Rented a storage unit online. When I showed up with two cars full of stuff, the unit was already locked with a padlock. Office was closed. Tried to call them for the next two days and couldnt get anyone on the phone.Eventually got a unit after riding around with all my stuff in my car for two days. There were nice and helpful once I finally got them on the phone but it took forever.

SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSEI really wanted to rent from this location since Im moving in a few days and its within walking distance of this place, but the woman who was outside and finally came in after I waited inside for almost 5 mins with noone to help me, was so rude. She was on a call using her earpiece and I asked her a question, she completely ignored me and said Boy I cannot hear anything but said someones name after that. Then she looked at me and asked if I had asked a question? I had to yell bc apparently shes hard of hearing. She went on to sort of answer my questions, but kept walking away from me so I said ok thanks and left. I much rather pay more and have to drive further than come go back there.

Only one person working the desk, with another worker wandering around in back moving vehicles.I’d have to think long and hard to come up with a time where I thought a service provider could care less about customer experience and customer satisfaction.A simple van pickup took over 30 minutes, and that is with me doing the mobile check in myself.The desk was unmanned for a solid 20 minutes as a line six or seven people deep built up.I’m going to avoid renting from them in the future.So should you.

It took us over 30 minutes (during covid) to pick up the U-Haul truck, even though we had already reserved the truck and entered information online. The woman behind the counter worked hard and was efficient, but there needed to be either more staff, or a way to do more of the process online. Other than the long wait to pick up the truck, the rest of the process was simple and went smoothly.

Do Not Rent your Uhaul from this Location! They have people there that dont like to do their job and want to treat customers like 2nd Class Citizens! My first and last bad experience with renting from Uhaul was at this location where I met this very disrespectful customer service representative named Kamesha Campbell. The problem was She lied to me about how much gas was in the truck that I rented and then when I asked her to change it she told me to do it myself so when I refused she told me to leave?? Why? bc I told her that it was her job to make sure that she gave me correct information about my truck. I called Corporate and was sent me to this location and I didnt feel very welcomed there either!

Pleasant staff, check out quick. Now that would be biggest mistake not reviewing or making me aware that I would recieve a text to use when returning vehicle. Truck was an older model NO power windows, AC barely worked but truck was clean.

Manager wearing a mask below her mouth and nose, coworker had his hanging from one ear, third associate, no mask at all, no social distancing or plexiglass. COME ON UHAUL, you are supposed to be an essential business. NC requires compliance and when i asked, them to where them for my protection, I was advised by the manager masks were optional.POPPYCOCK...i will no longer use this location.

The staff by name Kamesha Campbell and another big lady are very rude and unprofessional using racial slurs saying this is America. I will post the viral video online.I did return equipment where I got it. The lady told me go park it on the other side. I parked at their parking lot. She started yelling /shouting at me that i need to park where she wants and told her politely cannot back it up because of small place. I told her can return where I got, she threaten me with calling the police , I said go ahead, infact you got signs where it is written rental equipment return, I called 800 number and they came out to disconnect the equipment and started cursing me with racial slurs which have recorded and it will go viral .

Pricing might be fair but everytime Ive been there the large sliding door has been locked. The first time there was also a huge moving truck blocking the doorway as well. All in all if you have anything of any size youre trying to store here its going to be difficult getting it in and out of the building so maybe just go somewhere that actually has doors that open.

Had a wonderful experience at this U-Haul today. We reserved a 10ft box truck to take some old furniture to the dump. Well you cant dump from a box truck at the free dump without a pass. We called the store and spoke with Yolanda who swapped our rental and was able to get us into a van within the hour. We will recommend this location to others as this customer service was impeccable.

Had a great experiences with their customer service team! We reserved our truck online ahead of time. When we got there, they were prompt, helpful, and friendly. The pick up went so smoothly and quickly. We did forget to pick up a mattress bag we ordered in advance. When I returned to the store to grab it, they figured out the issue and immediately got me what I needed. Finally, we dropped our truck off after hours and went through the drop off process online. It looked like the company was trying to charge me for a second day when I did everything online. I called the next morning and the worked it all out and made sure I wasnt being overcharged. Great service.

Terrible place to rent from. The guy that took care of me was on a personal phone call while I stood in front of him for like 5 minutes. When he did the paperwork he didnt explain procedure. When I asked questions he shrugged his shoulders. Also asked about additional fees he said there was none. I asked that he walk around the vehicle with me to be sure I dont get charged extra he declined. Btw I wore a mask and he still could have practiced social distancing and did a better job. He didnt even put my address in right. When I got my receipt I was charged extra fee that wasnt mentioned. Good thing the manager took care of that. People who dont like to do their jobs right should not come to work. Seems to be very lazy.

Update: after posting this I got my $50. So they get one more star but Im still not using them again.I rented a Dodge RAM truck to move for one day. They advertise $99 a day in town moves. I moved from one location in Raleigh to another which sounds like an in town move to me. They charged me over $350 for this one day and then couldnt explain why. I was told Id get $50 back as a courtesy and that was 4 months ago. I still dont have my $50. The people that work there seem uninterested and unmotivated, not very caring about your issue because its not theirs. I will NEVER rent a uhaul ever again. From any location.

I highly recommend to NOT USE UHAUL. They have a ton of hidden fees, unspoken holds/deposits and the customer service team are trained to lie. What should have cost me $40 at the most ended up costing me $125+ for a UHAUL that I requested for 24 hours and even turned in early, cleaner than it was when I got it and filled it with more gas than when I received it. Charges will be disputed. I’m not even gonna bother talking to Management or higher up... to my bank I go due to fraudulent charges.

The guy that rented me the truck is WAY OVERQUALIFIED for this job. Literally, the best U-haul representative that I have ever encountered. I think his name was Chris. It was a very cold New Years day, and he was extraordinarily polite. He deserves to be in corporate or management.

First off, the Agent who rented us the Van, did NOT walk out to the vehicle and do a visual inspection with me prior to me signing my rental agreement (should be policy - should not fall on me to remind them of this). It was a brand new Van, the agent did not advise me that I needed to do a walk around the Van to bring up any damages.Upon my returning of the VAN, I filled the gas tank up doing them a favor, brought it back on time, and didnt even go over my assumed milage. I am sitting in the VAN, with it running, put the sun visor back up in the window, and was going to take a picture of the mileage, when the back door pop open, I hear a voice say Hello, I responded yes I am returning this Van, and before I could get out, I hear this voice say this Van has been damaged. I got out an right away assured the quote Manager that I in no way could have caused he damage that was present, we didnt even have anything but a box in area, the damage was like from a solid object rolling around the back that hit it from the inside. I immediately told him I did not do that. , He walked away from me and left me standing in the parking lot, said he was closing out my contract and would be siting the damage. He said, there are no x marks where this damage is, and you didnt see it before you drove it off the lot (Like its on me to find this and make sure it was tagged before driving off).I go back inside the store and the Manager the gentleman that jumped me in the parking lot, was standing there and he said we always look for damage when a vehicle is turned in and mark it with an X. I asked him calmly well could this have possibly been missed by the previous rental agent? He said they dont make mistakes, and I would have to pay to get this fixed. I told him, I am an honest man, I would have told them if I had damaged the Van up front, I mentioned that I filled the tank to full, brought it back in the same condition it was in when I drove off this morning, and I got back on time, and didnt use all the miles I thought I would. He didnt even bother to say thank you to me for doing that for them, instead he said the damage was not there this morning, how would he know, he wasnt even there when I picked it up. I said, listen I think you are pulling a fast one on me, that the damage was already there, that he knew it and was trying to make a quick buck off me. My son even told him the same thing we didnt even have anything in the back of that Van that could have caused this damage. I said you sir, are basically calling me a liar. I ended up, just bending over and spelling RUN, cuz he walked out with another customer, and left the agent to write me up. What bothers me is his attitude, the way he handled it, and the suspicious manner that he popped up before I had even turned the motor off, and stepped out of the Van accusing me of doing damage before I could blink an eye.My $20 a day Van rental, turned into a $209 rental, and they denied my EXTRA INSURANCE COVERAGE , that I did take out prior to renting the vehicle, as this was not an accident, rather it was a dent from the inside out, that state on my Accident report that my coverage was void, due to improper loading (again, we didnt even have enough boxes to reach the back door of the thing)! I will not be renting from U-Haul again due to being treated like I was somehow being dishonest, and denying my insurance coverage.The agent says I will be hearing from U-Haul collision in a few days about this claim. There was a web address listed at the top of the report, the link is dead and goes nowhere, so this was my only means of giving feedback of this experience. If I did damage this, I would have come forward right away and told them. I feel putting all the blame on me and them no taking responsibility for the agent NOT doing their job was the way this particular Manager is using this technique to rip renters off.All I can say is Karma will catch up with you for pulling this kind of stunt on a very loyal U-Haul customer.

Absolute worst experience for all the many times Ive moved in my life. U haul is scatter brain with what they do or do not have available at any given time. Im in Raleigh and they recently moved there store across a big parking lot in the same shopping center to return my truck and was not obviously posted. The woman on the phone was SO inept that it took 4 phone calls to get to it. I will NEVER rent from u haul again penskie is cheaper and much more adequately staffed! GO PENSKIE! the wave of the future!

The worst service possible. Ive been here 2 times in the past day buying boxes. My first trip the guy never spoke to me through the entire transaction. Second trip there are two people working, only one is servicing customers the other is standing around. Waited 20 minutes to be helped and they had to call for help to walk through an exchange/return.
