Todd in the floor covering department was awesome. Very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Handled multiple customers quickly and took care of all of our needs. Employees like Todd keep me returning to Menards!

The selection of products far exceeds other hardware stores. its close to the freeways and easy to get too. So much stuff to look at, a trip here easy takes me an hour. Lots of goodies during the holidays. Menards has is all!

Unsafe masking! 4 staff near customers with mask below their noses....Doesnt help control the pandemic much does it? Clean store but the dont follow their own covid rules. The rest of the staff were masked properly.

Fantastic because of customer service! Six employees greeted me on the floor.Of those six, three asked if I needed help(Fred, Jim, and a guy stocking pet food). Jim also took the time to walk me to the product I needed.Another employee gave me a compliment.Usually employees run away from customers at my local stores.I also seen a stuffed moose driving the floor cleaner and it brightened my day (my first time seeing an autonomous floor scrubber)! I took a picture to show the kids. It should be a store mascot!

It was fine, was in store for quite a bit of stuff. Needed help twice, each time I was directed exactly where product was. Clean store

Came here to get something paint matched. He asked how much paint I needed and what quality, so I said whatever the cheapest one was as I only needed to paint a small cabinet door that was only being temporarily used. After some back and forth he paint matched it and gave me a whole quart of whatever their premium plus brand was... the exact opposite of what I asked for. Needless to say I didnt buy it and went somewhere else. What a waste of time.

I frequently shop at this store, I wish I could give it five stars as the employees are great. They get one star as I also frequently deliver to this store, whomever designed it failed miserably. The docks are tight and you are required to back in off the street and to do so you must block two lanes of the four lane running on the north side of the store and contend with people coming up the street on the east side of the store who think you can see them and that little widened out spot where the front of your truck needs to go is the perfect place to pass you while you are backing. They’ll even run up along side you and sit there and expect you to pull back out onto the four lane to let them by. That street should be closed to traffic or menards should move.

Useful store with lots of things we need most weekends, pretty clean and well laid out. The main issue is the parking lot. The parking lot here is awful and many times we will go elsewhere to not have to deal with it as most things found at Menards can be found at other stores with better parking lots

The team back in special orders has their stuff together. I received excellent customer service a few days back. Denise at the Customer Service desk and a gentlemen from special orders in particular handled my dilemma with professionalism and skill. Thanks! I had an order ready for pick-up at the wrong store. This store was willing and able to help. Thats a trusting place to shop!

Clean and quiet on Sunday morning at 8am. Great time to go

Menards is the ONLY place I could find front drive wheels for my old lawn mower. I checked Home Depot and even went all the way out to fleet farm. Neither had what I was looking for.They were universal by BRUTE and SO close (maybe .5cm too large) to fit my specific mower. Unfortunately the original manufacturer part has been discontinued so Ill have to eventually get a new mower.

The personnel were really polite and helpful and honestly the prices made me jump of happiness! I honestly saved so much money!

You need a gameplan going into here. Know exactly what you are getting and then one of two things: go to where you think it is and get lost or just ask an employee. Save yourself time and annoyance. Rarely will a worker ask if I need help. The selection and pricing though are great though dont get me wrong. Checkout times might be a bit long but that goes with this huge store.

Wast offered any help as usual, but prior to that, I received some janky costumer service during a item return. They wont give you cash back, so dont use a debit/credit card if you anticipate returning an item. Just like walmart, all menards werent created equal. This isnt a good location

Either way, she was AN ANGEL dealing with my mom, she was so patient with her and was so nice in answering her questions and my mom isn’t the most pleasant to work with.Thank you Sammie/Tammie for all your help and kindness my mom and I appreciated that!

Just wanted to people know about the customer service I received at the. Menards in Richfield. Was told I could have customer service print the rebate receipt for a $600 purchase. When it was my turn, after I waited in the customer service line, the customer service representative was extremely annoyed I had bothered her with it. She called a manager over who proceeded to tell me that the representative would need to wait on every person in line behind me before she would print the rebate. I guess my business is not as valued as others. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Always has what I need, and unfortunately according to my wife... A LOT of things I didnt need. Lol

No one here knows where anything is in their store and never is willing to help. Just go to home depot, dont waste your time here.

Decided to try something new on a cold cranky day. So off I went to Menards and picked up copper pipes in a variety of sizes and angles, a metal work light, a thick piece of cedar wood for the base and a super cool vintage looking light bulb thats bigger than my hand. All the things needed to make a handmade floor lamp! Glad they had all the items in the store so I didnt need to make multiple stops. The staff was more than patient with me as I explained the unique design and helped me locate the items needed. Photos coming soon..... Thanks Sean and lighting guy!!!

This is my favorite store. I love almost everything about it except their 11% off rebate sales. Otherwise it’s my go to store for tools, garden, home stuff, and sometimes even pizza.

We ordered steel shelving and not only were the boxes visibly open and damaged, but they gave us the wrong size and a shelf with bent rails. Pretty much an abject failure all around.

Menards has expanded the range of items stocked to a point where I comparison shop them against stores I wouldnt have thought about in the past.

Parking lot is a mess, always overcrowded. Staff isn’t especially helpful or friendly, a lot of standing around chatting and not approaching customers asking if they need help.

I originally went to the Midway Menards to get food for our two dogs but the brand we wanted was out of stock at that store. One of the employees, Maria,, checked to see if any of their stores in the Twin Cities had what we were searching for and gave us contact numbers for the stores. Menards in Richfield had two bags of the dog food we needed and one of their employees was kind enough to save them for us. Thirty minutes later we had the food and some other items we wanted. Thank you Menards employees for the the wonderful customer service.

This was my first time in this store & let me tell everyone something, TGIS PLACE IS AWESOME, UNBELIEVABLE, ASTONISHING, & ANY & EVERY OTHER WORD YOU CAN POSSIBLY YELL, LOL. Children under 2 and can walk must wear a mask per Menards policy. This does go AGAINST the CDC recommendations.My son and I went in to get some items for planting. We talked to several employees and not one of them mentioned that my son that is 16 months had to wear a mask. As we proceeded to check out the cashier told me that my son was required to wear a mask. I let her know he is under 2 and CDC recommendations currently state that children under 2 should not wear masks. She told me Menards policy is anyone under the age of two and can walk must wear a mask. I told her well leave because obviously were not welcome here. We ended up not purchasing anything we got and now our large summer projects will be going to home depot because of this policy.

Its okay but the place is a labyrinth that wastes your time trying to get you to impulse shop, fellow shoppers are savages stealing your cart and driving like maniacs in the parking lot! Prices are similar to Lowes or home depot so choose the experience that will leave you the least frustrated amongst then!

No one ever answers the phone in plumbing department! Three times it rang for over 5 minutes!

Bought the wrong size lawn chair cover. They had no problem returning it and refunding my money. The down side was the right size was out of stock.

Terrible what can I say its Menards grocery, building supply and pretty much anything else you can think of besides cars. I wish someone could bring back Knox lumber oh how I miss that place.

CARPET CLEANERS ARE DISGUSTING. BROKEN PARTS.When I brought it home the inside of both tanks had old mildew filled water. The dirty water side smelled horrendous and I gagged dumping it down the toilet.I had to run the lines in my tub for several minutes before the clean water smelled clean due to the mildew inside the hoses.Not to mention the pieces dont connect properly due to how old the machine is, and so the suction is tampered with.Does not clean the way it should and it was disgusting. Almost didnt even want to use the machine but I had to clean up a spill on my bed mattress asap.Will not be coming here again for rentals.I almost want to ask for a refund but its not worth the hassle.The employees should be making sure the machines function properly and arent in disgusting shape.

Im thankful that Menards had the item I was looking for. I had been to several different stores. The one thing that I noticed was that when I asked an associate where the item was, he acted like he didnt want to help at first. I understand that there is a pandemic going on, but trying to get away from me doesnt help.

You cannot get any faster at a Menards at 630 AM CT. In and out. Fast.I would add that the power tool section, sanders and sandpaper was especially low in supply, limited choices.Checkout was and most always quick and courteous.

The Richfield Menards is great, always clean and large enough where you will most likely find what you need. Their customer service staff is very helpful, to the point they helped me shop from a list for a carpentry student. My only qualm, would be their rule not allowing any kids into their store even if they are with their parents during covid 19. My daughter & I had to wait outside while a family member over 70 had to shop on their own due to this rule. It was/is pretty ridiculous.

Store does not carry replacement filters for air purifier that they sell. If your going to sell a product you should carry the parts needed to maintain it!!

Went to get zip ties and double sided tape. Ended up leaving with some Sprecher Maple Rootbeer too. Cant ever pass up the Sprecher section. Its impossible... DARN YOU MENARDS, lol.

Last day of 11% off this year. Shopping was easy just had a few things to pick up. Got to see all the Black Friday merchandise going up. Will be in line at 6 am Friday for those.

Probably one of the worst Menards I have been to, service was terrible/ finding assistance was nearly impossible. Upon finding an employee I asked if he was able to HELP me locate a product, he proceeded to explain how the product was “PROBABLY” not out so it will take him a long time not insinuating he was willing to help or anything. Resulting in me to ask him “are you available to help or are you busy” his response was “I mean I can help, I’m going to the desk first so you can follow” and walked off. The only service I was anticipating for my visit on 9.14.2020 was to help locate an item the website said they have! Ended up leaving due the the inconvenience. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BURNSVILLE LOCATION!!!

I came with my piano music to play the piano they have at the top of the escelator. I was promptly told I was not allowed to do so. Its a small thing but it was just kind of sad. Whats the harm in letting someone play music?This event, along with several other annoyances such as never having hand baskets for customers, and just generally a hard to navigate store have made me a pretty solid home depot customer from here on out.

Love menards. More need indoor lumber yards like this one. Quality of straight wood still not great but saves time by not having to drive around and go through security for just a couple boards. Also this location tends to be super busy.

Nobody socially distancing or being very considerate, ultimately, when it came to their holiday selections. Ive been to Menards twice since the pandemic started and this was not the better of the experiences. Very crowded. Long lines.

Hard not to find something youll need there! ... Does every hardware store have a grand piano? Nope, but this one does - for real!

This place has basically anything you could ever need, but it can be quite difficult finding something. A lot of the workers there that I’ve interacted with aren’t very helpful and don’t know much about anything to put it bluntly.

Everyone was wearing a mask! Unlike other stores Ive been in since social distancing, Menards had a person at the entrance gate checking for face masks. If you didnt have one you could buy one right there at the service desk. Very impressive.

I paid for picking service, which amounts to curbside delivery. The service was quick and friendly. My single complaint is that the signage for the pickup area is non-existent. Its marked only as the lumber yard.

I went in this evening to get a replacement cover for my kitchen ceiling fan light. They had a great selection to choose from. They price was fantastic!

To say this place offers delivery is a fallacy. Orders come from the factory and take months and all Menards does is collect the money.The reason I gave them one star is the fridge I bought and was told I had two weeks to pick up was GONE two days later, and most of the employees I interacted with about this seemed perplexed that this situation would bother me.Not only wasted my time but also the people who had volunteered to help me..Second time in two months that I was driven to Warner Stellion. Locally owned and they actually deliver.

This is a good place, lots of choices and decent amount of help from the friendly staff.
