The hands-down, best in-store, retail shopping experience my husband and I have had in years. Kudos to Erin, the salesperson that helped us, actually helped us, yesterday. She was positive, proactive, pleasant, and professional. I wish there were more retail associates that exhibited those traits when helping customers.As far as Gearhead the store: yes they carry products that will cost you more money. The reason the products cost more is because of the quality, high standards and outstanding warranties that come with most of those products. If low cost is the sole factor, then we all know there are plenty of big box stores with low quality merchandise available to choose from in this area.Sometimes you get what you pay for. But you will be hard pressed to find a shopping experience and customer service that compares to what you will encounter at Gearhead in Rogers.

Gearhead carries a wide range of outdoor apparel and gear. Brands are of the more premium variety, equaling premium pricing. Staff is generally friendly and helpful.

We went in today looking for Chacos for the first time. The place was SO busy. Anne Marie was so knowledgeable and helpful. She helped my daughter pick the best pair for her feet, all along with a ton of other people needing her too. She was able to multitask and continue to help everyone who needed her.In all honesty we went in looking to find the correct size and style. Then possibly find them online to order. After the service we received from Anne Marie there was no question we would be purchasing them from her.Thank you for taking your time and truly helping us!

I went into Gearhead Outfitters at the Promenade today to find a pair of Chacos. Im not exactly within the demographic of folks that shop in this store and I had such a positive experience that I had to share immediately. Natalie greeted me immediately and worked with me for about 30 minutes to find the right fit. She was so helpful and friendly. I will recommend this store to everyone I know. Thanks!

Friendly staff. Mostly clothes, and they are the higher end outdoor brands. They squeeze a lot of selection in the size of place they have. One of the best places in town to buy this kind of gear.

Went in to look at some Altra Running Shoes. Although the shoes I intended on buying were not what I expected. I found a pair of Birkenstock shoes that were extremely comfortable. In the end, I ended up buying the Birkenstock shoes not only because of how comfortable they were but also because the sales associate knew his product and was very helpful. Thank you Diego, for knowing your product! Ill definitely be returning in the near future.

Yesterday Kat and another sales associate (didn’t catch her name) worked really hard to help me find the right shoes. Chacos are on sale, but a pair I liked were not in stock there. Kat started making calls to locate them for me while the other gal continued to search my size in case there might be something else I liked. I left with Hokas my foot surgeon suggested and a pair of half price Chacos. These two were relentless with their search on my behalf. It was just before 6 pm, but you would never know they had been working for hours. I was treated like the most important person on the planet. Job well done, Gearhead!! These two are valuable assets to your business!

OOFOS clogs are great! I am on my feet all day. When I get home I slip into my clogs and within minutes my feet are on the road to recovery.

Definately one of my favorite shops on the promenade! Very friendly staff and a nice selection of clothing and shoes geared towards the outdoors. Patagonia, Merrell just to name a couple brands. I got a pair of shoes from this store recently as a gift, but they needed to be replaced because of a factory flaw. Couldnt have been an easier or more positive experience.

Though we didn’t buy anything Mackenzie was a great help. She really went above and beyond to help and even called another location.Overall a good choice of clothes and brands.

Anne Marie, the manager of this location, is the best possible person for her role. Caring for her customer comes naturally, which may seem like no big deal, but as a business owner, I highly appreciate amazing customer service, and shes got it. She introduced me to Chacos two years ago, showed me how to loosen and tighten everything. Basically she taught me why so many people love the brand. Because of her amazing customer service, we came back and purchased a pair for everyone in the family. Two and a half years pass, she sells me some other shoes, then tragedy strikes. The sole of my Chacos split wide open while were roadtripping to Michigan. I come back, show her the shoes, she contacts her rep, and I get a brand spanking new pair at no cost because of the Chacos warranty. She also let me know that Gearhead is based right here in Arkansas. So, shop here, support local, and meet Anne Marie. I promise, you wont regret it.

Went in today to buy my first pair of Chacos, and I was just expecting a simple select and purchase process. Anne Marie greeted me at the door and helped me so much from start to finish. She explained the different types of Chacos, let me try on as many different styles as I wanted, showed me the proper ways to loosen and tighten the straps (whoa!), and was so cheerful and engaging through the whole experience- I mean, she even put the shoes on my feet. She turned a simple purchase into a delightful conversation. I came home and my husband lived my shoes so much, we went back that same night and bought shoes for everyone in the family! Highly recommend, great service, great people, welcoming environment.

Went into today to buy a couple expensive pairs of shoes and was totally ignored. Did not feel welcomed at all. If you can I recommend shopping somewhere else. Get your Chacos and Birkenstocks online.
