The worst customer service I have ever experienced. As the only black female in the store interested in buying her first small firearm. I felt disrespected, degraded, and filled out my own paper work just to be told the transfer of sale would not happen. DO NOT come here to purchase if you’re of the brown community. All the gun stores in the area tell me dont go to Doomsday Tactical. They hate them because they have better prices. They do have way better prices. And they will go out of their way to help you. They did me.

I have never had a good experience at this store. Ive visited this location several times while living in the Roanoke area in the last 3 years and every time they only have smart or rude comments, overpriced (usually) firearms or raciest remarks (Im assuming they thought I couldnt hear them). As of lately theyre stock is limited but I know thats not their doing but dont tell them that because they tend to just throw a rude comment anyways. Definitely do not recommend going to this establishment unless they have something other stores in the area does not and if thats the case expect to pay more then recommend MSRP.

This is such an amazing business, we had actually gone to @safeside first but are so happy we were influenced to come here instead. Well stocked small store, except for ammo which is to be expected right now. Tons of magazines however. Apparently they are not abiding by COVID requirements, not by a long shot. Not a single customer or employee was wearing a mask nor trying to social distance, with about 15 or so people in there.

3000 rounds and the glock 19 they sold me is still clean and functional as right out of the box! Nice staff too!

Had 3 guns I no longer wanted and took them there to sell. Got greeted as I entered by all the employees and the owner. After 15 minutes we agreed on a price, filled out the paperwork and I was out the door with cash in hand. Super professional and easy to deal with. Thanks again!

Ordered a handgun online and because of the business hours of my regular FFL I decided to use the services of this shop for the transfer of the firearm. Must of driven by this business hundreds of times. But never looked in. Sorry I didnt. The staff were nice and pleasant and very friendly. The transfer of my order was done quickly and efficiently. Their stock of firearms and the many assaories is large. I plan to do more business with them in the future.

Pricey, but had what I needed. Inventory is slim on choices. Seemed they didnt want to wait on you unless u are a guaranteed sale. I purchased three Ammo bags. An Online store has them for $15 and shipping $2.50.

Awesome customer service! Even when this place is super busy, they get to everyone in a timely manner. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store’s selection is excellent and their house coffee brand is also fantastic. I have a hard time choosing between Black Rifle and Doomsday’s house brand so I just get both from them.

I recently purchased my Henry 45-70 here.I have to say even when this place was slammed to the gill with customers, they still made time to help me out amongst the chaos. I had the guys behind the counter hand me the same two rifles several times, while I was battling with myself over which I liked more and if i wanted to drop some cash. Never once did they get tired of me asking to see them, even joked around about buying both. Good friendly environment, knowledgeable staff,Great guys, great selctions. Please if you are in the market for any kind of firearm protection, hunting, or good ole gun bragging rights stop in and check this place out, and leave a little safer that day.

I bought a Taurus G2C, along with my cousin getting one, and I must say it was so refreshing to deal with a friendly, customer service valued staff that did a great job! I got a great deal on a bad for my rifle for 35 dollars too! Got a great deal on ammo too! They treated me as if they had known me for awhile and took care of my business! Ill be happy to go buy more firearm equipment from them in the future!

Absolutely by far the best tactical shop you’ll find. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I was there for at least two hours before I finally decided on the gun I wanted and not once did they act like they were getting tired of me which is surprising because I took forever and handled at least 20 different guns before I bought one. Super busy all the time,and super efficient.Everyone was so polite and accommodating from Brandon to Mike to the owner, bought (2) 9mm for wife and daughter for Christmas, seamless transaction, took less than an hour,went on my lunch break to purchase. Now I have the itch for a revolver.Im going back for ammo and holster too soon, and went back like I said and got The Judge!!!!

I recently bought a Springfield XDM Compact from GrabAGun and had it shipped to Doomsday Tactical in Roanoke, Va on Orange Ave. When it came in, I went to Doomsday Tactical and filled out the paperwork and had a background check done. They also had a Bond Arms Snake Slayer IV in stock, so I purchased that too. In about a half hour or so, I walked out with both guns. They only charge a $10.00 fee for ordering online and having a firearm shipped to them, plus the $2.00 fee for the NICS background check. I will definitely buy from them again. A nice little firearms store and friendly staff. My experience with Doomsday Tactical in Roanoke, Va was fantastic.

I made an agreement with Mark Williams on a $1000+ item and the morning we were supposed to meet he ignored me, then messaged me later that night that he sold it to someone else. He wasted my time and a trip to the bank, not to mention I didnt get the product I need.

Ive only been there once, Im new to Roanoke and was looking to see what selection of weapons were available. The staff was pleasant and I was asked by multiple staff members if I needed help or wanted to look at something. The selection was good and a person, probably the owner, offered me a good deal on a custom AR. If I had the money to purchase that day I would have! And even though the store was slightly busy I could see the staff multitasking exceptionally well. Will be purchasing from this shop soon!

It does not have a option to respond back to you, so I am editing the post to include my response back to you. My husband had asked the price of the complete upper for a 6.5 grendel 20inch barrel. Even if as you say they fall into that price range they should have said would you like to build one and see where the price ends up, or something along those lines. Just giving a price range and not offering anything else gives the impression of not wanting to sell something. We were in there on 1/19 I believe it was around 11 am.Original post:Very disappointed in mine and my husbands experience here. We are building a couple of rifles, we went in the store to price and purchase parts. We had looked up prices several places online but we would rather buy from a local shop. When we walked in there were two people working behind the counter and only one customer looking around in the store, so they were not busy. My husband told one of the guys working that he wanted to get the price on a part, and told him what it was. The guy said oh thats probably going to be between $300-$400 but he would not look it up and give my husband a actual price. My husband was a little frustrated but we decided to keep looking around to check out everything in the store. A few minutes later the other guy working asked my husband if he needed help. My husband said yeah, Im trying to price some parts but the other guy wont look it up. He said oh thatll probably be $350 or maybe even $400. Again the guy would not look it up and give a actual price. We left and took our business somewhere that actually wanted to do business.

Best prices on any firearm or firearm accessories. Plenty of AR related parts and misc, and in buying any parts or accessories results in free installation. Great for repairing firearms with knowledgeable and competent staff on hand to give you the best experience you’ve ever had with any shop.

I purchased a rifle from Doomsday Tactical in May 2018. The staff was helpful and courteous. I left minutes after I got there with everything I needed. All in all, I had a decent time at this store. Ill more than likely visit again.

Came in and purchased a new pistol everything went great. The next day I came in to check out a holster and wanted to shop around to find the best deal when I was laughed at by the employees for exploring my options around town. When I didnt find one I liked around town I called to the store and the employee Brandon advised me to come into the store and pick out the one I wanted and pay for it and I would have my new holster the next day...3 days later after calling the past couple of days checking on the status of my holster, I walked back into the store and Brandon turned to the owner and asked feel like making a holster to the owner. So my question is how long would I be expected to wait if not walking back into the store? 20 minutes later I had a holster and was told that the owner had been sick so it couldnt be done. Why not cross train your employees so you dont have this issue? My advice take your business elsewhere the $5 to $10 you save you not worth the headache.

The Roanoke store used to be an amazing shop with knowledgeable, friendly folks who treated you like family as soon as you walked in the door.Unfortunately, since the opening of their second location, the new staff at the Roanoke store pales in comparison to the quality of customer service once provided.In particular, the heavyset sales person comes across as an arrogant, know-it-all, self serving youngster who could use a few lessons in how to treat customers.The other salesman, while well meaning, has very little knowledge of inventory, and has difficulty answering specific questions about the firearms that the store offers.It saddens me that a once great shop has become a place that I dread trying to deal with.

We bought a pistol at Dooms Day Tactical, and although the price was good they were very dishonest about ordering our holster that we paid for at the time we purchased the pistol. We were told the product would be in the following Wednesday and we waited for the call and never received one. We called them and they said it hadn’t came in yet and they’d call us. We called the Bullseye Manufacturer and they said they’ve not received an order from them in months and were furious that Doomsday was making them look like they weren’t filling orders when indeed Doomsday had never called to place the order even two weeks post purchase of our pistol. We will not be buying anything else from Doomsday and would not recommend them from this point forward due to dishonest business practice. While purchasing our pistol another gentleman was also inquiring about his holster and he had said it had been weeks for him also. Beware.

Went in to buy the new colt python only to find they have a $500 markup from suggested retail price of $1499.Had it priced @1999.

Good prices on most things, stocks generic gun parts, ROTHCO everything, and has like 1 medical kit. Rothco as well. For being a preparedness store it sure is lacking in preparedness and full on medical doomsday for when you get shot or injured. I will not be commuting to Boogaloo with this store.As Dr.Boogaloo says: “if man does not have medical on him, thou shalt not commit to boogaloo with that individual.”

I didnt find the staff friendly at all but I did come in with my Colombian fiancee, who by the way is a Veteran of the Navy, Hosptial Corpsman Fleet Marine Force, and everyone stopped talking as soon as we entered. The atmosphere became chilly, and not one person spoke to us the whole time we were in the store. Why would I spend money in a store that clearly sees skin color rather than what a person has to offer society? I am not into supporting bigotry or racism. My money will go elsewhere.***This all happened about 2 PM Saturday 11/10.

Ive purchased one or two firearms from the folks at Doomsday and have always had a great experience. I will admit I was an internet gun purchaser and discovered them by way of an FFL transfer. Now they are my go to spot for anything firearms related. Great selection, good prices, and friendly staff keep me coming back. Lastly, if you dont see it in the shop...I will guarantee they can get it for you quickly.
