Craig and his team are fantastic and make you feel warm and welcomed during your shopping experience in the store.

After it was close, the old post office now houses west elm furniture. It occupies the first floor of the building while the basement has various restaurants. There are lots of elegant and affordable home decors and furniture to choose from.

Very nice set up and very nice items. Wheelchair access in the North parking lot by Center Street.

The GM of this place and/or this building is a God awful human being and I highly recommend never supporting his business. I feel bad for any of the tenants here. Even if you were having a bad day, its still no excuse to threaten to call the cops and verbally abuse someone for a simple misunderstanding about the parking. Shameful performance of human decency.

Let me tell you about this West Elm location.I ordered an 8x5 Diamond Deco Rug a little before 8/22/17 from the main West Elm site and after a month later, I inquired why tracking stopped on 8/22/17. The last location the rug was at was Mesquite, TX and this was a little before hurricane Harvey hit. West Elm refunded me in full and suggested I try this Reno, Nevada store which had 3 in stock.Best suggestion ever.I was greeted on the phone by Jessica, who made sure she physically located the rug in question before placing my order over the phone. Excellent customer service, but THEN! she did something the Cherry Creek store in Denver and the Atlanta store didnt.The most gorgeous bone inlay desk was on clearance from the main website AND an extra 20% off; however I could not complete the order due to an out of stock message. I called my local West Elm in Denver who didnt have it and could not source it from another store regionally, so I called up Atlanta. Same thing, except they let me know a warehouse on the West Coast had it in separate pieces.So I asked Jessica if by any chance they could locate this desk. They didnt have it in store but she did go above and beyond with her store manager to order this desk for me from the warehouse and make sure I could get the furniture I had my heart set on.I am so beyond impressed with the level of customer service I received from this West Elm location.Thank you,Brittany PDenver, CO

Susan from the Reno location went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service despite the hustle and bustle for cyber Monday. She resolved my issue over the phone in less than 5 minutes after I failed to get a customer service agent trough general number.

West elm is an intriguing store located in a wonderfully historic building. Worth your time to wander around and check out new takes on old things. This store will make you re-think everything from furniture to utensils. Inspiring.

Wow! West Elm is located in a former Post office. I went in there just to check out the lobby for what was once a post office. It was truly a beautiful architectural experience. Very art deco, and West Elm had taken very good care of the lobby area, still incorporating the design of what it once was. West Elm did a great job preserving it.

The staff here was super friendly and helpful. They knew exactly where everything was and even helped me pick out which one would go best with my design. So happy I walked in here!!!!!

In May 2018, I purchased a Landry Bench and then returned it because the quality of craftsmanship was extremely poor. Ordered another of the same and was expecting to get my moneys worth the second time around. That didnt happen. If youre looking for a quality, custom-made bench, save yourself some money and buy elsewhere. The bench I received should only have cost 1/3 of what I paid for it. Im really sorry to have to say that purchasing a West Elms custom-made Landry Bench is one of the biggest mistakes Ive ever made.

Impressive what they have done with the old building especially leaving original parts original. A must see when in Reno. The basement shops were unique. A fantastic furniture store and so much more. Loved it!!✌✌ highly recommend

Love their offerings. Prices are good and they seem to offer something for everyone no matter what decor you may have. Great candles, napkins, pillows, etc.

We bought a $3000 couch and upon delivery (very rude delivery man) they gave us the wrong sized leg. Now our sectional does not fit together. We went into the store and have called several times and they still have not followed up to correct this, it has been over 2 weeks.

Typical West Elm. What is really special though is that it is in a beautiful, elegant, old art deco post office building. Gorgeous architecture.

The furniture is overpriced and when inquiring about a table (that later wobbled and leaned when I touched it) the blonde woman (I frankly forgot her name ) was rude and condescending when I pointed out the table was rickety. Would rate 0 stars if I could it was that bad of an experience.

I saw the store in the old downtown post office and just had to check it out. I dont think I have ever seen such a unique setting for a store. Not sure how long its been there as were from out of town, but it was really cool that they kept and used so many of the old post office accoutrements!

Too high end for our budget..... But check out the basement for sure
