Went in and oh my gosh, its much bigger than the one where I moved from in Hampton VA. I had to search for the things I wanted to purchase. I found something for both girls for Christmas. I got quilt batting but will make that quilt for the grand daughter later. One lives in Huddleston and the other lives in Alabama. They are the blankets that you tie together, she loves unicorns right now, it was the only one.

Joann has been a local staple store for fabrics and crafts for many years.They offer a large assortment of quilting and appeal fabrics ( personal favorites).Weekdays in the afternoon are the best times to visit.

They have great decorations, coupons, sales, fabric selections and discount seasonal items very well!

Kind staff, little bit of an item stocking issue (alot of stuff seems to be sold out) but otherwise a great place to go for need it now craft supplies

Shopping here with my granddaughter for her first sewing project. We had so much fun looking at patterns, at fabric. Understaffed but people who were there very helpful.

Needed something to make a dollhouse-size shower curtain and mini towels so visited JoAnns on Christmas Eve. Floor staff showed me where to find what I needed. Items are easy to find. Also found some beads on sale to make a mini vase for the kitchen table & made a light fixture out of the other set of beads. The porch isnt completed yet & I still have to attach the satellite dish!

Im not a real crafty kind of a guy but every time I need something and Im given advice to go to JoAnns I have found what it was that I needed. You cant beat that. Not to mention the friendly and knowledgeable customer service oeot.

I found exactly what I wanted. Michaels didnt have it. I told the associate I wanted press board/sticky board and she didnt know what i was talking about. Joannns always has what I want. The associate even used 2 coupons for me and she was so pleasant. Wonderful job...thank you!

Very well laid out, with items clearly marked with price, and organized in good locations. Staff was not very helpful, and did not ask if I needed help with anything. But overall, a good experience.

Busy place on a Saturday. Went in to look at the sewing machines at the Viking Sewing Center inside Joann Fabrics. Bought a Husqvarna machine. Will keep you posted on how well it does.

If arts and crafts are your thing, this store has it all. My mom loves this store. They have a wifmde variety of yarns also what they dont have they can get shipped to the store or your front door.

Many items in their store do not have price tags on the shelves or the item, thats definitely an area they could improve on. Thats really my only complaint. I hope physical stores like this stay open, so many stores that specialize end up closing down and I just like to go browse and leave with $50+ worth of stuff.

I simply love this craft store. There are so many genres of art supplies. All of the associates are knowledgeable and very kind. I suggest going at lease once a week.

Not very many employees to help customers on floor or at registers. Although the one I talked to was very nice and helpful. They had one cashier, and I believe I only saw one or 2 on the floor and that was in the patterns and seeing section. No one asked if I needed help, I finally had to interrupt the cashier and they told me where to look. As I said nice but very thin on workers to help customers on floor.

Nothing is priced, i got a spool of thread 9.96 are you kidding, im getting a refund for that

Fabulous fabrics, craft supplies & always great sales..But the best thing is the staff whos knowledge & helpfulness is only second to their kindness.. Its not just a place to find fabric & sewing materials if you need a unique gift for someone or home decor even crafts & toys that teach your children to create & learn its the perfect place..My Grandchildren dont ask to go to the mall or toy stores when theyve earned a few dollars helping Nana.. Nope they want to go to JOANNS.. They have been devoted customers in there own right since ages 4 & 5 yrs old & still going strong @ 8 & 9 yrs old.

The decorations change with each season and theres something new each year. Joanns never disappoints in fabric selection. From the softest fleece, to the silky smooth fabric I need for my hair. I am very unsatisfied with there curbside pick up for the reason they do not have your items for pick up on the same day you purchase. You have to wait for an email giving you times when to come. That email nevet arrived but my credit card was charged. I understand the demand but if you cant handle that demand either hire more people or clearly post you will have to wait days to come. I knew it was not a good idea to use this service .Will not purchase from this location again.

They tend to have great sales and coupons weekly. The only downside is that the coupons can be slightly confusing and the signs always have itty bitty print for any exclusions, so always double check your stuff! Other than that customer service is great and they have a mostly wide selection of craft products.

Great place to find fabrics and sewing essentials and also a variety of crafting supplies. Its also nice to be able to order online and pick it up in the store.

They always have a great selection of whatever Im shopping for. From yarn or beads to rubber stamps and fabrics of all types. Regardless of the project Im working on, JoAnns is always my first stop. They always seem to have a great sale going on as well! Todays sale was 70% off of select items and 40% off of one regular priced item. Also conveniently located on the upper level of Towers mall.

Joann giving out free kits to make face masks for medical professionals is a wonderful way to support the community. Big fan of this place now.

Can be disorganized and a couple of employees have been rude regularly. The online site and delivery to home or store pick up can be super annoying. But they do get a lot of the items I am looking for and have great coupons so Im glad its here but could use some improvement.

The restocjung is bad. Continually out of items. The last time I went there, the clerk didnt want to honor my coupon because it didnt come up in her app...a manager overheard the conversation and told her to honor my legitimate coupon.Things that make me go hmm....

A pretty good sized Joanns. At first look it didnt seem like that much fabric but the shelves were crammed full and they did have a really large selection. Lots of craft stuff and Wilton and the like. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and selection.

I went there to browse the home decor. Even at 30% to 50% off, the prices were incredibly high. I also looked in the crafts section. The selection was not as varied and well-stocked as other craft stores in the area. I did not purchase anything.

I live far away from Joann fabrics in Roanoke VA I live in Rocky Mount Va of Franklin county va. We use to have good fabric stores here but now reduced to wal mart which they close for a long time there fabric area I the store but now returned with fabric 100 percent cotton only other than upholstery not a good selection like Joann Fabrics which I love and go to when I can make the way. We need a Joanns here. Thank you.

Not my favorite place to shop. The employees are not very friendly and the prices are high. If there was another option for fabrics in my town I wouldnt bother with JOANNS. I get better customer service from the other customers than I do from the employees.

This was my first time going to Joanns and my last! The prices are rediculous! Ill stick with going to AC Moore (until they go out of business) and Michaels! What surprised me the most is its not just 1 or 2 things more expensive it was everything! The red heart heart yarn is $1 more than Walmart! Being a craft store I thought they would have better!!

Got fleece to make lap quilts for the veterans at the hospital at 75% off..so was able to buy 4 times as much

I go for craft supplies. Overall the crafty things are overpriced compared to other craft stores. It has a huge fabric selection, not what I buy so not sure about the price. Staff are always very helpful and nice. The checkout lines are usually long and slow.

Best option without shopping online or driving 30 mins outside of town. They dont always have the best fabric selection or best prices but coupons help. Staff is nice yet seem overworked...

I usually like this store except for the long checkout lines. Please stop using bar code labels that dont come off without leaving a sticky residue. I bought some mason jars today with the labels on the lids that left a horrible residue. I wanted to put a personalized label on the lids, but will need to get industrial strength adhesive removal for the residue from the store label. If you must use those horrible labels, please put them on the bottom of the jars!

I always have a long wait to check out and when I am on my lunch it causes me to avoid coming. The lady who checked me out today was great!

Love this store!

A large variety of art and craft materials. I am able to find items there that I am not able to find elsewhere. The reason I did not give it 5 🌟 is because where the bus stops are now located. Before I could go into this store and catch the same bus going baxk into the station. Now I have to wait an hour for the next bus.

I am a quilter and this is the best place for fabrics and supplies in the area. Salespeople are very knowledgeable. Great place for shopping for all seasons deals!
