Great service from setting up new service to billing to solving problems. Very happy with Superior.

We changed our water heater to propane and used another company to install it. We already had our dryer and stove using propane but the lines coming into the house were 3/8th which were okay for 2 appliances but when the water heater was added the other company failed to realize that the line would have to be converted to a 1/2 line and it caused major problems. Thanks to Ken (technician) and the rest of the crew, the issues were immediately recognized and brought up to prper specs. If youre looking for a fuel company that is VERY COMPETENT and goes out of their way to cater to your needs, I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU CONTACT SUPERIOR PLUS FOR ALL YOUR FUEL NEEDS. Talking with folks at the office, theyve always been kind. When we receive a refill, theyre so unintrusive we often dont even know theyre there. They also go above and beyond to get to our tank in a manner that isnt destructive to our property. The sensor in the tank and auto refill make it stress free, knowing theyll just come on their own if we need more. And they offer convenient budget options if needed. Have always been happy with our service from Superior Plus Propane!

Lowville Griffith Oil ...Lies about delivery dates and then wants a $65 emergency deliver charge off the top of a heap payment. Sounds like a good racket they have going there. lol

Excellent service theyve always made sure that I had propane I recently asked for them to take out a large old tank in my backyard and they easily replaced it with two smaller ones put on the side of my house Dan and Mitch did a great job they worked quickly answered any questions I had and were very personable

Service used to be great, not sure what happened but propane is never delivered when they say it will be, almost like they want to charge you for an emergency delivery. The price varies each time, the delivery is always 3 or 4 days after the dispatcher says it will be. If the driver finishes today, you will have it today ummm perhaps more trucks in the area that day is the solution! I will definitely be looking into a different service.

This used to be a great company before they got involved with Superior Energy. Their prices are high-shop around youll find a better deal. I did but now I cant get them to come pick up their tank. Ive been trying for a month to get them to pick it up. Finally had to file a complaint with the Department of Public Service.

UPDATE: FIFTEEN WEEKS after I first called for the tank to be removed from my property, a tree fell on it and probably crushed it. 3 days later, they showed up to pick it up. The tree is still on top of it. I laughed at them and told them “go ahead, good luck”.... needless to say, it’s still sitting here. They told me I need to remove the tree and then call them to have it picked up. LIKE I HAVEN’T BEEN ASKING FOR THAT FOR NEARLY 4 MONTHS!!!!!Propane tank gauge failed (reading 20%) and I ran out of propane. Their response was “yeah that happens all the time, they stick”.... I went and bought my own 100# (23gallon) tank and regulator and take it to have it filled at Runnings/Tractor Supply for $1-1.50 cheaper per gallon.Called them 1st week of April and told them to come get their tank. Then again in late May. It’s still in my yard, in my way, ELEVEN WEEKS LATER. They want to charge me to come and get the damn thing, maybe I should charge them storage for it ruining my lawn and being in my way to hang laundry and mow.

The prices they charge are over a $1+more then some of the other places. No reason to for such a price difference when one place is charging 1.99 and you are charging 3.69. Switched and will never use them again.
