So my husband and I was searching for a place to order a ice cream cake for our son. While searching online we came across curry freeze and we’re so glad we did! First, ordering online was so simple!! Second, the price was very reasonable and last, pick up was a breeze. Great customer service and the ice cream cake was delicious, fresh and the penmanship on the cake was neat. So it was a win for us. Definitely will not be our last time here. It’s a great place to take the family for a day of ice cream as well. Thanks curry freeze for a great experience. We will come back not only for cakes but for ice cream as well. I love how many different flavors they have, and the people there are always really nice. Sometimes wait times can be long but the ice cream makes up for that.

Arrived and was unsure if they were open because the parking lot was empty and the employees were in the back of the store. Another customer pulled up right after...I am happy I was hesitant to leave because it was the best frozen vanilla yogurt I ever had so far...yummm!!! The kids had java cafe & cookie dough ice cream cones. Overall they had a wide variety of flavors and great service...friendly staff. Definitely would recommend and visit again.

Who charges $0.75 for sprinkles or nuts EXTRA on a Sundae and I asked for a soda water they charged me $3.50....Older lady who works there VERY RUDE.... lost me as a customer....

This place has always been top notch. But what theyre doing during COVID has illustrated just how good they are. Just got back from my 2nd trip this Spring and I am so deeply happy they are open and doing well. Try a Hot Fudge Sundae with added Strawberries.... Their Turtle Sundae is amazing but its HUGE! Probably enough for 2 people but Im too chubby to share.

Had to stop by for the end of the year and get the kiddos ice cream she messed up and didnt hear my entire order but we got it corrected and she was very polite. My all time favorite place to go!!!

My favorite ice cream place, been going there since I was a baby. My parents used to bring me and now my husband and I are carrying on the tradition by bringing our kids. And the ice cream cakes are the best Ive ever had!!! We order them for birthdays and for other occasions throughout the season.

I will never ever be back here my daughter and I sat in line for a hour tonight to get ice cream we ran out of the house to make it I left my phone sat in line for a HOUR! To get up front to see I had to call my order in even though at back of building I asked owner if I had to n he said no someone up front to take your order!! I get out tell them I have no phone oh well can’t get ice cream after a hour in line!!! I get home call n talk to owner for him to argue with me at first telling me I was there the night before n go ice cream! Today was the first day going there this year and I can tell you I WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK AGAIN!!!!! I don’t get choc shake with marshmallows sir I get a hot fudge sundae with peanut butter sauce as well but you will never get my business again!!!!!

Cute ice cream store on Curry Road in a nice part of Rotterdam/Schenectady. Awesome milkshake flavours such as oreo or banana. Wait times are usually short but they do killer business during the summer. Would recommend!

This is an iconic and legendary place to get ice cream. While the lines may seem long, they move quickly. The prices are reasonable. They have an extensive menu. They make their own homemade hard ice with flavors like pistachio and many more. They also have soft serve ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, cakes, nachos, hotdogs, and much more.

I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter and it was better than expected & was much more reasonable priced & better tasting than the grocery store, plus I was able to customize the icecream flavors. It is pretty rich, but thats ok!

You can always find some really good food and ice cream here. While the parking is tight and there arent too many places to sit I never walk away feeling disappointed as the staff friendliness always makes up for these little shortfalls.

Every time I’m in NY it’s on my list of places I HAVE to go.I’m 26 years old, from CA & live in TX, but both my moms parents are from upstate NY so we go visit family there at least once a year. When I was 3 my great grandma moved into the apartment complex across the street & our family’s Curry Freeze addiction was born. I got soft serve with the bubble gum blast & rainbow sprinkles and for 22 years and over 100 visits my order hasn’t changed. This is the standard! Homemade hard and soft ice cream, plus dole whip, homemade Italian ices and sherbet. Todays special soft flavor: Mexican Chocolate with cinnamon and a touch of cayenne. It doesnt get any better than this!

Expensive food.

I have been to Curry Freeze a lot and my favorite is the homemade Waffle Cone with Cookie dough ice cream. Their soft serve ice cream is fantastic as well. I will definitely order an ice cream cake for my next party.

I may be a bit biased on this one, however I truly believe Curry Freeze is one of the best in the area. The ice cream is made on premises, and they have a huge flavor selection.Be careful if youre walking there though! Its on a very busy street with limited space for pedestrians.

Curry Freeze is an old favorite. They have Only 8 Ice Cream that is 8 calories per ounce and sugar free, naturally sweetened. The Ice cream both soft and hard is delicious with a large menu of goodies. It has gotten more expensive as the years gone by but worth a stop. everytime we travel through.

Banger ice cream spot. Original creations ( I think). Doughnut ice cream sandwiches covered in dark chocolate. Cake ice cream while not original they come correct with plenty of icing in with the cake flavor. If you appreciate why a sugary supermarket cake holds a place in the desert eschelon you will dig this choice.

Its summertime when Curry Freeze opens. A landmark in Rotterdam this place can be busy in the evening and weekends during the summer. The servers are fast efficient and friendly. Ive never had them mess up an order. They offer soft serve, hard icecream and a big selection of icecream pops.

It is nice having a local hub for ice cream in Rotterdam that does have pretty good ice cream. Only downside that it is a little pricey for anything besides basic cones or soft serve, but that seems like a trend across the Capital District...

I have driven by these guys so many times. I finally decided to stop in and boy am I glad I did! They have homemade hard ice cream. So cool to know a local business is churning out ice cream that tastes absolutely delicious. I also cant wait for my sons next birthday party, he loves ice cream cake and we have been stuck getting them from hannaford. I didnt know there was any local places that did custom ice cream cakes...score!!!
