Extremely rude cashiers. A cashier was finishing up with a customer and shouted at me that she was dealing with said customer. Ok, no problem for me, I will be next. However, she said that she would not serve me, without giving an explanation. I gest it was her break time, but I only had one book; it would have taken seconds. She may have had to go to the bathroom or something so that I could understand that. Unfortunately, there was no other cashier to be seen....she could have asked for one.In frustration, and with no way of buying the book, I slammed it down on the counter. The cashier and customer started talking about why I was mad. My bathroom idea was also false because I could see them talking while I walked to my car and sat there fuming.I used to like the shop, but ill have to go back in disguise. The shop cant be blamed for one person.

Well Reno Sparks Area Now Only Has One Savers Thrift Store Its In Reno On Peckem & Kietize !! You Would Really Think Since The Store In Sparks Closed That The Reno Sore Would Have Alot More Thing In The Store Then It Does! No black people allowed to use the restroom!The minute they saw me come in they hid the restroom keys and told me somebody must have them.When a white guy asks for it right after me they give it right to them!

This shop provides everything from donations, but the price keeps rising, even if there are discounts, the price is similar to warmart. So I had to choose to go to other small economy stores. Just like Our Garage thrift store, The offer and Goodwill...

Large inventory, well organized. I always find some kind of bargain or treasure.

Been shopping here for years and now a corporate decision was made to remove the fitting rooms. Now there is no point if you cant try anything on. I will not be donating anything either. This is not helping local people in America. If they dont sell it they will box it up and send it overseas.

I sent my son to Savers to get some golf shorts and shirts. He came home with both. However, savers charged him $15 for the short and $10 for the shirt. Really? He could get new items for that at Walmart. Common Savers, really?

Savers has always been my favorite thrift store because their prices were appropriate to what was being sold. This has changed quite a bit. Their prices on things is going up and sometimes its only a few bucks different from new. This is why I quit going to Salvation Army. If you are putting out things NWT thats one thing but putting things out that are stained and raggedy for a ridiculous price is out of line.

Its clean and well organized, but the prices have increased sharply lately. Everyone is friendly though, and its a big store with a wide selection of secondhand goods.

Nice employees, prices are fair, store is clean. Not happy about not having changing rooms but they do let you return items that didnt fit, as long as the tags are still on.

Its so over priced. If you can walk in there and find products you can go else where a purchase cheaper and brand new, you should walk out just like we did...they wanted $5 for the $2.50 fleece blankets you can buy at Walmart. One glass cup shouldnt cost over $2. To buy the matching set would be equivalent to buying a brand new set anywhere else.

The store is usually well-stocked with a wife variety of items. This is not a place to find junk, but rather good items that other folks simply no longer wanted. Everything works, including the staff who are very friendly.

The Sparks Savers off of Oddie is permanently closed. Yes, the lights are still on, & theres still merchandise in the store. Im assuming this location no longer accepts donations, either. The Savers location off of Kietzke is still open.It makes me a bit sad, as I used to shop at this Savers every weekend with my mom as a kid. Heck, most of the furniture in my moms house is from this location over the years. Oh well. This side of town is rolling down the garbage hill pretty fast, honestly.

Been a shopper here for years and loved it. But In the last few months they have been pricing items way too high. I was looking at an item discussing the price with my wife and an employee chimed in with thats what they are going for online. Why would a store that gets its items DONATED be charging online price? Or even half that? They need to go back to the original prices they were charging or they are going to loose a lot of customers.

Anyone who knows me knows this is my favorite store in Reno-I call it a boutique. Don’t go if you don’t feel like it and if your in a hurry you can’t really rush through this place. I always start at Knick Knacks then swing through clothing and lastly end up in shoes. I purchase most of my casual everyday wear, ski, hiking, biking, outdoor clothing and a lot of interesting and useful housewares. Merchandise can be returned within 7 days with original tags and receipts.

Good selection just a little pricey.

The closing staff is always patient with us late shoppers.

The sales are really good and the customer service is pretty good. That said, the store does have a lot of areas where it is lacking. The non-sale prices are rather high for a USED goods store, as other reviewers have pointed out, there are times that you can find the same products new for the same price (or close to). The store does get a bit disorganized (but I guess that is the nature of the beast). And, while the cashiers are very friendly and do their best to keep up, often times there just arent enough of them. The biggest issue with this place though, and why they fall under the category of I want to like them, but just cant, is that I somewhat routinely find stuff with improper size tags attached.

Athena and Mary were so lovely to talk to, made it so nice to shop and not feel like we were burdening their day just for shopping. I also got a jacket, t-shirt, and movie for super cheap. My friend got a bunch of VHS tapes for $3 total.

I think this is the best thrift store in Reno. They always have quality items and lots of sizes and styles plus furniture and other small appliances and toys. They have a nice clean bathroom and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have periodic sales for members so make sure you join up

Offers used good from donations to Boys & Girls club. Would be a really good place to shop, l found some things I would have bought but their prices are very high, almost retail if not above. If they lower the prices I would surely return.

1st the good news... The 2 female cashiers and an male employee were great...friendly and helpful... The store itself was sorta messy... The worst thing about the place and why I wont return was the prices...the exact plastic baskets you can get at the Dollar store for a dollar was 1.99 at Savers and they looked used on top of that...they think a lot of their used items to ask what they ask for them...Ill stick to Salvation Army...

This has to be the cleanest & best selection location but your security guard really got on my nerve like I was either the only customer, he cared for my safety or thought I was stealing or gonna steal and this was our first time there after just moving here months prior, and every time I looked up, HE WAS RIGHT THERE! They have a lot of discounts and nice items. I like shopping there sometime . I bought a nice table with chair and it cost me $30 for all that. The lady in front of the registrater was really nice to. Thanks. Im going to keep shopping there again.

BEST place for costume shopping and best thrift store with lots of clothing options for men, women, and children. I do not have luck in the home goods sections but that is always hit or miss at a thrift store. If you are looking for a wide selection of clothes check Savers out.

I have found random costume goodness, household items, roller skates, and who knows what else I have floating around..or what I bought and then re-donated, because why did I buy that??The 50% off on holidays cant be beat as long as you are willing to shank or beat someone to get what you want. Seriously, youll have to throw an elbow or two and possibly a hip check.What I really dislike about Savers is the way they mark up their clothing. They price according to brand, not item. The Goodwill puts all of their pants on a rack and prices the rack. Everything is donated and a lot of the time the people shopping there are doing so because they are on a budget. Why would you price used jeans at $25 when you got them for free? That system seems severely flawed to me. Ive pretty much stopped supporting them for that reason.

Ive never been so insulted in my life. I used to go shopping in savers a couple times a year until today. A lady walks up to me and tells me that Ive been kicked out of there multiple times for shop lifting! I said you have the wrong person. She tells me that security is watching me and they have me on video. I asked I would like to see this video. She tells me we cant show you and proceeds to tell me that I can continue shopping. At this point Im shaking Im so insulted! Shame on savers security for making a valued costumer feel so horrible! I will make sure to give bad reviews on every site I can for this!

How can you give ANY PLACE less than 5 Stars when you can buy a whole wardrobe for $200!ALSO, where else can you buy your favorite brands (true religion, AG, Guess, BeBe, FreePeople) for a tenth of what youd pay at the mall? Been shopping at Savers since 1983 in Huntington Beach. Theyve been around a long time.

The store is often cluttered, messy, and seems understaffed. The staff overall are nice and friendly. You can find pretty good deals, but buyer beware. I found a light up Buddha statue that was listed for $20 when amazon had it brand new for the same price. The have housewares as well that the glasses appear the same from the dollar store. You can find great deals on shelving, tables, chairs, and other furniture which is usually clean. The clothing is hit or miss but you have a huge selection to dig through. Bottom line is dont have huge expectations going in, you get what you pay for.
