So far it’s been good. I had a great experience buying the bike and having services done for the last 2 years. Don made sure to get my bike done right and on time. Recently he advised me to upgrade to the newer m series low maintenance chain to help with my chain stretching issues and wow what a difference! I’ve had nothing but great experience here and will continue to be a customer

I had two very different experiences with this dealership. The first time I went in, I dealt with Jennifer. I was there to check out and test ride an R1250 GS. She was friendly and helpful, and also very knowledgable about the product. A friend and I recently went back, with the intent of each placing an order for an R1250 GS (2 total). This time, there was a different salesman who was friendly, but would not listen to what we were trying to say. He tried talking us out of the regular GS and into the Adventure model (despite the fact that we’re both experienced riders and know what we’re looking for). I tried explaining to him that we were interested in ordering 2 bikes, but he didn’t seem to care and just kept rambling on and on. So we left and drove to BMW of SE Michigan, got there 15 minutes before they closed, and we each placed an order for the GS. The service at BMW of SE Michigan was great, and the process was as simple as it should have been. It makes me wonder how many sales that BMW of Detroit pushes away because this particular salesman doesn’t seem interested in making a sale. My suggestion, if you go to BMW Detroit, is to deal with Jennifer.

Don’t really ever review places but I came to this shop about a month or two ago ready to sign on the dotted line to buy an R nine t scrambler. The price was perfect, the options were perfect. I walked into the store on a Saturday afternoon and saw the bike, however the store manager wouldn’t engage in conversation with me or my girlfriend. There was another customer in the store, who awkwardly after 20 minutes suggested that the guy come and help us out, but he refused to do so. Tried to get his attention, ignored us. It was disappointing because I was very excited to try and purchase the bike that day, but alas it didn’t work out. Ended up buying one the next week from Ducati Detroit, and getting service at BMW Southeast Michigan. Service was impeccable, they were friendly from the get go. I would not ever shop at BMW Detroit after that strange experience. The bike is still on sale to this day. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because the shop was nice, no well laid out. Well appointed, and had a good inventory of accessories/gear.

Don is the only one I feel comfortable with working on my GS. 100k miles and Don has almost every service. Above and beyond, fair and helpful.

My wife and I purchased a 2018 k1600b from BMW Detroit and our Salesman Tony was awesome throughout the whole buying and test riding experience. He found the k1600b we wanted and had it ready for pick up in less than a week. He also walked us through all the somewhat overwhelming info associated with the k1600b. Thank you Tony and just remember not all k1600b keys are the same 😂

I came to this dealership with a friend who wants to buy a new s1000xr, not only were we not greeted by the salesman sitting next to the door, but we spent at least 20 minutes looking over different motorcycles without this guy even acknowledging we were in the showroom. Horrible customer service, which frankly cost them a guaranteed sale.

Talk about a great experience ! !! Picked up a new GS today , I called and did everything over the phone ,Tony had everything ready when I made the hour and a half drive . Super easy and quick . I got small town personal service and feel at BMW Motorcycles of Detroit .
