Ethan greeted me. Barry worked on the car. They were professional, prompt and helped me when I had to add more services and ask questions. I got more for my money than I usually do at the Ford Service Center and they were very transparent, even showing me the underside of the vehicle. I’d never seen it before.I left in a very timely manner, very pleased. When I leave Ford Service I always feel down and taken advantage of. Meineke was top notch. I will use them again when the need arises.

This shop did a quick and thorough job. They even took pictures for my work summary and recommendations on further work. My favorite part was the store manager was honest and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. Really good experience!

They were deceitful about the costs of their services. They kept adding cost to my bill. I was there for a simple oil change. I will never venture into any Meineke store anywhere. Take your vehicle to someplace that is honest about the costs of services.

Under new management, went to get a simple brake pad changed and my gut told me to get them checked , sure enough my brakes were installed incorrectly. Workers are not focused on what they are doing, it’s very obvious. Don’t use them and if you do have their work checked by a real mechanic.

Worst place ever! Mechanics have no idea what they are doing and focused on their personal devices then work. Manager seems not to care and they are sloppy workers. My oil cap was left loose and oil leaking everywhere. They are under new management and the new people are inexperience.

One small section of the exhaust system had rusted through. Rather than replace the entire unit for $2400, the guys at Meineke cut out and replaced the rusted section of pipe only for a fraction of the cost. Same day service...professional, polite and timely, even on a short-handed day. No attempt at up-selling, just good, honest service to take care of my cars problem. Definitely recommend them.

Over all it was great service. But I had to wait for 2 hours until the work was done. (Oil change and tire rotation)

Brian was great.My rear rotors were rusted out.They had to be replaced. The truck is as good as new now.

I liked how Meineke was able to clean my engines throttle body plus perform the fuel induction service for a reasonable price. I also appreciate their honesty with providing accurate parts and labor estimates for other services I need in the near future.

I went to the Frederick RD. Meineke in Rockville on the recommendation of a nearby Advanced Auto Parts where I purchased a battery to replace my dying one for my 2019 Chevy Impala. Impala batteries are too complicated for whatever reason for the Advanced Auto staff to install, so I knew it might be a hassle for me to do it myself.I called over to the Meineke to arrange an appointment. They said that they could try to squeeze my car in the next day. I was glad because it was the weekend and really needed to use my car to run some errands. I asked the Meineke staff if they could use the battery I already bought as a replacement. They told me it would be faster and cheaper to use a shop battery(Red Flag!). I followed their suggestion because I didn’t think they would try to rip me off( BIG MISTAKE!).I had my car towed over to the Meineke because it wouldn’t take a charge and dropped my keys in the mail slot per instructions. I got a call the next morning to say my car was ready. At first, I was elated, then the other shoe dropped. They had charged me ~$500 to for their battery + plus another ~$200 in labor! I was flabbergasted because the battery I bought at Advanced Auto was only ~$250!When got to Meineke to pickup my car and pay my bill, I asked them what kind of battery did they use. They said to check my invoice. The battery they installed retails for ~$100.00!!! It was also a much lower quality brand than the one I had purchased on my own. When I returned the more expensive battery I bought at Adanced Auto and told them how much I got charged, they confirmed I had I experienced in their words “highway robbery”!Never in my nearly 20 years of owing, repairing, and getting cars repaired have I experienced such blatant dishonesty and deception from an auto repair shop . DO NOT GO to this location because they are run by either incompetents and/or crooks!

Always take my car here. They get the job done. I question the prices sometimes but the service is amazing. Brain is great. Hes honest and straight to the point. Hes one of the major reasons I return because I trust his opinion and service process.

I travel from the Baltimore Metropolitan area to the Meineke Rockville location because of their professional and accurate repair service. I love this Meineke. I feel the mechanical has been very thorough snd looked at the car carefully pointing out problems that were under warranty, do the shop wasnt making money on it. The things i have had repaired were fair pricing and honest. One shop had quoted a bunch io work at $900. Meineke repaired one of the items for under $300 and the car was good!

First in 7:30a and almost first out! First replacement of pads & rotors that was needed. Alignment hadn’t changed from previous setting on record, so paid for nothing done. Pricey but needed to be safe!

I love this place! A regular long term customer at the Rockville location near Gude Drive. Yesterday, Richard, the regional manager, took my car in when I discovered I barely had any oil and the center was completely booked but someone didn’t show for their Appt. so he took my car in vs. keeping it overnight or having me take it somewhere else. I was in and out! He was so helpful and considerate of my need to get back work that day. Thank you Rich! Brian (store manager) is also awesome! My car is in terrific shape from the long term service my car receives at this center. Highly recommend

Very professional management.Work was good.Before returning car to customers someone should do quality control to make sure care it is returned in the same condition left by customer.Trunk was left very messy, had to be reorganized, did not replace flooring mat in trunk, and broke latch to first aid kit left in trunk.Service was great, quality control however needs improvements.

Bad waiting situation for customers, but Im pleased with their service quality. I recommend this location for great service. Not the fastest if you are in a rush though.

Late review, but I decided to try out the place using groupon for an oil change and not only did I get my oil changed, I got my tires rotated and filters changed + a few tips from the location owner/manager as I am a new car owner. Whenever I called they are always able to get me in to take care of any questions or any lights to come on. This last time that I went Rich helped me, and he was very fat friendly very professional and made sure that I understood everything that was going on with my car definitely would recommend speaking with him directly if you ever go to this location.

I question the mechanics there because they struggled to change my oil filter and air filter. It took two mechanics to figure it out… I have a regular car; nothing fancy. Manager was not friendly and not coming back here.

I stopped by to get an estimate on my car muffler issue.It was a good experience to meet a knowledgeable professional courteous staff to get written estimate for my car muffler. I will go back when I am ready for that.

The service was good. I came there 15 mins. after my set appointment time and I had to wait to get my oil changed, because they took in someone else to service. Even though I had to wait because of being late, we still were able to get quality service and receive an honest recommendation for future car maintenance. I also was able to use a discounted coupon for this location :)

One of the worst experiences at a car repair place. The shop didnt seem to want to work on my car, which would have been odd on a good day, but gave strange excuses why they didnt want to, then proceeded to help the customer behind me and then a phone customer before finally responding that they couldnt work on my car. I asked if they could not or would not before they finally responded that they wouldnt. It was annoying to have my time wasted like that. On top of it all the person at the desk called me buddy.Im not your buddy, guy. And I certainly wont recommend this shop to anyone.Short being stranded and ripped off in West Virginia, this was the worst and least professional shop Ive ever experienced.Beware.

Called and was told to come by at 10AM. Arrived and was told that apparently I called a wrong number to secure availability and car wouldn’t be able to go into the bay. However it was only a 20 min delay and just about 40 min for an oil change, rotation and air filter install.Due to covid you can’t wait in the lobby...or anywhere. My solution: Had to cross the street and wait in a bench near the NY Chinese Market, and used xfinity WiFi hotspot to work outside.Otherwise service was timely and professional. But if you arrive at a bad time you will get crunched. The previous time I came here in afternoon and had to wait around longer than an hour just to get my car in. By coming in the morning on a weekday I have reduced my self inflicted suffering

Call the local number on Sunday and was given an appointment and quotes. When I got there, the service person rudely told me that its not possible that I talk to someone on Sunday as they are closed. After I showed him the confirmation email, he mumbled something about call center. Refused to honor the quotes, and when I said let me check, he aggressively said: check what! Rude throughout. Left and did not go back.

I enjoy the honesty and good service I get about my car every time I come here. Theyre also pretty fast too without being sloppy. Bryan and all the techs there are on point to make sure everything is in good working order before returning the car. Anything I notice that is wrong with my car, I bring it here. Even if its minor. Love it here!

Very fast service! This was my first time going to this location. I purchased a basic oil change Groupon! I was able to make an appointment online and was in and out. It was a Greta experience. Oil change done in less than 30 mins.

I had a very complicated brake issue that created a lot of damage and was very difficult to diagnose. It turned out to be pretty expensive. Brian explained all the options and offered a few coupons. A few days later the problem came back. Brian found an additional part needing replacement. Brian installed the correct part and only charged for the part. I was happy there was no pressure or up charge or any games played. Just a fast repair and a fair bill for parts only.

I’m new to the area and my car started having problems on Tuesday. I called on Thursday and spoke with Brian who was able to fit me in. He was extremely helpful. He told me exactly what was wrong and was able to have my car fixed and ready to go in a few hours. I will definitely be coming back for any of my cars needs. Thank you!

Even brought my own oil to save them on the materials cost.Chubby fella at the desk could not fathom the thought of doing the oil change for $20. No material burden on him at all.Refused to accept Groupon because “they would not make enough” not sure why you all are putting Groupons out there.Awful client experience and striking lack of _____ acumen.

The guy greeted me and made me feel like my car was in good hands. It wasn’t a long wait either so I stayed and before I knew it, my car was done! The guy let me know that my car was good and gave me advice for what I may need the next time. So nice and helpful!

I cannot day enough about this location. I have taken cars here for 7 years. I am the type of person who keeps a car for a long time, so I’ve had quite a bit of work done here. I feel that the staff here does a great job of recommending only the work that is necessary to keep the car running safely.They kept my previous car running as long as reasonably possible, and were honest when it was time to let it go. With my current car, they helped me design a maintenance schedule to keep the warranty valid as economically as possible.

Not impressed at all. Bought a Groupon for a semi-synthetic oil choice which is what I have always gotten in this car. Guy refused saying they would only do a full synthetic because manufacture suggests it. Price $120 and no he wouldnt take the Groupon price and apply it towards the new price. Ok. Fine. But if I have to contact Groupon to work it out any way, why would I stay here and pay your price when I can go down the road and pay less? Guy was selling me the minute I walked in the door and when he realized I wasnt going to buy his story he wouldnt quit talking trying to save the sale by looking up my info for prior servicing (where he could see that my last oil changes were semi synthetic). Oh and by the way, I looked up my car manufacture suggestion and semi synthetic was just fine. I hate being lied to!

Went in for brakes , they looked at my car and said I dont need brakes. Pure honesty. I will be going back there if I need brakes.

People were helpful and sincere. They did more than the dealer would have done for the car’s braking system maintenance. The dealer previously recommended to change the tires, but the Meineke guys told that a change in tires is not necessary for now. Overall they saved me at least $200 and the service was very good.

My Son car was leaking coolant bad. Came here got it “fixed”I own a Chevy and the total was around 2000 sadly my son does not know very much about cars and I was out of town. So he payed 2000 also he got charged for a bunch of bs on his receipt. Took his car to a real mechanic his coolant was leaking because his car parts were not attached properly he never had a leak. This was weeks after the car was still slowly leaking. Called back the offered to fix for more money lol. Wouldent give them another dime not even for a part. In my opinion 2 thousand dollars to fix a Chevy leak is very expensive. Don’t send your kids here alone

The manager Brian was very attentive to the needs of my vehicle and didnt try to sell me things that I did not need! I will definitely be coming back for any service that my BMW needs in the future!

This was a huge wasted expense. Went in for free air conditioning check. Spent over $650 and my ac doesnt work. Took the car back yesterday and now they say I need a new compressor and evaporator for over $1100!

Amazing customer service both on the phone when I had called earlier in the day and in person when I arrived, Brian(not sure if he uses this spelling) was very nice. I didn’t interact with the mechanic, but he changed my oil and rotated my tires in a timely manner. It was also nothing left in my car like the last place I went to for an oil change. I will definitely go back again for more service on my car.

Initially I stopped by jiffy lube next door, to my surprise the service they offered was may outside my price range, I did remember that Meineke was next door and had a really good experience last time I was there. I walked in and was greeted immediately, the process went smoothly. One of the technicians walked me through what was needed and informed me on some questions I had about my car. I never felt pressured in to adding additional services but provided recommendations which I will definately do to prolong the life of my vehicle. On that alone I will definitely return soon to act upon those recommendations.

Shady business, let me go there twice to finish half of whats being paid. First, they told me theres no record of scheduled appointment even I personally called them and get a confirmed time. Alright, I scheduled it again on site and came again, they told me this time shop didnt have the tool to remove the tire to perform the tire rotation unless I can provide it. Aha, if thats the case why not tell me at the beginning of the deal, but till in the middle of oil change. How am I go to get the wheel lock key during the oil change from home? More importantly, why in the earth you offer and charge the tire rotation service but incapable of removing the tires. I will never use their service again regardless which service locations.

Brian was very friendly and informative. He explained the issues clearly and highlighted the few that might represent safety risks.We found the estimated price quite high (particularly labor time) but I guess he was just following the book.I found going to a mechanic a bit intimidating but Brian made us feel comfortable and well taken care.

10/10 would recommend taking your vehicle there for anything that it needs.

The manager, Brian, was able to fit me into a VERY busy Saturday schedule. Always friendly, he received my wifes Jeep and had his shop perform the service. Even at check-out, Brian took time to discuss a concern I shared at check-in while bringing others up-to-date as to their status. A confident feel was conveyed in a controlled chaos Brian was able to accomplish...complete with a smile.

My car wouldnt start this morning, and AAA told me that my alternator probably needed to be replaced. I took the car to Meineke, and they ran a (free) diagnostic within the hour. They couldnt find anything wrong with the vehicle, despite testing it multiple times. They are the definition of honest -- didnt charge me anything for their time, despite how easy it would have been to sell me a new alternator. Highly recommend Meineke!

I purchased a Groupon deal for a synthetic oil change and a tire rotation. I dropped my car off today at 7:45am and picked it up at 3:45pm. I specifically marked my front left tire to make sure they actually did the rotation. To my surprise, the marking was still on my front left tire so that proves to me that they did NOT do the rotation. The tech comes out so I can show him the markings. He said he definitely did it. I said if you did the rotation...where would the front left tire had been moved to?? He said the back left. The back left tire has no markings... they finally agreed to do the rotation which took another 10-15 minutes of me waiting around. Very shady indeed. I would highly recommend to everyone to find another place. If they cant be bothered to do a tire rotation I can only imagine what else they skip over or overlook. Would definitely not trust them to do a complex repair job. Still need to check if they even changed my oil/filter....

A shout out to Ethan and his entire team at Meineke for another great car service experience. The whole process was seamless and I came out feeling my car was serviced properly. Ethan is very honest and told me exactly what the car needed. In this case, an air filter and cabin air filter. The car runs much better and the price was reasonable too!I will certainly return to Meineke in 6 months or so for my next oil change or if it needs brakes. Great service always but this time I’m dessapointed about the charges because I got grupon oil change semi synthetic $45. But they charge me $ 42 more dollar in the shop finally cost me $87 dollar

The cost was a bit higher than average, but the service was good and also quick.

Brain had great convo, service not A1 but okay. They forgot to reset light and tip off all the fluids as advertised. Makes me wonder if high mileage oil was even used¿ Its the little things that keeps me coming back.

Meineke Car Care has been a great place for me to get my oil change done. Great thing about these folks are that they are very clear and up front about the any issues with your car and will give you a great price as well. Groupon or not they are now my car care people.

Meineke in Rockville is not your average car care location. These guys really care about their customers and will work on any car, including exotic or classic cars. They’re professional and courteous, as well as thorough!

The best care for your car and wallet. It is reassuring to trust your mechanics and Brian and Cliff will always have your best interests at heart. Even if it is something they cannot repair, they will give referrals of other trusted mechanics, auto-body repair, refurbished parts, and even auto sales. Too often mechanics take advantage of females, so take my word, as a daughter of a mechanic, that these guys can be trusted.

I took my car in to have an oil change and the service was outstanding! The team was very knowledgeable and explained in detail what was being done and how much it would be prior to starting the work. I was made aware of additional needs and given a great price for the work that was completed. Brian and his team were very courteous to myself and the other customers who were there waiting for the work to be completed, I definitely recommend this Meineke branch!

Stopped by at the last minute get my brakes checked and they were able to take care of my car with out an appointment! Customer service was great!

Shop is over priced. I was charged for 2 full hours of labor for a simple bolt-on pipe that took less than an hour of actual labor to install. The pipe was purchased by me and taken to the shop to install. I dont recommend this shop.

The GM Brian very warm, friendly and compassionate, because the repair I came there for he noticed I was struggling to pay it and he found me a great discount. Some places you go they just dont care. He cared. He asked me questions and knew what the problem was even before it was inspected. The mechanics were great ad well. I will now come here for all my care repair needs.

In October on the 1st I had my oil changed my oil has been leaking meaning you all did not put either new rings on the oil filter canister or didn’t do something right when you changed my oil didn’t have any problems before bringing my truck to Meineke. Brought my truck back in to Meineke on 1/2/2020 my engine locked up no major problems before taking my truck to Meineke in Rockville for an oil change I will to be compensated for engine shutdown
