Went to Spirit. What a f......g joke. The place had a line outside, they had nothing good left, the staff sucked. So I decided to go to Party City. SO GLAD I WENT. Found 2 great masks and a great black cloak that goes both masks. My son will wear one at school and out with his friends on Halloween night. The staff was nice and no lines. Party City for Halloween stuff for now on. Thanks Party City. Oh ya. Went to Party City last night and bought the twins 2 costumes so they can wear them at daycare tomorrow. So cute.

The store is very clean, and organized all the time. Evelyn is great! Always goes above and beyond to help whenever I am in need, and also gives wonderful advice. She always helps with my orders and have them ready on time always! I have to say her customer service is exceptional, this is always my go to party city no complaints so far!

Went here after a trip to spirit Halloween store. This location knocked my socks off! It had many of the same Halloween decorations at a much cheaper price than spirit. There was a vast array of different convenient items that would make any party a good one!

They gave everything! The best part of sone of the party supplies are organized by color which is nice. I was hosting a Breast Cancer event and needed all pink!

The employees are genuinely nice and helpful, I asked for help with an L.O.L. doll theme and I had everything I needed and paid for in less than 10 minutes without feeling rushed. I apologize for forgetting the most helpful employees name, they have long dark hair, light blue nails (long and pretty), and a wonderful personality/attitude.Having four children means we will be back again in just a few months, glad to know the same helpful employees will still be there.

Horrible management. I was there to buy ballons for my son fir his tenth BD and after twenty minutes of asking fir help someone came very upset. I felt that I had cut her nap short. I asked for two balloons and after another twenty minutes she finally gave me the two balloons. I asked for a string and she said that I have to pay for the strings. I said how am I supposed to take these out without strings. Then she said here are the strings and get out. My son started to cry and I was so upset that I asked to speak to tge store manager. She said as far as you are concerned i am the president. I was stunned and couldn’t believe my ears. I walked outside and had to it this review. This prônant Hispanic who served me was simply the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life. Someone teach her what customer service is.

Its our local party City. Generally speaking, stock is pretty well maintained. Usually, however theres only one staff person at the register. This tends to make for longer wait times during checkout. Not a terrible thing, but an inconvenience if you only need a couple balloons and youre waiting in line for 20 minutes. Overall this is our go-to place which is always in stock and can order online ahead of time. With the exception of the checkout staffing shortage, this place is great.

I am posting a one-star review only because zero stars are not possible.My family and I are looking for sparklers to celebrate New Years Eve. I looked online and found that Party City Rockville had them in stock, according to their own website. I drove down there, looked all up and down every aisle and could not find them. The only employee on duty was working the cash register while simultaneously fielding customer questions, going to retrieve items from high shelves, and other duties. I waited in line until it was my turn, and asked where to find the sparklers. She told me to look in Aisle 6, which I did and still couldnt find them. When I got back to the register and asked again she said they must be sold out.After getting home I looked online again, and found that Party City Rockville indeed had three boxes of sparklers listed in stock. All of the other Party City locations were sold out of that item. I put in an online order for in-store pickup, which supposedly takes 2 hours to fill. I got a confirmation email that they were working on my order, then heard nothing back for 2 days. On Monday I called the store, and were told that they dont carry sparklers because of State and County regulations prohibiting fireworks sales. The person I spoke with (a lowly stockboy in his own words) took the time to find out what happened and explain the status of my order, which I appreciated. He said my order had been cancelled and someone was supposed to call to let me know, but that never happened.I have no idea why the website continues to list a prohibited item as in stock and accept online orders for it. I will never patronize this business again, what a joke of a company.

First time going into a party city. This place was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have everything you need to throw and party and dress up.

Horrible customer experience. Placed order online at 1:30pm for the next available 4pm curbside pickup. I waited outside for curb side pickup for over an hour. Phone to call to say you arrived was busy the entire time. Multiple other curbside pickup customers had the same experience. An Employee finally came outside and I asked about my order. They took my information down but never came back. Another half hour passed and he never returned. With great relatance I went inside and inquired with this employee who couldnt find my order number in the system and made me wait for his manager. The manager finally came out from back room (nose hanging over the top of his mask), and started he couldnt help me or this other couple and said we need to buy the items again!!I ended up asking another employee to give me the first party kit for 8 or more people, bought it and got the heck out of there as it was crowded and other customers inline were crowded together and definitely not 6feet apart.

After 30 minutes of calling and waiting for curbside pickup, I went inside and was told that they were not doing curbside. No one answers the phone and staff is a mess.

Prices are very high, but they have a great selection. This store is not as nice as other Party City locations though.

Went to get balloons blown up for party the next day. Told them to have ready by 11. They said theyd be ready by 9:30. Got there at 11:15, and they werent ready despite 4 emails telling me differently. Husband had to go back, had to wait 45 minutes AND there were approx 8 people in front of him with same issue. Ridiculous.

Online inventory doesnt match the one in store.I checked online and it said there were 17 of the item I was looking to purchase in store. I drove to the store to find out that they were out of stock 😑.

Staff is always so friendly and helpful at this location.

I went to party city to get stuff for my sons first birthday party..Chris the manager was so awesome.He showed me so may things with different colors that matches the theme of the party. I met Joseph during check out, he was wonderful, very polite.My whole experience at this party city was great, i will definately visit again.I love the fact that i could get all my party decoration, cutlery and favors in one store

Good selection of party items, wrapping paper, cups, plates etc., And for the most part you can get everything matching. They even had black wrapping paper, which I was having trouble finding elsewhere. The biggest frustration was probably the customers and their neediness...its a bulk store people, what you see is what you get!

Very happy with their service, especially the associate who greeted me on curbside pick up, I wish I had grabbed her name.

The service and selection at this store is excellent. All of the staff members are knowledgeable about the products and designing whatever type of party supply you need. Its worth the drive from Baltimore.

Balloons are the thing! A huge selection. They could probably use a couple more hands for the Saturday balloon frenzy but super friendly and good service and they work as quickly as they can.

Henry was amazingly helpful. He was so great that i know that I will come back any time I need anything “party” related!

The staff are very helpful and know where exactly where everything is in the store, and if they have something you ask for - which is amazing because there are tens of thousands of items! Its so rare nowadays that staff can help you find anything in a store. The prices are average, not a bargain, but its super convenient and they have a huge variety. Returns are no hassle, as well.

Party City has exactly what you would expect, which can be a rare thing nowadays. Its a big store, with table setting in all colors of the rainbow. Plus during every holiday the store is transformed. Halloween brings tons of costumes and decorations. There are too few dressing rooms to meet the demand. Mylar and traditional balloons in many shapes, plus all letters to create your own display. I needed tiny portion cups and they found them at another store, called to let them know I was coming. Great customer service for a store that sells inexpensive items. Its a go-to place for wedding, birthday and sports team trinkets, too.

I love Party City you can always find what youre looking for at least I do! And save some off my purchases with points!

This is a okay location for Party City on Rockville Pike. Location is convenient but parking can be a challenge sometimes. The store also feels cramped compared to other Party City locations. Staff is helpful when you can find them. I generally walk all the aisles to find what I am looking for - that seems to be faster than trying to find someone to help me out.

Its a bit slow but all the employees here are really nice and try to make it go as quickly as possible. I only go here about once a year but their prices are really competitive and totally worth the slight latency in getting in and out.

Very high risk on bigger-ticket items. The problem is that items from Party City cannot be returned once they have been opened, thus no satisfaction guarantee. Therefore, your entire purchasing decision on costume items has to be based on how it looks on the package, because (A) they prohibit opening packages and/or trying on costume items in the store, and (B) once a package is opened, it is no longer eligible for return. This is fine for most things like party supplies, but for the costume items, it makes purchases high-risk. For instance, if you buy a pirate hat, get home, and try it on just to find out that it doesnt fit, youre stuck with it. I dont take well to overly strict return policies, and this is the case here, and it has negatively affected my willingness to shop here in the future.

You can definitely find everything you need here. The decor is pretty awesome too!

Two girls were trying to help customers around the store while leaving the register and balloon area filled with waiting customers. The manager quickly left the store and displayed ZERO customer service or sense of urgency. He was hiding!

I was put on hold for 10 minutes just for some balloons. Tried calling on a separate number, thought it might be faster, but nobody picked up at all. Thoroughly unacceptable customer service. Party City? More like Hardly City.

Helpful and courteous. Had a rather large order of balloons with specific instructions. They had the balloons ready and prepared for pick up and they followed directions beautifully.

So I called this location, the outing message says please hold and the next available associate will be with you then the love disconnects!

They do curbside pick up, but do not answer the phone, so you have to get out of your car and crowd with other people at the door to give a guy your order number.

Its a smaller party city but the staff is very friendly and helpful. A well kept store. Easy returns as well.

I find what I want

I called party city in Rockville to check if they have the size of my sons Halloween costume because they dont have in Gaithersburg... So I did call 5 times, every time they put me on hold and after 15-20 min waiting on hold I was disconnected. Finally I gave up 😣I am so frustrated and disappointed, dont waist your time and call Party City

If it was possible to rate NO STARS, I would .I planned a surprise 50th birthday for a co worker , ordered online for pick up and inflated.While setting up another co worker went to pick up balloons she arrived and she was told there was no order. She had receipt in hand and they had charged my card full amount.Then they found one of the balloons which was deflated. They told her they were ordered that way although my receipt clearly said INFLATED ORDER READY FOR PICK UP.They never found the other 5 balloons I ordered and we were late with balloons and they didn’t refund her the money and had a never to charge my card again without my permission for the balloons that they found.

Really great staff no matter how busy they are they are kind and try to be as helpful as possible and they have a great selection of different kid themes! Pretty much every cartoon character you can think of

Not impressed by this store. I prefer the one in Gaithersburg. I had to wait 30 minutes in line to pay on a Saturday afternoon. Only one cashier was working.

Horrendous policies and they are majorly lacking in customer service!!Purchased a bunch of large Mylar balloons ($50+ worth!) and one had a hole. Didn’t realize it until hours later in the car as it was nearly deflated. Brought it back to the store to get re-inflated and they refused! They insisted I needed proof of purchase and did not want to go through all the register charges for proof! Instead, said it would cost another $5.99 to re-inflate! Um, WHAT?! These balloons are already $10+ a pop! And I don’t keep receipts!The manager stood there completely useless, watching blankly as I am arguing with the other guy. I had to practically beg for tape to seal the hole in the balloon. So useless...

Has so much!I go here quite often and I never seem to have an issues finding what Im looking for, wheather thatd be hairspray, balloons, candy, invitations, you name it. Overall and amazing place to find celebration things. Prices can be very good too. Occasionally a bit high.

A young lady was very helpful while I was seeking an item (found it for me). The entire time she was very pleasant and upbeat.

This party city has costumes as well as thematic supply for birthdays and parties mostly for the kids.Be aware that fhey have a no refund policy for the costumes. But you can try them before buying.The team is very friendly. I went when it was crowded but they handled people with calm.But the stocks are not so accurate. Because at the counter a costume can be available but when you go at the storage room to pick them up, they can be out of stock for the same costume. And what is disappointing is that you have to do the line again.
