This place is full of crooks. Sold me a truck, told them it needed an alignment, they said they did one. Wasn’t right so I was gonna take it to someone else. However, I took it back to them. They told me truck wouldn’t even fit on the alignment rack they had!! So they had to send it off, which they did. Drove fine for 10 days or so…starting pulling to one side again. In shop now, something is wrong with the front end. Not saying they should of known that but they for sure should of made it right, after they said they fixed it. Would not recommend.

Bought a truck from them. Was told it would be ready Tuesday. By Thursday I was told Monday next week. Well its Monday and they told me today they dont know when it will be ready but not anytime soon. I told them when I was looking at the trucks I needed a reliable truck asap because my current truck isnt reliable. Was not expecting to have to wait 2 weeks or more to receive my truck.

They have the worst customer service of any dealership I have ever visited. I purchased my 2017 Ram from them a few years ago, and wanted to stay loyal so I scheduled a test drive for a 2021 Ram. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed that the manager’s daughter took the truck and he was not going to make her bring it back. Then they tried selling me a used 2020 Ram, which I considered until they told me to call the bank I wanted to finance it through. I asked the salesperson, “what is the finance manager’s job?” I left the dealership and went to a different one in Atlanta and got the truck I wanted. I have tried to get in touch with the finance manager for two weeks now concerning my GAP refund and he will not return my calls. I advise everyone not to deal with University Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

The absolute worst service dept I have ever dealt with. They have not been truthful with me, they have not called me back as promised, they have pulled the mechanic off of my vehicle to work on others, and have had my vehicle for 9 weeks. All their actions are completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I’ve been here twice for services done to my Jeep and I am a pleased with their customer service courtesy they carry. I’m a woman and although I might not know all the parts of the car, I like to know what is being done to it. They don’t mind giving you full details on services being render. Super shady. If you’re are looking to get the car you saw online and spoke on the phone about with the dealers, then this is not the place for you.we drove 45 minutes to this place to look at a specific truck on the website. My mother asked before that they call or text her if there was any problem before we made the drive. She also had an appointment set up at 10am so they had time to call.As soon as we pull up all of the dealers are standing outside waiting. We come in and the first thing they say is that they put it up on the lift late last night and that the truck was no good. He then continued to go on about how my mother would be better off to finance a much more expensive vehicle. She told him numerous times that was not what she was there for but he still continued to tell her about how financing for this expensive truck, that she didn’t want, was a better option.Do yourself a favor and go to a better part of town.

My grandson took his truck into this shop for a factory recall. When he picked up the truck they had charged him 375.00 for an oil change and did not do the recall. They did not tell him this. He discovered it in a single line at the bottom of the invoice that it had not been done. Would recommend you stay away from this company.

I have put 1000 miles on the Jeep Cherokee I purchased from them about 1 month ago and it has been nothing but junk. The check engine light came on on the way home with it. The airbag light came on. The autostart has malfunctioned and now the traction control light is on and the steering is tight, and to top it all off the headlights will randomly go out!!! Biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased.

Service here was awful. I made an appointment, and it still took 1hr and 45 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. At worst this should be an hour. As a technician I understand unforseen issues but you should at least keep the customer informed. I do not recommend going here.

Just bought my dream car from the Englishman, Ray Maplethorpe. I had contacted him before with my must have list. No hurry to buy, and I knew exactly what I wanted. He never pressured me, (didnt make those annoying daily calls and texts). He kept in touch, then let me know when he had exactly what I wanted. Usually dealing with those in retail can become uncomfortable within moments of starting the conversation, especially when you are new to the process of the purchase. This was not the case with Shawn.The very first phone call was easy going and very informative, He was understanding of our situation assuring us that even with a tight budget, that he could still help us. He also gave a clear idea of what to expect for when we arrived, and was even willing to work with a reschedule.The morning of the appointment, our family of four (we have two young children) was met by Mike and Shawn and led to a small area where we answered all the usual questions and Mike walked us through on what to do with our previous car (sold to the dealership and added as part of the down payment), we were asked to wait for a short time and while we were waiting Shawn actually spoke with my boys and even showed the small collection of toys he had on display in his area The boys were so happy with the gift of balloons, too.. We signed paperwork and received the good news of being accepted by a lender. The car is so much better than what we expected, and its so pretty. When offered the chance to test drive, seeing that we had not installed the car seats and I do not drive, my husband and I traded off with the kids and Shawn was kind enough to give me a ride when it came to be my turn. The entire process was simple and worry free. Understanding that I do not have a specific deadline for payments (I can split the payments between the first and last half of the month every month) takes a lot of the worry from this endeavor. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE !!!They overcharge on parts and labor.They wanted to charge me $2600 for a cooler for my truck that I was able to buy at another dealership for $900 less.Read the bad reviews. They charged me $200 more on labor than another dealership.

I was very happy the first day. 2day when I went to get the car cleaned and washed. We sat there between 1hour and half to 2 hours. IAM sad to say it should not take long for a clean and wash. When we called we got the the run around between 3 different people . They said that was not bad for a clean up and a wash.

Called ahead of time for a car seen online. They said they still had the car. We drove from Chattanooga TN. We drove for an hour and a half. They didnt have the car we spoke about. They said it had already gone to auction. Yet 2 hours earlier 6 of the same car was available. Im return they brought us a car $9000 out of our price range and said it was all they had.

Jeff was super communicative and made our truck buying experience pleasant...in fact, we did it all via text and email. I recently purchased a new Ram and weve had pleasant experiences so far using this dealership.When I purchased my truck I did not intend on purchasing but the perfect truck for me was already parked out front. We were met by Ray who went to great lengths to make sure we were informed of the many different options that were included on the truck we were looking at. After test driving and deciding to buy Ray and the other members of the dealership made sure we were comfortable through all parts of the process. After purchasing Ray made sure to go over even more features, made sure some of the technology features were activated and that any questions I had were addressed.Weve taken my wifes pacifica to have some warranty repair work done and they were happy to help even though we did not purchase it from them originally. I believe my parents have also purchased their most recent Ram from them as well.

Warning: This is a long review. Strap in and grab some popcorn!Amazing visit! At first we were skeptical as we were shopping around online for a dealer who could fit our budget, especially in these difficult times (pandemic, layoffs, economy, etc...)We found University Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Rome online after putting in calls all over the city and receiving bad news each time. We put in a call to University Chrysler. We spoke to Shawn Evans over the phone first and he was very patient and helpful.A few days later we took our old car in to the mechanic we know and love (and trust!) and they also highly recommend not just University Chrysler but also specifically Shawn Evans, telling us that he was absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure you get the right deal.Shawn was very patient with us, helped us figure out each document item we would potentially need for our appointment, and even pushed our appointment out further (by a whole week due to a family emergency) to give us time to get everything together and to make arrangements with work so we wouldnt miss any work hours. He sent periodic texts during the week to make sure we didnt forget about the appointment.The big day finally came and even though he was not the one who handled our case (that was Mike Allen who was equally patient and understanding---they worked with us as a team), he stayed with us from start to finish and made himself available to answer any and all questions, helped to clarify everything for us, walked me through how to update my insurance through our insurance app online, and helped get us into a car that same day!What we originally thought would be too good to be true turned out to be a surprising reality. We were in and out in about 2-2.5 hours --- and that was with trading in our old car, getting approved for a loan, and having a printer problem (technical issue that extended the time by nearly 20 minutes....the blasted thing just didnt want to print! So sorry, David, thank you for being patient! These things happen! My wife is a golden monkey so electronics tend to break around her.)To top it all off, Shawn had an amazing sense of humor and was wonderful with our kids. Being a fellow nerd/geek, he kept a collection of DC (and Dark Horse) Super Hero collectibles behind his desk and he allowed our kids to play with some of them while we waited.We went in with an unreliable 2008 Hyundai Accent and left with a reliable 2014 Buick Verano. Low monthly payments with the option to refinance after a few payments, and excellent advice on how to build our credit score to eventually own a dream home later on down the road. My wife and I have purchased several vehicles in the past and had the vehicles serviced here as well. My wife calls to schedule an oil change, during the call the service person up sold her several items for a total bill of $ 939.71 with the labor being $536.43, parts $ 225.89 Misc. charge of $ 157.42 on and by the way they now charge every customer $2.99 to keep a record of your service foe seven years. I called to speak with the General manager and left two messages. A week later I cat a call from the person who sold my wife the up sales items. I have no problem paying for services rendered, I do have a issue of them taking advantage of my wife on the phone and convincing her it was necessary on a car that they had done all service on prior. I tried to find a number for the GMs supervisor, could not be found, I searched the Greenway Automotive Group that purchased this location from Bob Williams, all I found was a number to an Orlando dealership and they could not direct me to a corporate office. Looks like no one at the dealership or corporate cares about customer service or answering customers questions.This will be the last time they see any of my money again.

I originally was supposed to meet with Michael Minter but was greeted by John Roper. I drove quite a distance to find exactly what I was looking for. I found it at University CDJ. John showed me the vehicle inside and out and allowed me to make my own decisions about the car. I was impressed.When it came time to talk numbers, John worked tirelessly to ensure I got a great deal. Although we went back and forth for a period of time, we both agreed upon a number that would satisfy the both of us.I appreciate the help that John provided and I left with a good quality car and a full tank of gas. Detailing perfection. Took my brand new 2015 Corolla there to get it detailed and washed. Arrived to pick up my car and it literally looked better than it did a week ago when I bought it. I highly recommend these guys! Make sure you ask for Jarred! One of the best in the business. He leaves nothing untouched. He makes sure everything is PERFECT before you leave. I plan on bringing my other vehicle in as soon as possible.

We went in a little doubtful. We were really certain we wouldnt be leaving with a new car but wed try anyway. Within 30 minutes, Justin told us we were approved AND with an affordable monthly payment! The guys there were all very informative, friendly, and personable. Justin Silvers especially went above and beyond to make us happy! He even offered my whining 12 year old food! Great customer service, great car buying experience. Well never go anywhere else!

Shawn, Randy, and Michael were awesome to work with! It was probably the best overall experience Ive had purchasing a vehicle. I drove over 2 hours not knowing what to expect but the vehicle was just as listed and every bit as nice as the photos online. If I could give less than one star I would. My father bought the vehicle through a Veterans program that included a bumper to bumper warranty. My father has since passed. Today my mother went to leave and her car would not crank. In her mind she has a bumper to bumper warranty, she had the car towed to the dealership to have it repaired. They called and let her know that it was simply the battery and that they had one in stock for $300 plus $129 diagnostic fee. I was able to purchase a battery at Walmart for $50. They were willing to sell the battery for $140 after being questioned about the cost. But she was still charged $129 diagnostic fee and will have to pay the tow bill. They also tried to sell her another $800 worth of repairs that were desperately needed on the vehicle. I recognize that batteries, tires, wiper blades, and the like are not covered in bumper to bumper warranties but most 70 year old widows do not. Not one of the other $800 of desperate repairs is covered under warranty. However they could not produce a copy of the warranty. I was told that its a really good warranty and that if the engine blows up it SHOULD cover it. When I asked how I could see a copy of the warranty, I was given an 800 number to call. I simply told the shop manager that if they could charge the widow of a disabled American war veteran $129 to diagnose a bad battery, especially this close to Memorial Day, then I would pay it. They in good conscience and with absolutely no hesitation charged $129. I have read other bad comments about their service department. I would steer clear of this place. There are many other reputable shops in town that are local, charge reasonable rates, and actually care about the people they serve.
