We’ve lived here for 2 years and enjoyed going to libbie market. We went there today and found no employees and very few customers wearing a mask. I find that appalling. In our household we believe in science. We will not be back!

Only thing missing is the Hanover peaches 🍑 🤤 & if they add vegan and vegetarian options more in the deli and dessert bar... mmm! Love coming here !

Thought libby was short for libertarian, much like myself. i drove my straight piped ford f-350 that doubles as a crypto mining rig on down and double parked in the only handicap spots available. got there and they wouldnt accept bitcoin as payment. no tendies for me today, chicken or otherwise

Small store packs a big bang for the buck. One of the best hot bars in the area. Like a whole foods Express market. Small but well thought out offering of just about anything you want to eat. Complete with coffee bar and dinning in area. Great customer service. Probably the best priced meal in the libbie area for the quality and quantity.

I love this place. They have things you cant find in an ordinary grocery store. Sandwiches are always fresh. Lots of dessert choices.

After working here I found out that the produce is not fresh & stored unproperly. Old & molded produce is mixed with fresh produce...there are a great amount of roaches & other bugs infestation in the storage & produce area..pipes and drains are clogged and overflowing around produce.each & every salad or preped directly next to dishwashing area where dishwater and chemicals are splashing inside the containers of food then placed on display.fruits and veggies are chopped up with no handwashing .piece p of food are dropped on the floor & placed back in the food...certian employees will not change or wash they clothes through out the week parking & space is congested where its many accidents. & Prices are very higher than normal because they price and reprice from distributor.sqeezed o.j machine hasnt been clean in decades for orange juice..

Its a good atmosphere and place for sandwiches and regional favorites. Its refreshing because you can tell that its run by locals and locals also shop here. No offense, but there are too many Northerners in our area now who dont understand Southern hospitality or cuisine.

Always look forward to going to the market. Amazing what they carry! Great wine selection. Picked up my Edwards ham - sliced and ready. Much more than a neighborhood market. A hidden gem.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The prepared foods are generally excellent. A bit claustrophobic at times, and the prices are a bit on the high side of reasonable, but thats mostly due to location and convenience. The selections are surprisingly broad given the size of the store.

I make a point to stop here every time I’m in Richmond. It is hands down one of the best places to get sandwiches and has an amazing deli. Their process is easy & fast, and their made to order sandwiches are amazing - and cheap! They also have some of the best gourmet snacks that you can’t get in other grocery stores. Love this place and will continue coming back to it when I’m in the area!

Theh have great food nice people if you get their try the lobster rolls or shrimp salad crazy good!

Went to kroger very hard apricots, Publix very few and bad apricots, finally went to Libbie Market and they were close to being over ripe but perfect for Jam.

Great selection of in-house made hot / cold meals, amazing sweets, plentiful selection of brand name goods, always a nice selection of produce. Friendly associates, and the checkout line always move reasonably quick. I just wish more people understood that their car will fit just fine in only one space...

Great little specialty market. Regular groceries plus a whole lot more. It is a Ukrops store with all of the goodies we love.

Staff is wonderful, polite, helpful. Watch your expiration dates. Peanut oil & veggie oil are leaking. I wish they carried carmel macchiato non dairy creamer I despise hazelnut & vanilla gets boring. They do a pretty good job for such a small store. I love a smaller store.

My experiences at Libby Market have not always been the best. A lot of the older employees (not all of them) have a very condescending and rude attitude towards customers that is just uncalled for. I’ve worked in customer service for years and it’s really not that hard to be professional/polite especially when that’s your job. There have been some awesome employees like Keith and Pete who have made the experience much more pleasant. I’d rather take my business to Food Lion than Libby Market.

For a small market, they have a great selection, and the employees are very friendly and helpful.

Great little old fashioned grocery store with great customer service. The store also has a wide selection of ready to eat items, a nice salad bar and a fine selection of wines.

Libbie Club sandwich is great. The pound cake was dry and tough.

If youre looking for organic or gluten free, its a good place to shop.

I love Libbie Markets cooked food, however the sweet potato casserole I ordered from the Thanksgiving dinner was extremely disappointing. It was two scoops of mashed sweet potatoes with maybe a little cinnamon. I could have baked sweet potatoes and seasoned them and would have been better, Needless to say they were not eaten.

Libbie Market is one reason we choose the location of our new home. It has many great values. Some of the higher price items are offset by the convenience. I recommend their ready to eat selection. The best discovery is they offer breakfast pizza. With the departure of Martins, I think Libbie Market may be the only place left in Richmond now offering breakfast pizza.

Friendly atmosphere and a large variety of food.

First time, last time going here. I bought a few of the seemingly good quality prepared foods. I was hungry so on my way driving home I started to dig into the deviled eggs I purchased... They were ok, I make better deviled eggs. But I was hungry... On reaching for the third, I glanced at the tray and noticed a large dead grasshopper (my friends think it was a roach) on top of one of the eggs and I nearly crashed. I called the store because I had just spent $30 on a bunch of stuff and a good part of it from their prepared food section, and I was not about to eat anything ever from here again. They were very nice, even came by my house to bring me my money back... They kept telling me that they buy the eggs from another vendor and its a mix (gross, how hard is it to make this yourselves) and that they only prepare in store. This is no excuse obviously since this dead thing was sitting on top of my egg.. I feel the management did what they could but its an experience I can never forgive.

I had a somewhat pleasant experience visiting Libbie Market. Nice staff, wonderful selection. Over the weekend, I had a very unpleasant encounter with a manager in front of the store. She had short grey hair, and a skirt, along with glasses. She was very rude and short with me, after I asked a question. She did not allow me to finish. Then, she walked away from me in the middle of our encounter, and I could not catch up. She seemed to have no idea what she was doing, walking around the store multiple times, I was actually quite uncomfortable. The next day, I came back in the morning, and asked a lovely, blonde lady in the deli where an item was. She was very pleasant and cooperative. She even walked me to the isle to find my coconut water.

It smells so good. The deli, fried chicken, bakery and friendly people were great

I called for a specific item and the price, after waiting patiently and getting passed around to three people I got the answers I was looking for...I said thank you very much and the phone was hung up quickly without a you are welcome or anything, so Im giving 3 stars only for the first three people that picked up their extension with a pleasant attitude.

I really love Libbie Market. Unlike many other shops in town, its just the right size, with a great selection of foods, both local and specialty. The staff is very friendly and the deli is fantastic. Ive managed to find the products of many local merchants here, which is great since it provides a centralized spot to shop for them, and there is not a huge mark-up on them. I love that I can sit and eat in the cafe and that the wine selection has never trumped the food options. Well done!

Friendly independent grocery with personal attention from staff. Some items are slightly higher than the megatron grocers, but personal attention makes it worthwhile to shop there. Carries the bacon I love and havent been able to find locally anywhere else.

It is so nice to know that there are still REAL BUTCHERS left in this world, especially here in Va. I was able to get the exact cut of meat I wanted, cut while I waited. Great customer service large selection if they dont have it they will get it for you. Thank you Libbie Market....I will be back!

Delicious prepared food. Very good salad bar. Nice selection of groceries for a small space. And, the very friendly employees.

The best thing about Libbie Market is the prepared foods. You can get breakfast or any other meal. The parking lot is usually packed but it never seems overly crowded inside. There are also a number of grocery items you cant find at some of the larger chains.

I love this place. Food is absolutely delicious. A little pricey so I only go once a month for lunch and I dont grocery shop there.

This is a great local market that is well stocked.They have a butcher which is hard to find and appreciated. It is also convenient to where I live and they stock Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches.

I dont think it is good to put down other businesses that are coming in town. Thats what the guy said in the meat department. We should support all businesses that are in the area even if theyre big or small. I think Publix is going to be a good business in this area. Its bringing back ukrops values. Wheres the values at Liberty market.

Good but expensive,hot bar outrageously high.Clean and neat.Restroom nice.In early evenings kids from schools in area ,are rude and disrespectful to other customers.Guess they were brought up to think they are better than everyone else.
