Me and my grandmother came in today to get a ring sized up, when we walked in we were not greeted like everyone else was. We werent dressed fancy or anything and were just dropping off the ring to be sized. The lady took one look at our ring and said it was gold plated, not solid gold and said they wouldnt size it. When we asked to look at some other rings she pointed us the the clearance jewelry! We walked upstairs to henebrys jewelery and they said it was a lie, and indeed our ring was solid gold. No worries, we had the ring sized there. Zales lost nearly 300 because they judged us on our appearance. We will NOT be returning.

Worse experience ever! Rube unprofessional! Spent 2hrs for an exchange. I purchased a pair of rose gold earrings 01/22/2021 fast forward to 04/11/2021 after getting my 2nd hole pierced I realize the rose gold for my 1st pieced were too big so I took them to the store to exchange them with my original receipt. Now I understand this is a 30 return/exchange and a 60 day exchange. All I wanted to do was exchange the earrings for a smaller pair. I could already feel the vibe when I walked in the store. 1st it was we don’t know if the system will allowed to do an exchange. Than it was you’ll have to pick out something that $700 and pay the difference....than it was corporate will have to approve it. So while staying in the store I called spoke with Lala very nice lady she understood what I was trying to do and said it was up to the store manager whether or not they would approve the exchange 🙄 so it depends on what kind of mood the manager is in if they want to do an exchange or not. Well after being on the phone with corporate for an hour and at the mall for 2 I was finally able to exchange my earrings for smaller ones and still had to pay 17.80. And the pregnant one (manager) wrote on my receipt “NO REFUND or EXCHANGE. Like lady you really act like the money was coming out of her pocket. Tall black hair chick clearly don’t like black people cause she was rude to me before. Moral of the story Zales in Valley View Mall make up their own return/exchange and of your a brown person they treat you differently. $300 was my hard earned money not no government stimulus checks. I’ll never buy anything from Zales ever again.

Had very nice jewelry, but the employee who helped me spoke like she was reading from a script. I understand they make money from commissions and need to sell but I don’t like being talked to with a fake smile. Treat me like a human not a sale and I would gladly buy. I took my business to another store.

I really loved it here. They had the best selection in the mall and the ladies at the store helped me and my Fiancé find the perfect rings. They weren’t pushy and the prices are affordable. So i know where im getting my jewelry from now on

I hope that this message reaches all the way CEO and everyone else up the tree of this organization has read this. I had the most heart felt amazing experience at the Zales in Roanoke VA in Valley View Mall. I went into this store today and was helped by Lisa. She is one of the best people I’ve met in customer service. I went in this store today and shopped for my family member. I told her what I was looking for and how much I had to spend. Within 15 minutes I made my purchase within my budget and it’s is beautiful. She was quick to help me, she had a smile on her face, and she was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough about this. Now that being said, I watched 4 other associates assist EVERY customer that came in the store with a smile!!!! Every associate was wonderful. I stood next to another customer who was assisted with the same pleasure as me. He had a huge smile on his face and told the associate the item she showed him was “perfect.” And you could tell this purchase meant something to him. It wasn’t until after Lisa helped me that I told her the importance of my purchase. If you want a great place for beautiful jewelry and the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Go to Zales at Valley View Mall, see Lisa and get a great purchase. I will go there now and forever for my jewelry. Thank you Lisa for helping my family today. And thank you Zales for having this store and staff to help me.

I went into the store today, and asked a sales associate a question regarding ring guards. The associate that I spoke to had only worked there for 3 months, so she had to ask the manager (Amy Wynn) the question. From the very beginning of the conversation, the so-called manager was rude, impatient, uncouth, and aggressive in her approach, while assisting other customers. She did not once excuse herself from the customers in front of her (who were Black, if that tells you anything), and she also did not apologize to them while interrupting the possible sale. I overheard one of the customers that she was assisting say Does she not want this sale today?! While she was speaking to the other employee asking the question, she was dismissive to her. She attempted to try to make believe that I was confused about which store I was in, by saying you didnt get anything like that for free here, it was another store I am afraid! Well I am afraid she is royally incorrect. I have been going to this store for over 10 years, and I am not blind, or senile. The previous assistant manager was awesome! I dont know where she is working now, but she obviously received a promotion. This Amy Wynn needs a demotion. She is horrible! One of the worst jewelry store managers in town! Plus the diamonds have a very poor grade quality, which makes the shopping experience here worse! Save your money and go upstairs to Finks! Amy Wynn receives a -0 out of 10 for customers service!

I visited a few different jewelers at the mall and around the local area, and Zales was the only place who did not heavily pressure me to make a purchase to the point where I felt uncomfortable like I did in every other store. The sales associate, Michael Barnes, happily answered all of my questions, was patient, and directed me exactly where to go online to find my perfect ring. I chose Zales because of his great service and personality!

Highly disappointed! I spent a lot of money with this store on a engagement ring. Paid a 1000 for a warranty, complete waste of money find a good local jelwer the ring has been sent of for repairs and comes back more damaged each time and has been lost and sent too two different stores twice now. The ring is now not even round and you can see it just looking at. Was told they would put the diamond in a new band but was told I have to buy another warranty. Beware!
