Friendly and attentive staff. They brought me into the garage to show me things on my car. Clean environment. A little expensive. Rob was Amazing with his customer service!

They got me right in for a alignment and were super careful with my car. They also answered any questions I had these are great people to let work on your vehicle.

So I went and had my all around changed out two months ago and I’ve already ran into a issue with my back rotors so bad I can’t even drive my vehicle when I took it back in (WHICH IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY BOTH PARTS AND LABOR) they tried telling me the labor would be 600$ seems like a quick buck trying to be made from me I might as well buy it myself and hope for the best at this point hopefully my car will actually stop at red lights.

Oil change & inspection went well. Had me in & out in less than an hour. Get an appointment, thats your best play. An unexpected surprise was they apparently require full synthetic oil for newer vehicles (mines a 2017 Kia). That upped the price considerably. Supposed to be able to go 6500 miles between changes now, so there is that.

Untrustworthy. Told my girlfriend she had 2 cat converters. And couldnt point out the second. Not knowing I and her spent numerous hours under her vechile changing diff oil, trans filter, etc. And asked $1600 for a normal muffler and tail pipe swap and cat converter he couldnt find. And there was not 2 cats,which is Calif emissions. NOT...NY emissions.Not to mention. When we questioned, whoever he was. Mgr, man in charge at the time. He ran off leaving his mechanic under the bus.Can I leave half a star. ???

Great service, friendly mechanics. Willing to accommodate for busy schedules, a bit pricey but work has already been reliable. Had changed management a couple times since i starts using them but each one has tried to keep a friendly and knowledgeable and attentive atmosphere. I like them. 👍

I love going here. The guys are fast and extremely nice. I went there for just a simple oil change but it was a great experience. The manager Tony definitely cares for the customers but all the guys that work there are friendly and great at what they do.

I knew my brakes were having issues. I didnt expect them to fail all of a sudden taking my husband to work. Thank goodness Monro was open on a Saturday. They took my truck in, inspected it right away and called me with an estimate. It was fixed that day and is now stopping great. The manager was very nice and personable and even though my truck turned out to need more than just brakes, the price was very reasonable.

Outstanding customer service. Brought my Hyundai Sonata in for an A/C refrigerant check and tire rotation. They were able to get my vehicle exactly on time for my scheduled appointment. The manager carefully walked me through the A/C diagnostic process and possible outcomes, and the technician was efficient in completing the work. I was impressed with the entire experience and very satisfied with the results.

Monro is the BEST place in the area to get your car worked on around. The manager, Anthony is one of the most kindest, knowledgeable, experienced service managers I have ever met. He knows everything and anything there is to know about cars, and his employees are wonderful! Definitely 5 star service!

The place is a joke. I’ll stick to the dealership for tire rotations and quick change for oil changes. Wasted 30 minutes trying to get an oil change for the “assistant manager” to tell me they couldn’t do my oil change because he was too lazy to call the 1-800 number provided by LeasePlan. Leaseplan requires an oil change every 7500 miles. I’m at 15000. That’s a huge loss in business for this place.

Went in for an inspection, very friendly service. I had previously had an oil change done and the service was great then too. Reasonable rates and they even catered to my odd request lol! I will definitely be going back to this place in the future.

I was a walk-in, with no appointment. They fit me in in 20 minutes. An hour later, not only was my oil changed for an excellent price, my tires were rotated, and a rattling heat-shield was tightened down with no extra charge. They even seem to have washed off the winter salt. Basic service thats thorough, fast, *and* cheap is rare. Ill be back.

Good place for a cheap oil change but that is about it! Ever since management has changed they are always try to find something you dont need to charge you for. Always get a second opinion after you come here guaranteed it will be different or cheaper, or both. Its sad that you have to put your trust into companies that will exploit your hard earned money on a necessity like your vehicle just to make an extra buck for themselves!BTW i wouldnt trust all the reviews on here either management told me to leave a positive review so i could get some money off my bill which i never received anyway!!

The guys there are great. They are quick and do a great job! Always have recieved in and out service, at a great price; and I tend to look around to compare prices. There was one time, where my warentee company was taking their sweet time paying them for something they worked on in my truck. The guys were so patient about it. Took a few hours but we got it all taken care of. Thanks guys!!

Just went in for an oil change, and there was a PUDDLE of oil leaking in the driveway the day after. My dad had a look at it and the drain was never fully tightened. Lost a lot of oil, that could have ruined my engine. Used to be a great place to go, but weve had nothing but problems lately. Will definitely be looking elsewhere.

Very poor management. They Have had my car for two weeks. Still havent replaced the parts that are completely covered under warranty. Between them trying to pass the blame onto others and ordering the wrong parts, a two hour job has turned into a two week nightmare with my wife having to be stranded without a car we purchased less than six months ago from Uvanni Motors.( Another terrible place to do business). Between Monro muffler and Uvannis they took a week to get the parts covered that would have only taken an hour had they done their job. If it wasnt for me getting involved and basically holding their hand and making the calls in front of them to the warranty company ( that they said had denied the claim, which they hadnt) I either would still be waiting for verification of the warranty claim or would have had to shell out the money myself.

Love this place and I drive from Oneida (Passing at least 50 other repair shops) just for their service.. Some reviews may complain about paying high prices, or accuse Pete (The Manager) of fattening his pocket. Which is untrue as all Monro employees are paid hourly or salary. No Commission! But if you notice, No one is complaining about their repairs.. So think of it this way; You Get What You Pay For..

Got a Durango from a used car lot, brought it in to have a look over as we knew something wasnt right. Did an oil change and my breaks and rotors in a little over an hour. Great service great people highly recomended.

My sons car broke down on the way to college today (brakes failed going from VT to PA). The brake pads and rotors had just been replaced last month so we were not happy! He had a single rear brake cylinder fail and that caused the fluid to leak. Monro of Rome NY insisted that they had to replace the entire brake job for $750 (even discarding the new pads and drums since they had brake fluid on them). This is, of course, ridiculous. I went to Eastup (down the road one mile), he cleaned the wheel parts, and replaced the bad cylinder for about 15% of what Monro wanted. Honest mechanics who are not mindless parts changers are hard to find these days. I cant give these guys a low enough score (-10 stars).

Ive been going to Monro for many years...I dropped off my wifes seldom used Beetle early Friday morning for an inspection, oil change, and have the brakes bled. I drove by at 2:30 and saw it was in the bay, no problem, Ill call later, if they dont call first. At 4:30 I called to see if it was done, and the manager stated that ALL of the calipers were frozen, and it needed new brakes front and rear! The total would come to $1090! I told them no way, I would be over to pick it up. Needless to say I bled the brakes myself today, and they work like new!! (the front brakes had less than 2000 miles, the rear about 5000) I have worked over 40 years as a machinist, and industrial mechanic, I know what Im doing... I had a car serviced there last October and the service was exceptional, needless to say its run by thieves now, Ill NEVER BE BACK!

I can afford because when you go in there and tell him what you need to have done they tell you that they are short of mechanics there and they have to get you in on a Saturday or Sunday which I think that when you go in there and you should be able to have them work on your car

These guys used to be good when i first took my business there a few years ago but they have gotten much worse. First, their customer service is terrible. They are very rude on the phone. Ive had to take my car there 3 times just to get my brakes fixed because they couldnt do it right the first time which ended up costing me over a grand. Then today it took an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for a simple 5 minute inspection. People who came in much later than me had their cars worked on immediately so i asked the guy why my car was taking forever and he didnt even answer me because i know he forgot about it. Didnt even bother to apologize for the delay. Do not bother with these guys. Im taking my business elsewhere.
