Even when things were delayed or issues came up (all things out of their control), they owned it and resolved it. They earned every high praise with their work ethic and pride of work. My contractor suggested that I go to the Richmond store to work with May. After our first meeting I realized why Cecil drove the hour to Richmond. May quickly helped me design a perfect layout for my kitchen remodel. I changed my mind several times on style and color. May was always responsive and patient with my changes offering suggestions at times that helped make the remodel beautiful. Jay led a crew of skilled workers who completed the job quickly and professionally. I noticed a spot that I thought needed touch up on one of the cabinets. When I went to point it out one of the workers had already corrected it. I highly recommend this team for any work you may need.

May was incredible to work with. She was very patient and really listened to what we wanted when designing our kitchen. She also worked extra hard to make sure we hit our deadline. I used Panda Kitchen to remodel and install a new kitchen. From start to finish, I experienced the perfect level of support, transparency, and professionalism in getting the job done. May Cheung is a ROCK STAR! I came in for our first meeting with a few layout sketches on graph paper; she was able to take my ideas and generate renderings and a floor plan of what my new kitchen would be...and it only took her about 2 days to put it together! I was not only impressed by her speed and dedication, but also the outstanding quality of her work. She walked me through exactly what she had put together, as well as shared her thought process on why she added drawers, shelves, and cabinets in certain places (things that I never even considered). Even when I changed my mind on certain aspects (more than once), she was more than willing to map out examples of what I was pondering to help me make the best decision. Once we landed on a date for install, she constantly stayed engaged to ensure I was happy with the plan and ready for the cabinets to go in. The installation process was quick, easy, and on time with zero issues. We are so happy with the final product and couldnt have dreamed of a better experience. Im very happy with the outcome of my kitchen. Everyone I interacted with was professional. The products are quality.May designed our kitchen. She came up with a great design for our space. She suggested really thoughtful add ons such as roll outs for base cabinets and a pull out spice rack. Through out the process May was easy to work with and made the process straightforward.Installation times are scheduled in advance and they did not change. The cabinet and counter installers were here on time all three days they were supposed to show up.Overall I highly recommend working with Panda Kitchen and Bath.

We contracted with Panda Kitchen & Bath to initiate a complete remodel our kitchen, which had not seen a facelift in several years. Pandas guidance was invaluable with their specialty (cabinets and countertops) and they connected us with great folks to help us with the rest of the project - electrical, plumbing, floor, painting, etc (we look forward to the completion of the rest of the project in a couple of weeks). Pandas own cabinet & countertop crew was always punctual, worked diligently, and at the end of a day was very good about cleaning up the work site. After having our doubts about a quote on a kitchen remodel from Home Depot, we decided to try Panda Kitchen and Bath. We are so astoundingly glad we did! The people at Home Depot had tried to scare us off from getting another quote, saying that wed have to find our own contractor and coordinate between the contractor and Panda Kitchen and what a nightmare it would be. But Jake helped us with the decisions and design, answering questions and reworking the design when we asked for changes, and providing patient and clear explanations (because we really didnt know much about kitchen models). Another amazing part of the experience was Jakes recommendation of Ryson Renovations, a contractor that they often worked with. I think the people a company works with speaks a lot to the quality of the work being done. Ryson Renovations is a solid contracting company and we never had to stress about anything! Between Jake from Panda and Jason from Ryson Renovations, everything was coordinated without a hassle, questions were answered, adjustments we made, and I had not a worry the entire time! Panda Kitchen & Bath has proven to be amazing for us on multiple projects. Thirteen years ago they installed cabinets and granite in our kitchen which held up incredibly well for our family of 5. When we decided it was time to renovate recently to lighten up our space, May and Jay Cheung came over and provided us with great ideas on how to update without having to replace everything. May met with us on several occasions to finalize plans and to make sure our new kitchen was going to meet our needs. As always, the cabinets and granite were installed on time with precision. Our new bathroom vanity is gorgeous and we were beyond thrilled with the installation crew and new quartz top. I liked how they lined up the veining between pieces so it looks really nice. But the number one reason I would recommend Panda is that the designer I worked with was the best I met with (and I consulted with at least five companies before selecting one). I did not want a standard vanity for our space (60) because it comes with 12 drawers that did not meet our needs. Jake suggested more than one great solution for this, and eventually we ended up with 15 drawers that work really well for us. He also helped me plan the project so an electrician will be installing a plug for the hair dryer in the drawer, which I am also very excited for. Our previous wood shelf is now an easy to clean quartz, and we were able to customize the size of the backsplash. Additionally, we have more counter space between the sinks than we would have under a standard design. He is very creative and solutions oriented -- I never heard no, we cant do that, I always heard this is what we can do and he always listened to what our needs were. We also really love having the slow close drawers and plywood (not MDF) frame. I highly recommend this company!

Working with May at Panda Kitchen & Bath was such an enjoyable process. We just had our kitchen countertops replaced with gorgeous white quartz and our kitchen already looks completely different. We still have some updating to do but I can’t wait to share pictures once it’s all done! During installation, the installers noticed there was some damage to one of the cabinets; however, they assured me that they would replace when they returned for countertop installation. Installation of the countertops was quick and the installers very professional and they also brought my replacement cabinet. May called to make sure I was completely satisfied and even made sure the installers returned the same day to fix a slight issue with the countertop. May was such a pleasure to work with! It only took a few days before I received a design from her and it was perfect. The install team was on time and installed the kitchen cabinets and counter all in one day. I would recommend Panda Kitchen and Bath to anyone. These clowns were hired to come in and install a new countertop. 1 of 2 things happened, either the estimator measured incorrectly or their installation crew has no idea what theyre doing. Countertops are not installed a quarter inch off of the wall. After bringing this to their attention they say its in their contract that theres going to be gaps along the wall. Everybody understands there can be valleys in between studs in the sheetrock. That would be no problem thats expected and it happens but you do not install a countertop a quarter inch off of the wall so that the wall tile can slide behind it. They did absolutely nothing to fix their mistake. Their response was its the next guys problem they can feather the wall out. Are you kidding me!?!? Pass it along to the next guy. Pad the wall out!?!? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Passing your screw up along to the next trade because youre too incompetent to do your job. You get what you pay for with these people. Buyer be aware. Youve been warned.

Very great experience from start to finish. I needed a new granite counter for a new home that had an awful one in place. I was amazed at how quickly Jake at Panda’s West Broad office in Richmond could show me the basics and we quickly arrived at the right decisions. Everything was boiled down so simply. It ended up being a lot of decisions I wasn’t prepared to even think about, but jake made it easy to figure out! Once it came time to get the job done, the individual doing the measuring came out, right on time and was done in 20-30min. And 10 days later, the truck with the counters and crew appeared (also right on time)! The entire install for nearly 70ft of granite was about 1.5-2hrs, with removing the old junky counter. Difference is night and day and it really couldn’t be easier !

From start to finish May was attentive to all the details of my major kitchen remodel. What can I say about this company but WOW!!! From the start of my project (meeting with May to select the counter top) to measuring the counter top (working with Jay) to confirming my installation date (working with Molly) to the actual installation (the guys from Norfolk) everyone at Panda Kitchen was A-MA-ZING. Such a dedicated staff!!On the day of my installation, the day hurricane Michael struck VA (10/11/18), the crew was there first thing in the morning to install my counter top. On the first attempt to install the section that contained the cook top, my counter top broke. YIKES!! But did this crew miss a beat? Not at all. Jay called their warehouse in Norfolk and within a few hours a new counter top arrived.By this time, the hurricane had touched down in Richmond and the rain was pouring down. Despite this, the crew continued to work stating We are going to finish your installation tonight, Ms. Johnson. Are you kidding me?!?!?!?I am so impressed with their we are not going home until the job is finished, and finished right attitude. BTW, the installation wasnt complete until around 9pm that night and the installers had to drive back to Norfolk. Jay, stayed until close to 10pm to complete the installation by sealing the granite.May, Jay, Molly and installers, you have won a customer for life. Jay came out to our home within a couple of days to take precise measurements of our kitchen space and visited each day to ensure everything went smooth during installation and to lend a hand. I cant say enough good things about Panda Kitchen and Bath. I wanted to rebuild a kitchen island that had a raised breakfast bar into one that has a single level. This was an island they had installed for a previous owner in 2009. Visited Pandas showroom, had them redesign the island, manufacture all the new panels and granite top. Installed them all in one short day with the new sink in a professional and timely manner. It looks great and was just what I was looking for. I highly recommend Panda Kitchen and Bath.

Molly was wonderful to work with. I came in with a pretty simple vision of upgrading a kitchen keeping the same layout of appliances, etc. and Molly helped with some design upgrades of cabinet placement and other ideas to really maximize the space. We wanted simple shaker cabinets and a nicer countertop than our laminate and Panda had enough of a choice for us to easily and quickly make our decisions. The cabinet install was quick and efficient and the countertops install was also fast and the end result looks great.

Significant other and I were looking to do kitchen remodel, tear wall down, do flooring and install a window.We had decided to go with May, at Panda, for the kitchen renovation due to having a few other contractors tell us about being unable to do the desired layout and for more money.May was very helpful in maximizing the design in our medium sized kitchen, including offering improved space efficiency and modernization.The employees that came out to do the work for Panda were timely, efficient, did not need to ask questions, just worked quickly and left after everything was satisfactory. We even had one employee return after leaving to fix a hinge on a cabinet to prevent it from opening too wide into next cabinet. This attention to details was not unnoticed.Panda also helped locate contractors to complete the rest of the remodels for the home, and were overall helpful throughout the process.I would highly recommend May and Panda, everything went smoother than expected for a fair price. I will likely want to use them for bathroom remodel in the future.

Panda Kitchen and Bath replaces the vanity in my powder room. I was able to pick what I wanted and get a quote as I waited in the showroom. They sent someone to measure to make sure my measurements were correct and then a team came out to install my vanity, sink, and countertops a couple of weeks later. It looks amazing! I also love how they coordinated with the plumber, so I didn’t have to make another call to get the plumbing installed. I’d use them again- it was so convenient!

We had a wonderful experience with Panda Kitchen and Bath Expo. Jake helped us design the kitchen of our dreams, taking our wish list and building a beautiful and practical kitchen model with tons of storage. The white and gray cabinets are solid and the soft close drawers and cabinet doors are wonderful. Jay and his install crews for the cabinets and granite were very efficient and paid attention to every detail, making sure we were completely happy with the end result. Simon built beautiful custom shelving units to maximize our existing space. We also love our wine rack which took advantage of a small strip of wall space that would have otherwise been wasted real estate. We were very happy that Panda suggested working with Ryson Renovations to handle the general contracting including the electrical, plumbing and tile work. Jason Foit and his crew were a joy to work with. The undercabinet lighting was the crowning touch to our beautiful new kitchen. We will certainly be returning to talk to Jake and Jason about our master bath remodeling project soon!

EThis business installed new granite countertops for my husband and I this March. From the moment we walked into the show room to selecting and following up with our materials, to installation afterwards, this business supported us. Specifically, May was wonderful! She made sure to thoroughly explain each step of the process and ensure that my husband and I got exactly the product we wanted.The individuals that install the granite were very professional, they installed almost 50 ft.³ of granite in under two hours. They removed our existing fixtures and counters with minimal mess and utmost professionalism.

I purchased kitchen cabinets and counter tops from Panda. The installation crew went to work as a team, paying attention to the smallest of details. Their workmanship is impeccable. I am Extremely pleased with their product and work. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best!

We totally remodeled a kitchen. Panda helped with the kitchen design/floorplan. They even set us up with an excellent contractor. Panda did all the cabinetry for the kitchen. When construction/demolition necessitated a change in cabinetry, they redid the design to accomodate it and redid the cabinetry to go with the altered design. Also, the cabinets are all real wood -- no pressboard/chipboard, When it came time for the installation, the installers were professional and FAST! We recommend them without reservation.

Went in with my parents to get them started on a kitchen remodel. We met May and she walked us through the showroom to let us see all available options. Once we made our choices, she designed a very nice setup which took advantage of our limited space. We approved and got ready for the install. The installers were very prompt and easy to work with. They were able to send someone out to our house later that same day to take measurements and he too was prompt, communicative and helpful. The install crew showed up on time and did an excellent job, they were tidy and efficient, even making some modifications to the counter for me on the spot. Even though we were only a small job (a counter top for one bathroom vanity) we were taken care of and never felt as though we were pushed off or slipped through the cracks. We shopped around at a few places to get pricing for new cabinets for our kitchen re-model, and we were very pleased with our experience with Panda Kitchen & Bath. We had a pretty custom kitchen renovation, and had to work around many odd dimensions and unforeseen conditions throughout the process, but May was excellent at coming up with a design that worked beautifully in the space. May had no problem tweaking the design and coming up with solutions to problems. In the end, the execution of the design was done perfectly.
