I had Atomic Television come and install a 65 flat screen television above our fireplace. There were no power or video outlets above the mantel, and my wifes one request was that no wires were exposed. A challenging undertaking, or at least I thought. John from Atomic first came out and evaluated the task. He explain to me in detail how it could be done, then emailed me a quote. Which I may add was very reasonable. We couldnt believe they were able to get a power outlet where there previously wasnt one. The first two pictures are from the wall in the garage opposite our living room. The installation was professionally done, exactly as we had asked. The second one is the finished product. Growing up off Williamson Road my dad always called Atomic Television for our repairs. Ive called on them in the past for my repairs, and for this installation. You can see why! Great job!!

They like to call and say they’re open until 5:30 for pickup but I guess clocking out early is okay enough for them.What an inconvenience and incredibly unprofessional.

I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a great customer service I called to get my screen replaced and they gave me the fifth- degree they like an interrogation it was very very very demeaning I did not appreciate the line of questioning I have not had this customer experience yet and this was the first and they did all this by phoneThank you but no thank you

My 10 month old Samsung TV had problems. After talking to Samsung they had Atomic TV to come and repair it. The called me and were very polite they listen to the problems I was having. Said they knew what parts needed to be ordered and called when the parts came in. They set up an appointment and we’re here even earlier than they said. The repairman (Philip) was following all the COVID guidelines. He was polite nice and very friendly. Within one hour my tv was back to its old self. I would definitely recommend this place for any TV service you need.

Would not recommend. Took our Samsung Plasma there due to a power on issue. Said it was the motherboard and about $500 to fix. Took it home and same issue on second power up. Obviously was not a motherboard issue, so $ wasted and no refund. After first warranty repair, now remotes would not work and still power up was inconsistent. Took it back and they said a cat must have urinated in it and $170 to fix the remote issue that was not there prior to taking it to Atomic. We dont have a cat. Maybe they do. Paid another $170 for another part. After that fix... Bluetooth remote does not work and still does not power up consistently. $670 worth of frustration. Not how I run my business, and I obviously went somewhere other than Atomic. I would recommend you go elsewhere, too.

Scottie the repairman showed up on time worked quickly and was very informative. He replaced the screen on an LG oled in about an hour was very friendly and neat.

First date that I was provided took off work to be here. No tech showed. Contacted the company to see where the tech was. Was informed they didnt get paid mileage to drive my way so it would be another week or so before they would come. After two weeks, the tech came and before looking at the tv or entering my home, stated that the tv wouldnt be covered under warranty. Rude, DO NOT RECOMMEND

Great location here in Roanoke on Williamson road. Ive had to have two of my televisions repaired here and feel they are up front and honest about their service and repairs and certainly a decent price to have those repairs done. Friendly service too. I dropped off the TVs for repair and they got back to me within a couple of days with estimates. If youre needing your TV repaired, I highly recommend Atomic TV.

This place is terrible with horrible customer service!!!!! I called to ask if they could fix my microwave. The unit is about 8 years old, so I was not even sure if parts were still available for it. I am not an appliance repair person, so I figured I would let them try to use their routes to find parts. Figured they would have better connections than myself for parts. Well during this phone call an older woman answered and told me I would have to bring the microwave in to the store. I live about 20 minutes away. I asked if they could just find out if parts were still available. If they could get them I would bring the microwave to them instead of wasting a trip, both of ours time, and my money. She kept insisting that they were unable to take the time to look online and find out if parts were available for the model I have. Seriously! What kind of customer service is that. She told me that if I would not bring it into their shop, then maybe I could find another place to fix it. What kind of company has customer service like that. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude. I would look for another place to take my product. There are much better and nicer service centers out there! Ones that will also not charge you an arm and a leg without knowing first and for sure if they can fix your product. This company is only interested in your money. They could care less whether the customer is happy or not!

This is the best company. We already knew the kind of TV we wanted and called to get prices. We were wanting to deal with someone we could get service with. They found us the best price, even better than on line. Ordered, delivered and set up. Excellent professional company and employees.

I brought in my flat screen plasma tv there some time ago to get repaired , considering the cost of my tv you wouldve thought theyd clean it after their repairmen durtied up the plasma sensitive screen but nope . Pitty i cant give 0 stars

Atomic TV just performed warranty work on my Samsung tv and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. Called Samsung and had a fix in a week and a half. Phillip was very professional, friendly and finished the job in no time. I kind of dreaded this process but Atomic made it flawless 👍🏻

Service man came out Sept 25th, TV could not be repaired. It was still under warranty, repairmen said he would turn in the paper work that evening and Sanyo would contact me about replacing the TV. Afternoon of 10/1 I still had not heard from Sanyo, contacted Sanyo they said they had not received the paper work. Called Atomic TV they said the repairman had not turned in paper work. The serviceman had turned in the paper work it had been laying on their desk. I was told they would do it then! Never apologized for the long delay. The only reason they are getting one star is for the service man!

Friendly staff great selection

Called today to ask them how much it would be to fix an hdmi port on my ps3. They said it would be $50 to diagnos the problem. I said I know what the problem is can you fix it or not. They still implied it would be a $50 charge to diagnos it. Why would I pay you $50 to diagnos my product, when I know whats wrong with it. I will pay $50 to fix it my damn self. Then on top of all that he tells me its going to be 8 days to get to me since they are so backed up. Umm hey... a hdmi port only takes an amateur 30 minutes to fix. So dont think I will ever take anything to these guys. So glad Im not stupid.

They charge $60 for a diagnosis on television repair. This goes toward the cost of the repair should you choose to do that. I was given an estimate of $411 to replace a power supply board on my Panasonic tv. The cost of the board retail online is $125. It takes an amatuer with no experience about 30-45 minutes to change the board. Their estimate was for $175 for the part and $235 for labor. Although a business can charge anything they want based on supply and demand, the labor charge was absurd and the charge for the part was 40% over retail. They would not tell me how long it would take to do the repair and were reluctant to discuss it at all when I picked my tv up to repair it myself. And I did it in about 30 minutes. They had quite a few used tvs for sale...the product of them repairing tvs that people turned down the estimate on and were left there. It almost seemed that they set the price absurdly high to get the customer to forfeit the tv so they can fix it and sell it. And for the few that pay the high estimate charge, not understanding what is happening, they make a unfair profit.I believe that it is just disreputable to take advantage of the customer, because they are in the dark about television electronics. I owned and ran a very successful small business for over 30 years and I do not agree with their business model of extremely high repair fees.

Very poor communication, very slow to respond to a service request. I have been waiting a month for them to have the time to make it out. I will update this once they visit but over the phone i am not impressed at all.

Atomic doesnt really seem to want your business and it shows. They have slow turnaround on repairs, and the techs clearly dont like human beings. I have wasted weeks on estimates with them, only to find out that they were their diagnosis were wrong

Had a problem with a television, called Atomic and explained to a tech.what kind of a problem i was having .He did his best to help me over the phone and at no time tried to get me to bring it to their shop.This is the kind of a local merchant we all ought to support !!
