More TTRPG books than even a dragon could hoard. Enough dice to make the most goblin-y of players happy. An impressive collection of comics and manga. Staff are easy-going and helpful, the store is very clean and organized, and the membership is well worth the cost.

Probably the biggest geek store in the Twin Cities. Their name holds true on being The Source of Comic books, Manga, Board games, card games, and printable miniatures for your tabletop games along with all the materials you need. Staff is always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly!

This has to be one of my favorite places for board games and comics. The staff are respectful and actually play the games or read the comics.

Great selection. As a comic collector and a big gamer i was impressed. Saw a lot of stuff i wanted. I also liked that it had some smaller press games and comics which is always awsome because i like to try less known stuff.

Absolutely astonishing. I love this place! If you like comics and board games this is literally perfect for you. My favorite part is the bundles. I was able to get Munchkin Comics from issue 1 to 7, each comic is 4 dollars. Guess how much the bundle was? TWO DOLLARS. Its a bargain. So amazing I would recommend this place even if you dont like comics. They have statues, dice and even miniatures! Its a place for everything you want out of a nerd store.

Its hard to pick favorites but this is my personal favorite comic shop in the Twin Cities. I would think its impossible to rival their selection of new comics. They put on a show of force every Wednesday, and it is impressive and I always leave with a stack of books. Come check their store out if you are looking to get into or get more comics.

Source Comics and Games is a much-loved local destination for games, game gear, cards, comics, and all things related to analogue enjoyment.I have been coming here since it was a beloved small corner shop down the street, and have watched with the rest of the community as it grew into the impressive space that is acquired years ago from a defunct video rental shop.You would be hard pressed to come here and not find what you are looking for. The selection is extensive, the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the network they maintain outside of the shop itself with sellers, creators, distributors, and more fills any gaps.This is the place to go for all things nerd, though anyone of any lifestyle is welcomed with open arms. 😁

Terrific place. More comics than I imagined exist. Staff are always able to give good recommendations. Local creator section is a plus too.

Cool place to check out and take your kids. They also have some fun non-competitive tournaments for kids too from time to time. :)

Whenever Im in the area I try to stop here and take a look at the games and usually end up picking one up. Good atmosphere, good selection.

Fun experience, sales associate behind the counter was extremely nice. Talked to my son and asked him questions as we were checking out. She obviously enjoyed comics and talking about comics as well. I really like when comic shops have a kids section I can direct my son to and source has a good one. I also found the newest ultra mega, which was supposed to not come out until the next day so thats awesome 😎. My son also found an awesome Sonic you fit just a few dollars which made him happy as well. Will keep coming!

The Source is always a stop for me when I visit the metro area. I live in Brainerd and there isnt much up this way for this type of nerdary. They have a great selection and a knowledgeable staff with decent prices. My only gripe is they are 2 1/2 hours away from me, but I cant really sock them for that haha

Sizeable selection of miniatures, which is why I go. Also loads of supplies for painting minis and running DnD. Ive not explored all their stock, but I see loads of other board games, non-dnd minis, dice, comics, and art supplies.

Source Comics & Games has a great comics selection and friendly staff! Having recently moved to the area, I was really excited to see how large their comics inventory was -- its sorted well and I was able to find some awesome stuff easily. Their staff was also really nice and easy to talk to. Im super excited to go back and definitely recommend them! (:

Source comics in the hub on 66th and nicollet or Hot topic I thought was the name of that store I met with James he is the Pokemon buyer comes in Saturdays between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. they also had a game going in store magic with many competitors that was nice also greeted when I walked in very friendly very courteous very helpful very honest Ill go back thank you James.

My dad used to bring me here for magic tournaments when I was a kid, and it always felt like a endless nerd wonderland to play around in. After moving out of the metro & returning for a visit, Im happy to report that feeling of wonderland doesnt fade into adulthood.decent prices, huge selection, and the kindest staff thats willing to talk your ear off about your nerdy interests. cant wait to come back!

Staff is always welcoming here. The mtg booster selection here is really expansive, spanning back at least 10-15 years. Dayton was really helpful with picking out some new manga as well. Definitely get the membership if you plan on visiting multiple times, it will pay for itself. Well stocked store, great staff.

Looked all over the Minneapolis area for Ultra Pro sleeves for my baseball cards and finally came across them in this store where they had plenty in stock and at much more reasonable prices than anywhere I shopped - Amazon included. Price was.$.99 for a pack of 100. Best price I found on Amazon was $6.49. Store personnel were very cordial and helpful, too.

A friend brought me here in 2013 and they have the most extensive D&D mini inventory Ive ever seen. I wish I was local so I can come back more often.

The source is a great place for everything geeky. I use that word with love not disrespect. From comic books to, gaming, and toys this place has a great inventory. Only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is due to the MSRP pricing on everything. When you can have other stores order the same games for a few bucks cheaper it is hard for me to buy games at full retail from the Source.

It’s never a bad time when you go to Source! Something for every spectrum of nerd. A welcoming, incredibly helpful staff and a VAST selection of fun stuff.

Friendly staff, clean store, the layout is a little confusing if youre not used to it, and the categorization of merch is a little odd but its good place your needy, geeky, gaming goods. Actually a good place for obscure manga, comics, and games. Fun little trinkets line the shelves tempting you to buy.

Excellent selection of games, miniatures and comics.Prices are a little high, and customer service can be inconsistent. Usually if I have a question and it is slow I get quick help and a thoughtful input but if it is busy or they are having a good conversation behind the counter you have to get their attention.I would have loved to check out some of their gaming nights but when I asked after a specific day or time people were in to play they the response was Oh, just come by anytime. People are always playing. If I am going to set aside time to play a game at a place it would be nice to have an idea if anyone would be there and what game I should prepare for.

Source is my go to for board games and card get supplies (sleeves, boxes, etc). The staff are always so helpful and their prices are competitive. My partner and I especially love their rotating supply of mystery box toys, definitely a guilty pleasure of ours :)

Always a good time going to Source. Whether youre into comics, board games, wargames, RPGs, Source probably has what youre looking for. Theyve got lots of space for events too!

My friends and family decided to get back into Magic the Gathering after over a 10 hiatus. But the experience at Source was very unpleasant. They agreesively told us a certain set wasnt on sale yet. Which was okay, I understand the rules, but the over excessive agreesive attitude made me not want to come back. I was a loyal customer decades ago, but this was a terrible experience. How was I supposed to know the new set was not available yet, I was just coming back. I would suggest not to come to Source if you are a casual player, looking to come back to magic. They werent welcoming to folks who were not knowledgeable about the product.

This has been my favorite store since my friend first told me about it about 6 months ago. Their selection is awesome, I regularly go here for manga and pokemon cards. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable as well, I highly recommend this place!

The Source is a Minnesotas center for tabletop games, comics, and card games. The variety and scope of the selection is incredible, and the staff in knowledgeable and always full of great suggestions.

Awesome store. We mostly went there for magic the gathering things. Fill a box (about 400 cards) for $15. They have cool and funny card deck boxes and sleeves as well. They have many many card games, dnd things, nerd things, comic books, some larp weapons, etc. Recommend you at least check this place out for the sake of your inner nerd.

Great place for games, miniatures and supplies, comics and manga. MSRP for everything where some other stores will knock a little of the top, but the trade off is that they have almost everything in stock. Good clearance section too. Also dont sleep in this place when it comes to painting supplies, they have a great selection including Army Painter basing stuff.

We had a blast...we were going to go to a pool but the weather was not good so we called the Source to see what they had going on. We made it their just in time to participate in a Magic tournament. Everyone had a good time!!🤗

The source is very trustworthy which I cannot say about a lot of other card shops! Champions Path released yesterday although I could not get any in time, these guys kept the price honest and fair! They did not hike the price up like the rest of the greedy shops at least more than 10 in the twin cities did this and set the price at $90+ the source kept it at 49.99 and for that I thank you!
