As soon as we walked in the door staff was there willing to help and answer questions! They were all so friendly and we definitely enjoyed coming here. You can even buy individual cans so that you can try a variety of flavors. We will definitely be back!

I get my favorite beer here, Asahi. Theyve got a great selection of everything! I cant quite give 5*. The reason is a couple of things I liked, they wouldnt carry anymore. But thats the way business goes, but you need to check it out.

Support your local bottle shops! This place has tons of beers from all over, with an impressive wine selection as well. Good pricing on singles, too. Cans, bottles, and an area in the back to sit and enjoy a good amount of options on tap. Well worth the visit if youre looking for those limited releases and/or other brews not available at your neighborhood grocery store.

You can buy single cans and bottles out of packs, so you can try something new without having to commit to 6 or 12.

This is the best beer store Ive ever been in, excellent selection, no filler, and a great tap selection. They still had KBS and 5 beans on the shelf months after other places had sold out. Check it out!

My fiance went in there to look for a specialty beer for me for valentines day. The man working ignored him because he was in his work clothes and because he did not look like everyone else in there with their regular nice everyday clothes on and the man told him to wait and helped other people. My fiance is a hard working man who makes good money. You should teach your employees not to judge a book by its cover. No one i mean no one should be treated this way!!! Have some respect and morals!!

Very pleasant and very fast with delivery. The wines he suggested were really good although I had never heard of the labels of the Vinyards he named. Very reasonably priced and there is a $10.00 service charge to deliver but No Tipping involved. Very convenient and good wines. My guests were pleased. I will definitely call them again! 😊

The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! We dont have anything like this store where I live. The bar offers a variety of beers and wines by the glass and the food is great. They have great retail prices and choices on beers and wines.

Really great beer selection. I cant speak to the wine because I dont know anything about wine but it seems like a large selection. The staff is tremendously knowledgeable. They will help you find something you like if youre not sure what to get. The real gem here is the small bar with interesting and hard to find beers on tap, including beer brewed in-house that is consistently some of the best beer in Roanoke. You can buy small pours to enjoy while you walk the store. Love this place!

Manager Eric Schisler is great. He helped us with our wedding wine order. He is Extremely knowledgeable, understanding and willing to help!!We tried multiple vendors and distributors in North Carolina and Virginia, Eric and the team are by far the best and easiest to work with.

The staff was nice and informative. They gave me plenty of suggestions. I have even sat at the wine bar. I would suggest a better layout for the wine bar table seats.

Hands down the best bottled and canned beer selection in the valley. However, their constantly rotating taps and AMAZING in house brewery keep us coming back often. The staff here are extremely knowledge and accommodating.

Outstanding selection, both in bottle and also now on tap, arguably carries varieties you wont find at any other beer store. Martin is great to work with, and very knowledgeable about styles, availability, etc.Prices are fair, and again, for the selection, well worth paying. This is regularly one of my main stops when seeking out craft beer in the region.

Barrel Chest has a fantastic beer and wine selection, but the real attraction is the bar in the back of the store. Being able to try before you buy is a major plus, and the service is always top notch! The house brews that Martin has been cranking out are especially worth the visit. I literally cannot name a beer he has made that I did not enjoy. This is THE place for a craft beer enthusiast to visit in Roanoke.

Didnt get a good vibe from this place. Stood at the bar for 5 minutes and never got any acknowledgement from the bartender I was even there. Dont see the need to return; all the same beers can be had elsewhere.

Good beer selection, very relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, this place is awesome! The bar set up is great and theres a separate area to sit at four-top tables. Awesome food selection. I will definitely be back here again.

They have a great selection and variety of beer and wine and do an excellent bar/tasting selection in the back which is reasonably priced. Depending, they will sell you a tasting of 2 oz up to like a full pint off their tasting menu which is constantly updated and a nice variety. You can also purchase any single beer in the store (all beers are priced by pack or singly) and have it opened and served at the bar if you dont see anything on tap to your liking--so your options are pretty huge. You can also fill up your growler from whats on tap. Their bar fare is very good--cheese and meat plates and good nachos and seasonal items. Staff is dedicated and extremely knowledgeable and great personalities. Highly recommend for people who like to try new beers or wines and want to support local businesses.

They have good brew. I recommend you try the Meade, honey wine that is. Also, get the nachos with beer cheese, amazing!
