took it in. He saw it said I only needed a touch up with black paint. Imagine my surprise when I picked up my car, the paint was repaired and I was only charged $20. Amazing!! A friend told me later that day they had a similar low price experience. Honestly I was so happy.

I just tried taking my vehicle there to get a dent out. It was the most unprofessional experience of my life.. The owner was extremely unpleasant and acted like he didnt want to be bothered. When I mentioned I needed to think about it (after asking some valid questions about the repair process) he laughed in my face and walked off. Horrible customer service and I will never recommend him to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great work ethic. Great work too. Went to see Doug a couple of weeks ago for a dent in my recently purchased Jeep Cherokee. He was very fair on price and even went down on the initial estimate when he wasnt completely satisfied with his work. Nevertheless, he did a great job. I would highly recommend them. Dent Eliminators? More like Dent a Little Less Visible But Still There! Showed up for my pre-scheduled appointment only to be met by the owner who proceeded to go on a loud, long winded rant about how busy he was and how he forgot that I was coming. I offered to come back at a more convenient time FOR HIM but he said he would find time for my work. He pulled my truck in the back and as I sat in the office all I could hear was an F-Bomb laced rant between him and a lady working in back about how busy they were. I went for a walk and returned about 45 minutes later only to hear another loud rant about how the touch up paint I bought didnt come with a brush. And more F-Bombs! Finally my car appeared outside and I did a quick inspection I found one or his tools still stuck to my truck which of course lead to another rant. I quickly went inside to pay just to get away from this trainwreck. As I was paying another customer showed up which lead to, you guessed it, another rant! Im a Car Guy and I know good work from bad work and what I ended with was bad. Of my five small dings four are still visible and no surprise the touch up paint looks like it was finger painted. Caveat Emptor!

If youre turning in your car right away his work could pass inspection. However if its beyond a few days the truth of his magic comes out. I stopped in this morning, a few months since his work and he was not only belligerent but said when asked if his work (citing a few long scratches) is temporary, yeah, and I dont have any time today to fix anything -- sorry. All while shruggin his shoulders, turning his back and walking into his smokey office. Ultimately the guy is a raging ass. I tried to see the good in him in a previous review but hes a bully. Ive a soft spot for owner operators because I am one as well. He did though repair a golf ball sized hole and that repair stayed looking good. WHY? Well he sent that work out to a neighboring bump shop.Id highly suggest if youre looking to get stuff repaired prior to a lease turn in - talk with your salesman. There is always someone they know personally that does the same sort of repair work and from what I am gathering for considerably less.Id have given him 2 stars if he wasnt such a nasty human being.Ill refer him to people I don’t like!!

After reading other reviews, Im a little appalled. Sure, the owner isnt the most customer service oriented person Ive met. But, he is fair in price and in repairs. Hes like most other humans on the planet; if youre pleasant with him, he will be pleasant back. What more can you expect from a repair shop?My experience was very pleasant. He gave me a reasonable quote on a large dent that took up the majority of my rear drivers-side door. The repair did not involve paint, just popping out the dent. He had the repair completed within an hour and when I picked it up he asked me point-blank if I was satisfied with it. He also was friendly while writing up my receipt.Im likely to recommend him to other people and return if my vehicle needs more cosmetic repairs.

I took my car in to have scratches removed and a dented bumper repaired. Doug the, owner, not only gave me a reasonable price he agreed to store my car for six days ( which included repair time) while I was out of town. The work is impeccable and customer service is great.

Ive been bringing my cars to Doug for over 25 years. He does an excellent job at a very reasonable price. Usually the dents are rather small but on two occasions they were large dents. When hes finished with dents--large or small --the panel looks like new.Other friends who saw the quality work that Doug did on my car decided to bring their car to Doug and they were very satisfied.I found Doug very businesslike, professional and respectful.

After i read the comments here i have to add something here:Doug is definitely not the chattiest guy, BUT when it comes to price and quality of the work i was very satisfied with his work.Somebody hit the back corner of my car pretty bad and it started to rust. It needed to be repainted there as well.My trunk door started to rust at several spots. Mostly from the inside.He filled all the rust spots and got the trunk door repainted as well.In the beginning he quoted me for $870.Somehow they paint it, so it is not necessary to paint the complete piece (complete trunk door), only that part where it is needed.What is pretty impressive with a metallic paint.It looks like new now.He even went down a $100 in the end from the original quote.In my opinion you cant get a lot cheaper than that, just if you know somebody who does those things privately.

I called Doug on a Friday afternoon to fix a few small door dings in my passenger door. He told me to bring my car in a few hours later. I took my car in and he removed the dings in minutes, and charged a very reasonable fee for his services. I highly recommend Doug and Dent Eliminators.

I was looking to have some minor repairs done without having to make an insurance claim for my lease turn in. A co-worker had some work done there, and suggested I give Doug a try. Yes, I read some of the other reviews. However, my experience was completely positive. When I stopped in to get an estimate, he gave me a fair price. When I brought my car in to have the work done, I was told it would take 3 or 4 days. In the end, it only took 2 days. I could not be happier about the results and the price. Hopefully, I wont need his services again, but I would recommend Dent Eliminators to any of my friends or family looking to have similar work done at a reasonable price.

I brought my car here to get a recent door ding pulled out, and Doug did an excellent job. Dented my car on the rear passenger door right on the body line. Took it to a body shop and was told they weren’t sure what they would be able to do with it. Took it to Doug that same afternoon at dent eliminators and he literally made it look as if it never happened within 15 minutes. Amazing.

Before I could have the opportunity to get in for an estimate, I called to get a price range for fixing a few dents. He is a sow! No respect, just an animal. Very rude! unprofessional is understatement. Im not sure how he is still in business! He gave me a pretty high price after a friend of mine had just been there (and warned me about this animal) and paid a lot less.When I told him this, his initial reaction was, Im not lying, it could be a bit less and then proceeds to tell me, gas prices went up today. ??!!!??? Where does that play a role with removing a dent?Anyhow, I decided to not go there. There are plenty of decent people who will be happy to fix my dents for the right price.

The owner is excellent. He cleaned up the dent on the side fender of my car which looks like brand new again!He is a very nice guy and very friendly. He talked about some less than perfect comments here and I could totally understand him - He usually go to work early and work hard; he has already had around 10- 20 visitors by 10:30 am in that morning - most of them came for an estimate and gone; his work got constantly interrupted- he wanted to do a good job to fix the dents and sometimes couldnt response/reply like right the second.For me, In the end, most important thing is to get the dent cleaned! So technically, this guy is perfect; and he is definitely friendly when he gets time. I was completely satisfied by his work! I was so happy that I used his service.

Update: so the owner replied to my comment. He said they dont intentionally overcharge customers so they must just do it by accident I call BS on that because my quote was done off the top of this guys head and he wrote it on the back of a business card ...Nothing says under-the-table job like writing a quote on the back of a business card 10 seconds after looking at my car I dont care how long youve been in the business a clipboard and maybe some information on the computer or some kind of labor hours something detailing what $1,000 is being charged for would have been helpful so yeah Im pretty sure they dont intentionally overcharge people but they definitely overcharge people!!!False advertisement, I called and told him how bad my dents were. He confidently said not only can he fix it for under $100 but it would only take 1hr. So I agreed and set up the appointment. Sure I arrived late but within 10 seconds of seeing my door panel my $100 paintless dent removal turned into over a $1000 quote for a pull and paint which I can get anywhere. He then proceeded to brag about similar pull and paint jobs he got from other suckers...well Im not one of them and will get multiple quotes before being taken by this shark.

Excellent work! Fixed a few dents on my Escalade and his work was flawless!! Couldnt even tell where the dents were after he was done. Very friendly guy! Fair and honest prices.. Will recommend him to everyone. I am sure I will be back.Brought my Escalade back to them on 6-13-18 for some more dent repairs and an exterior detail. Once again it was flawless!!!! Took out two years of kid scratches and dings...for someone to be able to detail a black vehicle without any swirl marks is impressive. Looks like it just rolled off the assembly line... Came at 3:50 on a Monday and the doors were already locked. They should change their closing time to earlier or at least post a sign on the door. I came out of my way to get an estimate because this place was recommended to me, but I will be taking my money elsewhere.

I recently went there and had him take out 5-6 dents (one pretty big and messy one)and detail my car. They did an excellent job and the price was VERY fair. About what you would pay for a great detail job alone actually.This guy is a little different personality and has a ton of experience. I dont think he suffers fools well. Hes not a marketing guy - hes a craftsman. If you just come in and ask him to do what he does and charge what he charges (trust his expertise) then you will likely have a great experience. IMHO

If there is zero stars thats what I will choose. This guy the owner has been described in these reviews as rude and unprofessional. Well rude and unprofessional is not all and is not a complete description of his personality and attitude. He is also obnoxious, abrupt, no manners and on and on. Not sure how this guy stays in business. There are many places around the area that do the same job for the same price professionally. Stay away from this place. You will regret doing business with him.

Doug was so accommodating and helpful! I got estimates from three different places and they gave the best deal and in the least time. Doug ordered and pre painted my fender for me and called me to bring in the car when it was convenient for me. Brought my car in this morning and by the time I got off work it was done and waiting for me! Beautiful work my fender looks amazing! So pleased with dent eliminators and dougs help! Nobody even thought to offer to prepaint my fender without my car sitting there for days. Thats the way to do business in & out!

And that is exactly what he did. I dropped it off the night before and picked it up the next day at noon.The car looks brand new! Deep, rich paint and cystal clear headlights.Totally worth the cost. The owner takes pride in his work, does a good job to improving or solving your problems, and he is conversational while doing it. His rates are exceptionally low, and you will be happy with your choice for dings and worse.
