Took my granddaughter there to shop. She loves Hot Topic. My first time there and the staff was awesome in assisting us. This little shop is great because of the customer service and variety of items.

I had not visited here in a pretty long time but I loved the nostalgia going back. I spent a lot of money but was most impressed with Ian Malone who helped me throughout my visit without huffing and puffing and eye rolling like the other employees when I asked them questions. This was an overall great visit. You saved the day Ian!

I understand Covid protocol and having a limited number of people in your store but your staff is rude. Ask my husband if he needs to come into your overpriced store with our kids and he wont, he will find somewhere else to spend our money.

Ive been going to hot topic for years now and i love it. i have no criticisms for this place whatsoever, i just wanted to write a good review on it simply out of appreciation. to everyone who works at hot topic, thank you for everything you do, and as always, take care and stay safe.

Just had a terrible experience at this particular store (Store number 0425). There was a buy two clearance items and get two free special going on. Which is why I went into the store in the first place. So I bought two pops, a fleece throw, and pants. After looking at the receipt I noticed that I did not receive any of the items for free. When I asked why the associate (Kacy) told me that yellow tags were “clearance” and black tags were “promo”. I did not see a sign anywhere explaining the difference between colored tags. So one would assume that any markdown sticker would be considered “clearance”. I then said I would like to return the items. She told me I had to sign the original receipt first. So I did. She then refunded the black tagged pops and as she handed me a return receipt she highlighted the part that said “all clearance is final sale”. I was not allowed to go back and pick the two free items. I also was not provided with the original receipt as she took it back. I was only given the receipt that had the two returned items on it. There were a couple ways this could have been handled differently and satisfactory. When bringing two clearance items to checkout she could have said “hey you’re getting two clearance items, did you know you can pick two more for free?” This would have led to clarification and is just good business practice to make sure customers are informed about specials offers and sales. I also could have been offered the option to go pick out my other two free items. Which would not have been ideal but would have been acceptable. Making me sign the receipt before explaining the returns made me feel, after the fact, cheated. Not being given a receipt for the other products I purchased is just bad business. So in the end I feel victim to their dishonesty and/or ignorance of good customer service. I’ve never had a bad experience at any Hot Topic before. In fact, it has always been a favorite store of mine. This was my first experience in this particular hot topic and will most definitely be my last. This whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I hope that my experience is just an isolated thing.

The employees are always helpful and really easy going, love shopping here and talking to them when I can

Cramped and Gothic store setting and overpriced t shirts

I get the guidelines but the staff usually doesnt watch the door so if you want inside you will stand awkwardly waiting for up to 10 minutes

Very, very similar to Spencers Gifts (which ironically is located directly across from it), however Hot Topic is directed more toward teens/young adults in my opinion. They do still have some rather cool things there at times, hence the 4 star rating! I love their concert tee selection.

Hot topic is really expensive but the stuff is cool

Wanted an item that they didnt have in the right size but checked stock and found they could get it. Paid for it and went back a couple days later and it actually had just came in that day, which they hadnt had a chance to check but looked in and the item was in the box. The girl who ordered it was actually there at the store when I came back in and did all this.She is an excellent employee. She greeted us as we walked in and if we looked like we needed help, she would ask. I hope to see her there in the store when I go to do school shopping.

Hot topic is consistent. You know what to expect and they deliver. My teens love it.

Lots of interesting things

Whenever were in the mall (which isnt often) we always visit Hot Topic. It seems as if everytime we come, they have different staff which is normally how shops in the mall are. Theyre always friendly but this time the two girls who worked there were SUPER sweet. Didnt catch their names but they were really nice and all around amazing

Love hot topic. Grest place to go for clothes, accessories and jewelry that is a but gothic. They have decent prices and a store credit card. The staff where very helpful and friendly. No free wifi but they have dressing rooms. I really reccomend this store .

Didnt get hotcash. Lady who told us the sales wasnt that talkative and the lady didnt ask about my membership until after I mentioned it. Only 3 people seemed to be working and it was packed.

Best place to go get anime related stuff

The staff seem very uninterested in talking to you and its not fun to have staff constantly try to sell you something, small compact and colastraphobic leading to very awkward encounters of trying to squeeze past other customers and the music is way to loud leading to the staff shouting at you, the products offered are of small selection and sizes along with poor quality, NOT recommended.
