I can understand wanting to go home and close but there were still customers being let out and employees present. I knew what I came for (I had had someone find the item for me earlier) and they had a sale guaranteed I was informed I could call next day give my card information over the phone to purchase it (I’m not gonna pay for a expensive watch without trying it on)......I think not And I don’t appreciate being cut off mid sentence to “if you will let me tell you how we can take your money another day.” Reasons like this is why the mall is dead 8pm on a Friday and no one is open I’ll be glad when the whole place goes under and perhaps something useful will be built! Just hopefully not more useless tennis courts

Mount Berry Mall Kay Jewelers are exceptionally caring folks. They were extremely helpful in assisting me find the correct size of earring backs that I had lost. My mother bought the earrings. The thoughts of losing them makes my heart break. I am able to wear my earring with confidence. Thank you Kays.!!

See Leo diamonds at Kays Jewelers. Youll love their sparkle. I love going in and looking in the case at all the diamonds and other jewelry. The employees are friendly and its a good place to visit and shop. I wear two diamond rings that are Leos. They are very beautiful and I get many compliments.

Kay jewelers has stolen our property, we dropped off a ring back in December and paid for a service. Today when we went to retrieve our property with service already paid in full, they refused to give us the ring because we would not wear a mask. I offered to step outside while they brought the ring out and even offered to let them have a security guard bring us the ring outside. We even offered to let them mail it to us. All compromises were refused! The employee was extremely rude and arrogant. We are left with no way to get what we paid for. When we dropped it off, we were not required to wear a mask, otherwise we would not have given it to them for service. I was also denied the ability to speak with a supervisor. This is unacceptable!

I went in the store in Rome bc we were at the mall. I live an hour away and I always have to drive an hour to a Kay location. We live in the middle of 4 of them.I walked in and was not greeted in any way. I stood at the register for at least 10 min. There were three clients in there at the time. Two associates and three clients, including myself. It was fine that they were with other people, but I was never acknowledged. I wanted to know if they had time to service my ring bc they had been closed as a company bc of Covid. It needed cleaning and has to be inspected due to it’s warranty. The guy who finally waited on me gave me a big song and dance about how cleanings/inspections are appt only. They took a lot of heat for being in possession of peoples things while closed. I understood the issue but the cleaning/inspection process takes 15min good and there was NO ONE in there! There was hardly anyone at the mall at all! I confused looked around and asked if he couldn’t squeeze me in while I shopped and he explained it was call ahead only and that they do not keep the ring and you must wait on it. As in same day pickup. I was still puzzled on why he was too busy to do it.Today I called the store we usually visit in Dawsonville and they were deeply confused as to why I was trying to make an appt, The guy said it “only takes like 15min” so we will do it while you wait... ??? I was almost laughing out loud. Exactly what I thought! It’s never a big deal so why is there call ahead appts??? He said they don’t and aren’t doing that. He said come on in and let us take care of it!Kay is only doing a 6mo extension on your warranty time due to Covid so I suggest you people who patron the Rome location get an appt make and get in there quick before all of your warrantees are voided!! Or you could just skip the hassle and go to a different location. I don’t understand why, but the Rome location isn’t in any hurry to sell things nor to give good customer service. Good Luck!

Horrible customer service!!! If you get Susan, run! Rude, incompetent, the list goes on! I will drive the extra 45 minutes to the one in Cartersville after dealing with her the past 3 times. If you do have to go to the Rome location, I’d recommend Kim or Joe .

Was there Saturday ( September 26th, 2020) to have my rings inspected as I was in the area. I live a good way away, so I figured I was there the could look at my rings as they have been closed due to COVID. Well, the lady was rude and said we needed an appointment. Also, her tone of voice with us about wearing masks was not pleasant either did not ask us to put one on, kind of had the tone of a demand. Said my kids needed one, but I have had many qualified doctors tell me under ten my kids do not need to wear one. I would have put one on if she was nice about everything, but she was not. Also, I was a meter if not more away from others, and there should be signs saying you must have an appointment. She also was not helping anyone, so I have no idea what her role there was.

I’m very disappointed with my purchases. My Grandson went into the Marines for basic training in November. He ordered engraved bracelets for his 2 little girls for me to give as Christmas gifts from him. Supposed to be in November 22. Found out weren’t even sent off. Okay, promised again to get them to me before Christmas. Again, nothing, claimed engraving machine broken and would be after Christmas. Will see!! Haven’t told grandson yet. Don’t want him upset. Ugh. Hopefully I’ll get satisfaction will check with them tomorrow.

Had to wait about 10 minutes to be waited on, because they were so busy. But when our time came the young girl was was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She helped us and was very kind, efficient, professional & sweet. She told us all about the new things in the kind of chain I was wanting. And it being adjustable but not having to use an extender. And the price on my chain and necklace were marked down more than it was showing, so that was an AMAZING surprise. She was very kind and did not rush us. I would refer my family & friends to Kay Jewelers. We had a Great experience with this young lady. Great Job to this lady.

I have dealt with just about every member of the staff in this store over the past 3 weeks when I casually walked into the store and found a ring that I absolutely fell in love with.Crissy is amazing. She was so sweet and patient with me when we were first talking about what it was that I wanted.Joe and Katie were extra helpful when my ring came back from the service center - even taking extra time to locate my ring.Then I found that I needed to size my ring down half a size and went in tonight to talk to Sandy about having that done and ended up buying a matching band because it was on sale. I had planned to buy the band later, but when Sandy pointed out to me that the ring was on sale (saving me $150) ... I took advantage of that.I love the people here. Theyre just so super friendly and helpful!

The wonderful staff at the location in Rome GA, Riverbend Mall, were extremely helpful in creating an original just for me ring using my grandmothers diamonds from her ring, my husbands birthstone and my deceased daughter birthstone. A heirloom that will be forever cherished.

I brought my engagement ring in to be resized. My fiancé bought it at another kay jewelers with the extended warranty plan to cover sizing. This location sent my ring off to be fixed. It took over 2 weeks to come back. When I got it I was just glad to have it back. After I got home (I don’t live near Rome) I looked at it closely and the band was awful. Whoever stretched the ring did not do a good job. It was thin and misshapen...it only had to go up 1/2 size. When we went to another location this week to look at wedding bands the sales associate was horrified that you guys would allow such awful work....the other location is now sending my ring off again to be fixed correctly which includes adding more gold to the current band. It’s a shame you guys didn’t do it right the first time and I’m going anther 2 weeks without my ring. 😡

Disliked my visit February 5th 2017... Ill never go in there again... There is always 1 or 2 rude sales ladies in there... I had the worst experience ever today! My brother wanted me to go and make a payment for him on his fiance ring which he had to work and doesnt get off until 7pm aND the mall closes at 6pm....well I waited almost 20 minutes for someone to help me then along comes the rude lady saying she could help me keep in mind I had his bill and identification number and she says that she could not allow me to make a payment! Really I understand if I was trying to buy something but to make a payment really!?! Ill never ever go to the Kays Jewelry in Mount Berry Mall in Rome Ga. Again!

I have now taken my ring back 3 times to get the small diamonds replaced. The first time 1 stone was just loose. The second time 1 diamond fell out. Now this third time 3 diamonds fell out. Each time I take it in more diamonds fall out! Almost all the staff are rude and not helpful, want to pass the blame. This last girl that took my ring in said she would email the managers boss. Well its been over 2 weeks now and Ive heard nothing from the higher ups. I will never buy another piece of jewelry from Kay. Worst and worst jeweler around.
