Had some pipes fabricated for a project; fast, efficient service. Reasonable prices. Parking can be a bit challenging. In downtown, so quite a few different shops and restaurants fairly close by. Staff good to work with and no Covid excuses. Will definitely use them on the next project.

Great place for all your metal needs. Have gone in and also called a few times and they are always friendly and willing to help despite only buying a couple pieces. The best place I have found for gate hinges too. Plus its cool to see all the big pieces of machinery and hardware.

Fair selection of hardware as well as aluminum and steel stock. They can Fab a lot of metal for a reasonable fee. Their hours are goofy on weekends.. but I think a half a day on Saturdays. they have a pretty good selection of scrap if you just need a small amount of metal... Steel and aluminum.

I really like gerlinger as both a steel store and for the other products they carry in support of heavy fab. It one of my favorite stores in Redding. I’ve been picking up materials at the Redding store for over 20 years now and have always been happy with the products.Once my wife found they carried artistic /wrought iron shapes that can be incorporated into decorative metal projects (gates, etc ) she became much more likely to stop by and help me pick up some steel for a project.They’ve even helped me get tooling for my Scotchman Ironworker.

Have always been so helpful even though I am a small customer. I am often looking for small rods, etc. to refurbish old weaving looms so I love their scrap pile.
