This review does not reflect the immense jump in the price of whole corn livestock feed from around $7 to $13 a 50 pound bag as it does the whopper told to justify it: an increase in fuel to truck it! They must have switched from diesel fuel to 150 proof moonshine! Get real, folks!!

Went in for a quick item, and was unpleasantly surprised to see a lot of bickering among the employees, bad mouthing customers in front of other customers, and just overall a very unprofessional environment. Very disappointed

What a great place. The employees are friendly and the store was in order. The lady at the cash register was super friendly and had lot of knowledge about the store and products. They had all the items we needed.

Went here on a Saturday because Bedford Tractor Supply was out of the 40 pound bags of black oil sunflower seed and they had them here in stock!They also had more of a selection of quartz infrared heaters here than at the Bedford Tractor Supply because of this cold weather theyre selling out all over!They also had a good selection of mark down Christmas supplies!

All three experiences with this store have been useless. Customer service is non existent with the exception of the lonely young cashier up front each time.My first visit I had a a shopping list of unfamiliar items for my moms new pet Juliana piglet. Two employees were visibly bothered by my questions for locating the feed I needed. They subsequently disappeared before I could ask for more help. I finally had to ask the young man running the register if he knew where to find what I was looking for. He called for help twice. No one ever appeared. I gave up, bought what I had and left.Several days later, I needed another item. I was instructed to go there specifically. I called to make sure it was in stock. I had the brand name and product name - Jump Start. The rep answering the phone was clueless. The manager she asked informed her that they had food products but not the supplement I was asking about. I could hear him telling her this on the phone.I looked online. It said it was there in stock. I drove to the store.It was there. Not even hiding. Right where it should be. Ill pretty clueless about farm animal products and I found it easily.I dont know who is working there but they need to put a little more effort into training their employees. Or at least teach them to work a computer to look up inventory.If it werent for the same guy checking out a ridiculously long line of people, Id have given them a dismal one star! As a bonus, he even price matched the supplement for me. They got an extra star for that.I plan to find an alternate establishment for anything I may need in the future. I try to avoid lackadaisical people when I can. Its infuriating to know something is there but all the employees are just too lazy, apathetic, or ignorant of their inventory to help their customers!

Their quality in their product has a lot to be desired. I buy horse feed there and one of my bags was completely molded when I opened it (same day as purchase). When I went back to replace it the only bags they had were damaged by the forklift which actually meant a nearly foot long gash, taped up, and a solid 5lbs of feed missing from the bag. It wasnt marked down and employees didnt seem to care (not that I would have bought it). The remaining two bags had large tears in them as well. When I asked if they could check in the back for more the employees acted annoyed. The cashiers are pleasant and thats really my only perk.Dont sell opened feed bags. Poor quality and lack of pride in their products.Also, I get a lot of employees are young but the hiding in the corner gossiping instead of helping customers doesnt reflect well on their manager.

They could really do a lot better, but they just dont.

Both times I ordered feed online for curbside pickup. Though I had been texted that my order was ready, both times I had to wait 15-30 min. For them to come out with 6 bags of horse feed. Today it was 30 min before I was able to leave, causing my feed to get rained on. Nobody apologized or tried to make it better at the store. The mgr should be fired along with the crew of inept children she manages. Very poor experience. Hire someone with an IQ above 40!

I wonder if I was the only lucky one to pickup a bad bag of chicken feed? Chicken start showing signs sickness and I lost my rooster. After all the advises and I am trying, finally someone on backyard chicken brought this to my attention to check the feed. I keep this in dry place in my garage but after I dumped it to check if its true of what I was told , i found this molded.Now I prefer Rual king in Radford better and cheaper once a month and Rockingham Cooperative ACE Hardware - Troutville for emergency needs.

Great stock of items, had a nice sale on outside decor like flower baskets, planters, etc. Always have a great bargain bin selection.

Okay, its tractor supply. Whats not to like? This one always seems to be well stocked and well cared for. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Theyve even helped us locate something that they didnt carry at another store. And Im not talking another tractor supply they found another store that actually carried the product they didnt carry. Overall great experience every time we go in.

These guys are great. Greeted when we walked in, got help with an item quickly and check out was fast. The store was quite busy today but no matter, we were treated as if we were the only ones there. Friendliest bunch weve met in a long time. This has become our HOME store!

Not enough employees on floor. Had to walk around too much to find someone to advise me on a purchase . Then once in checkout customers were 20 deep w only 1 register open. Cashier kept announcing over intercom for assistance. Stood in line for 25 minutes. Other customers becoming impatient. However, theemployees I had contact with were friendly

Good quality dog food at decent prices. Hardly have any 4Health canned food (not stew variety) when we go. Its like you have to go in there on delivery day to get them as the shelves are almost always empty other times. Good selection of stuff for farm and garden.

They always have the stuff I need, although I fail to understand the purpose of the club they have when they ask for your phone number at check out. I never get anything other than just regular ads from them. Nothing special, but not complaining, more of just a comment.

Terrible service. Only saw 2 employees and the place was pretty busy. Needed help to find my purchase and someone who could answer questions I had. I was kept waiting at service counter for over 15 minutes and even though cashier made a request for help at service counter over PA system never saw a single person. They were recommended to me by a repair shop but I will never go back and will recommend my repairman not send people there in the future.

Love going into tractor supply. Wanted to purchase a shade tree because the sign advertising started that they were on sale but employees had put the wrong sign up and management would not honor the mistake.. dissatisfied

We regularly shop here. Its a great place to grab stuff for the animals or the farm. Im able to find higher quality dog and cat food at better prices than grocery or pet stores

Cashiers are slow, continue conversations with each other while waiting on customers, and getting actual help is hard to find. A lot of items are not stocked on shelves, and you have to wait around for someone to go in the back and search the stock for what you need. The Bedford location provides better service

Filled up with propane in my RV. Nice folks. Easy process, and didnt have to walk two miles to get it like I did at Camping World.

My car battery died in the parking lot. The manager tried to jump me from his truck, but my battery was so covered in acid and old that it wouldnt hold a charge. Later, when another employee came in, we bought a battery and he installed it for us. The same manager that helped me earlier gave him the break to do it. There are still good people in this world. They helped me in a time of great stress. Wonderful prices on pet supplies as well!

Good place for farm and animal supplies. Lot of young staff that need abit more training on products and services.

Store always seems short staffed and not very organized. Half the time you have to ask someone for a product. And they always seem to say ots in the back. And they havent had time to stock it. Some of the employees are fairly nice and other seem to just be there for a check. But cant blame them for being short staffed. Thats the owners fault.

This store is at a great easily accessible location but this store is not very well organized and I find some items seem to take a long time to get back in stock.

This time of year I love the home decorating area. Nice gifts for the gals.

Messy store . Stuff blocked isles . Shelves a mess. Food on the floor not swept up!! Been just a mess for a while. What is going on over there?? Used to like to shop there but man its just a pit now! So i went in there today and guess what no help what so ever. I had asked for I cant believe after a year they have not improved at all. While i was waiting another customer said you never get any help here nothing new. If I could do a minus 5 stars they would get it . I couldnt find one person to help me. Terrible service. Wont be returning again

The associates are knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices are reasonable, and tgey carry items for garden and yard, along witg your farm supplies.

Made purchase earlier in the week - gallon of paint, did not cover very good, after three coats in test area. Returned it, was given a fuul refund and help me find what I did need to do my project. Employees were very knowledgeable, project near completion, very happy with the service I recieved and the results on the project.

Young man came by and helped me find all the different fittings I needed to get my shop air compressor going. He and the cashier were very friendly... thanks.

Horse feed is all ways molded..never any organization..feed sits in the floor in your way.cant seem to get the shelves stocked and employees are there just to take up more space.

Greeted at the door with a smile!!bathroom was smelly and nasty, papertowel holder was empty, and roll of towels was on the floor.......needless to say, i didnt dry my hands before i left the restroom.Store was clean and organized, for the most part.

Learn how to answer the phone when a customer calls. Being put on hold twice for 10 minutes both times is unacceptable. Especially for someone thats looking to spend $1200-$1500 but I guess thats not important too you.
