I have been doing bussines here since my first car, so 13 years. Couple of weeks ago I went to get all 4 of my tires replaced and like always great Sercive! Today I wanted to change my struts and I wasnt able to, all of the lugs are stripped. I saw the guy who replaced them hammer a socket into every single lug. I called today and Jhony answered and I explained the situation, he quickly cut me off and told me that the company was not responsible for stripped lugs and said that the manager wasnt around. As today im stuck with my car with a damaged strut. And i have no way to remove all of the stripped lugs. Now I have to pay $15 per lug to be removed plus new lugs. I also told my brother who I recommended him to this place before and he said he had the same experience reason why he now doest trust my recommendations. So as today, this place is trash to me since they cant stand up for their mistake of using a hammer to remove lugs that I had just replaced when bought the car.

Excellent service! My wife pulled in to get the tire pressure checked on her vehicle because the Low Tire indicator came on indicating the right rear tire was extremely low.She was promptly greeted by the manager who was genuinely interested in assisting her. She asked if someone could check the pressure in that tire. He had her pull into one of the bays and another gentleman not only checked that tire but checked all of the tires and filled them all to the proper levels! She offered to pay them, however, they said it was not necessary and to have a great day! When it comes time to replace our tires we will definitely be back! I highly recommend!

Had 4 new tires installed on my truck which was done pretty quick and did a good job balancing them. Was hoping to get the front end aligned at same time but the alignment machine was broke down. It was a fair price for the work performed.

Was In the area for work and found both my tires out. Thank God I solved good reviews of this place, I took the chance and with in 20min thet got me two good condition used tires for $60 and was on my way.

It took too long to get somebody to fix my tire but I got my tire fixed

I have never had a single bad experience here! I have been able to find so many of the odd sized tires I need in a pinch for my cars. I have a mini cooper that uses a tire that is not the norm, and I called around to a few other shops and everyone else said they did not have one. When I called and spoke to these guys, not only did they have it, but they had it at a great price! ! The service you get is amazing, and I use them often. If you are in need of a used tire, definitely make sure they are on your short list of places to check out. I have not been disappointed yet!

Every time I go get my inspection they help me out very quick. I have been coming here year after year with all my vehicles. Never have had an issues with them. I would recommend them.

I upgraded wheels but they didnt come with TMPS. So I ordered a set from Amazon. Rowlett Discount Tire and Auto installed them, then mount and balance the tires. Drives like a dream and the TMPS signal is showing up on the dash after less than 5 miles.Service was quick and they did everything I asked well.

I had to come back and replace some worn out tires and the owner was very understanding. He helped me get into some better tires at a good price and didnt give me a hard time.

Horrible customer service. They opened late. I had to search and find the wheel lock. If I didnt find it I guess I would be out of luck. I would think a place that specializes in tires would have them available if their customer doesnt.I drove my car in the bay. Then the guy start rolling tires from the bay to the front. He would have continued doing this until I stopped him and told him that I need a simple this replacement. I shouldnt have to wait until he finishes rolling out that big pile of tires. He said he had some workers that dont know what it means to be on time for work. The customer service should not be delayed because his guys cant make it to work on time. Of course after that, he tried to upsell me on buying two tires.He just didnt seem to be courteous or in a good mood. Disappointed because I usually get great service here.

I got to this location at 7:50 they didnt open the doors until 8:10 I didnt get waited on till 8:15. 2 employees showed up at 8:15 and brought breakfast for the group. They decided to have breakfast, once they were done eating they made the decision to finally fix my tire. I am still waiting.

I got 4 new wheels for my bmw, wanted these guys to put my tires that were on my old wheels that were still installed on my car, onto my new wheels and balance everything. The wheels i got had really nice tires, so i opted to keep two of them, so really i needed 2 rubbers swapped, and two tires balanced.They still charged me to balance 4 and swap 2,They also said that it would be cheapest for me to take all of my old rims and tires with me but after I got home and popped my trunk it dawned on me they kept two of the run flat tires that were really nice that were originally on my car.The thing that makes all of this really bad is that 1 of my tires was completely deflated about half a block away from their shop when I was leaving. So I called them in they basically told me anything could have happened in that they werent going to help me out. My card didnt have a Jack inside of it so I literally had to get my car towed from a bout half a block away from their shop. Luckily the tow truck driver showed me that the valve stem wasnt seated properly, so he tightened it up and put air in it but the tire continued to go flat so I took it to Firestone where they showed to me the damage caused from driving it while it was flat.And to top it all off, one of the wheels that i just bought was scratched and gouged, with fresh clean metal flakes still falling off of it.So these guys over charged me, damaged one of my new wheels, kept 2 of my runflat tires, left the valve stem loose, cost me a virtually bran new tire with less than 200 miles on it, refused to help me when I was in a rock throw distance.The most infuriating thing, is that these peoples characters was obvious to me after talking to them for about 5 minutes. I ignored my gut, mainly because discount tire was closed on sunday, and ntb & Firestone were too booked up to get to a full tire/wheel swap.Avoid this place like the plague.

The staff is knowledgeable, and friendly. They dont try to sell you something thats not needed and the prices are fair. They promised to have my car ready by 8 am the next day but had it ready later the same day. Ill be returning as long as Im living in the area, the work is good and the prices are fairThanks guys!!

Buyer beware. Nothing is ever actually In Stock. The Discount Tire website will list a great number of their tires as In Stock. In my case, 37 different tires. However, one must read the fine print. To Discount Tire, In Stock actually means, we can order it and it will be here in a few days. Where I come from, thats called a LIE. A lie designed to trick customers into thinking they can actually go get new tires TODAY. A lie designed to convince customers to start the buying process in hopes they will continue once they realize their tires wont actually be replaced for a few days. But a lie nonetheless.

You cant beat their prices. Seriously! Get your tires changed here and you will wonder if every other place you have gone to has been ripping you off. Its not as clean and pretty as the chain stores but its a mechanic shop that gives you an honest and straight answer.

My granddaughter hit a curb and needed her tire replaced. Discount tire and Rowlett is now my favorite tire store! They remove the tire, found an appropriate replacement, and I could not believe the cost! They are on Lakeview Parkway in Rowlett, near the corner of Dalrock and 66. If you ever need a tire replaced, I would drive a distance to see them. They were fast, kind, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else for the cost!

I went there today for an oil change and an inspection. Wasn’t expecting them to tell me that my front tires were too worn and wouldn’t pass expection, I mean I knew they would need to be replaced soon I just didn’t realize that factored into passing or failing the state inspection. So the man who I believe was the manager saw I was stressed about having to buy 2 new tires and offered the option of putting used tires on for way cheaper. So I decided to go with that option for now. The tech was not really apart of the conversation, he just heard the manager tell him I wanted the tires and then do the inspection. Well time to check out and the manager guy was right there beside the tech as he told me my total bill. It was way higher than I calculated. The tech started explaining the costs of each job done, and he said he put the brand new tires on my car. I told him that’s not the option that I chose, I only wanted used for now. Poor guy he already looked exhausted cause they were busy. The manager sent him back out to change the tires to the used ones, and he said he would find the best used ones and he apologized sincerely for the mistake. I thought the customer service was very very good. That poor tech had to do extra work, but I appreciated their service, even after the mistake.

These guys have good reliable customer service. Prices are good whether you’re getting a tire patched or buying new or used tires. They will get you in and out very quickly. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended

These guys are great. I got four used tires today there Michelin they got a lot of tread left on them for $40 each. I think thats a good deal especially if youre a single woman. I feel very comfortable going there I dont even treated with respect and courtesy

Used tires last for months

Beware of this place: Took a tire there to get a patch while waiting for them to get to the tire it miraculously got a slash in the sidewall which is unrepairable , then they offer for a new or used tire ! I put air in the tire the night before and there was a leak not a gash in the tire!

Rowlett Discount Tire is a great place for your tire and maintenance needs. They do inspections, oil changes, alignments and other services as well as tires. I was able to get the oil changed and tires rotated on mine and my wifes cars while we ate breakfast at Dalrock Diner on a Sunday morning. The employees are courteous and they work fast and hard.

2nd tire in less than a year Ive had patched. Each time they were incredibly fast and efficient and charged me only $10. Fast efficient and affordable, I highly recommend

Good place and great prices. The workers there work so there is not an attendant inside, you need to approach someone in the bay. When I was there I saw people walk in then walk out and leave. I still will go there for my tires and alignments, you just have to approach the workers, there all cool and respectful.

My girlfriend had two popped tires due to hitting a curb. She had no spare but was one block from this shop. We came in ten minutes before closing and the owner said he could help us. It was no problem. They loaded up two replacements and fixed her vehicle in the parking lot a block away. Cant say enough great things about their helpfulness and customer service! A++++ all around!

I couldnt find my jack to change my spare tire out for my regular tire that I got fixed. I called these guys and asked if they could take just a few minutes to put the tire on and they said they could do it for just $5. The guys were very quick and friendly. 1. The last time I got tires here, they intentionally put the wrong size tires on my car rather than telling me that they didnt have my cars size in stock.2. They have no set prices. They vary from customer to customer, and prices often fluctuate for reasons that seem soley dependent on their mood.It is *not* different quotes from different employees. Its the same person giving different prices for the same tires.The only reason I *ever* came here was because there is almost never a wait for service, and its very obvious why that is.

Had a blowout literally a block away and was grateful to see their sign. Employee said it would be a minute to get me checked in and assisted. 20 mins later still no assistance even though no customers were there. Service has to suck if Id rather drive 4 miles on my rims to your competitors than spend a $1 with you. Too many top notch companies in the area to patronize a poorly run place like this

I had 2 used tires and only needed them put on my car they charged me $45 but when i buy a tire from them its only $35 now how does that make sense??? Way over charged just to get tires put on my car that i already owned....Never again also bad customer service!!!!

This place is great!Really good selection of new and used tires. I got 4 used tires with about 40K miles left on the tires ( all the tires matched),oil change and a state inspection for $200.00! Try finding that at some other shop!

After coming here many times in order to spare myself a few extra dollars, Ive come to the conclusion that some of the people here have no idea what the hell they are doing.Im no mechanic myself, but when I go to one to get stuff done on my car, I expect them to know what they are talking about. I had one man who told me to go to a muffler shop to check my fuel system being too rich. After seeing said muffler shop, they said they had no idea why that guy sent me to them. Also, the same man said my car was being tracked via GPS by someone.I have no idea what the hell is going on at this place, but there was one guy, more soft-spoken then the rest, who always helped me out and gave me great service. Even did some stuff for me for free. So theyve got that going for them.

Showed up at 820. They open at 8. Crappy attitude. The worst. Was in to get new tires on 2 cars. Walked out.

Be warned this is not a place you want to do business with!!They sold me used tires that were their words (‘Like New’) and that the OWNER guaranteed me three times that I would be happy with or I could return. The next day while driving to Austin, TX to my brother’s funeral my cars ‘Low Tire Pressure’ light came on because the tire went flat. I ended up missing my brother’s funeral! I returned to this tire shop and they replaced this tire without asking me with a different tire that lost air and is out of balance! After 6 trips to this tire shop I went back and had the owner yell at me telling me that I was trying to steal from him and I am not a real man along with many other nasty trash words? Lastly he would not return my keys to me and I ended up having to call the Rowlett Police to get the keys returned back. I am done; they are not worth the heartburn!Go somewhere else and save yourself the troubles!

Oh my gosh. I took my Toyota Prius in for repairs and they are sooo honest they told me nothing was wrong. I thought I had thrown a rod and they explained it was a piece of if someones elses vehicle. It has gotten wedged under my car. No damage was done. Thank you for your honesty!!!!!
