I am never one to go with a negative for the sake of a negative. I will always mention a positive experience but will try to avoid negative unless I feel it’s necessary. In this case it is; be very suspect and careful of this place. I went in there and the personality of the guy that was in there was woefully lacking but that’s not the problem;;the problem is he was a scheister… old lingo for a really disingenuous/dishonest guy who pulled a 20% tag off of a mattress was a six month old floor model just because he felt like it and denied the discount. Don’t shop at this place.

My review was honest. And I’m only back here to clarify because I am being misrepresented. I never raised my voice. I did in jocular fashion call him a scheister because it was very much like what a scheister would do. He didn’t have a valid explanation he just did not want to give the 20% off. And he removed the tag as I was standing there… if anyone was rambling it was him because he didn’t have a valid explanation .So as I left he said; “you called me a scheister” and I very calmly and again in jocular fashion responded by telling him he could handle it because he was from New York. That is the truth of what took place. And to come back on here and misrepresent, does not come as a surprise… be cautious, know your mattresses and what you’re buying before you go to this place….

We had a good experience picking out a mattress and there were no issues with the delivery other than tardiness. Fast forward 10 months: our Corsicana hybrid mattress has lost its support. The difference between the spots where my wife and I sleep and the unused middle spot between us is like night and day. We do not recommend buying a bed containing foam from this store. We will not be pursuing a warranty claim because we dont want another Corsicana mattress.

Great place. We were looking for an inexpensive, but good quality mattress for a guest room for my elderly, arthritic mother. Called ahead and was immediately helped. As soon as we showed up, several models were ready for us to try. We stayed within out budget and even received assistance wrapping and loading. Very happy.

The guy brought my mattress and box spring, but dragged them to my apartment even though they were wrapped in plastic instead of putting them on the dolly and wheeling both of them up to my apartment, but what was really bad was the very, very sorry customer service, I understand that were in a pandemic and everything but this was absolutely sorry, not even offering assistance with getting the mattresses in or getting the old mattresses off my bed and the new ones on but the guy didnt even say hi, how youre doing, nothing but as he rushed off he did say have a good day, I hope he didnt break a sweat doing that cause he didnt do anything else to break one. I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM RDU MATTRESS DIRECT EVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS, YOU LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER, DONT BUY NOTHING FROM RDU MATTRESS DIRECT!!!!!!

We found this store while researching beds online and wanted to look further into the Bed In A Box brand. Having purchased a bed from a big box store and not being happy about it 2 years later. We did not want to make that mistake again! We wanted a bed we would be happy with for years to come and also wanted to try out an adjustable bed frame. This store had BOTH! You wouldnt think it from the outside, but it is a no thrills store that just gives you the best product for the best price! You cant even get the prices he has online! Believe me we looked! The specialist that helped us was incredibly knowledgeable about the products. There are no sale pressure tactics. We really appreciated the relaxed environment. You could tell the salesman really wanted what was best for the customer.You dont marry the store you bought your mattress from. You marry the mattress. A no frills warehouse-style place. The best part of the experience was the delivery driver. Great personality, funny, and thoughtful. He didnt take his job as drop off and disappear but made sure we were happy with placement of the bed. Even took wrapping plastic with him.

I got a great mattress for a great price. Weve searched around for the last few months and couldnt find anything reasonable except for here. The two gentle men that helped us today were very sweet and personable. Like others said, dont let the warehouse appearance fool you. Theres a wide selcetion!

There were some communucation flukes with regards to the order and delivery process, but I got a king mattress for a great price and was pretty satisfied overall.

Bought 2 mattresses here and both times the salesperson was very helpful and professional. I really like the negative review written by a college educated person and the review of the lady that bought the floor model that was dirty, which if that was the case you can clearly see which models are on the floor and which arent and even then I really havent seen that any of them are dirty or bug infested. Anyways this is the best deal you will find on mattresses in Raleigh, it may be last years models or factory overruns but that isnt necessarily a bad thing most of the mattresses that I saw were made by well known and reputable brands. My only complaint would be that the warehouse has no AC in the summer but I think that is a bit nit picky.

Less than half the price compared to other mattress stores we looked at, with the same quality mattresses. Was helped by a super nice gentleman that explained different options but also gave us our space to look. Purchased a new queen pillowtop mattress set that we were able to bring home the same day for just over $600 - we love it!

Hands down the cheapest place to buy a new mattress in the RDU area. I needed a new bed ASAP, and within 15 minutes of arriving I had purchased a king size mattress + box springs (Coral Euro Top) with a 10 year warranty for under $500. Ive been sleeping on it for over a month and it has been the most comfortable bed Ive ever owned.

Dont let the warehouse building fool you! We stumbled across this store when looking for a Jamison mattress. Had a great experience with Tom. The specific bed we were looking for (hotel version) they did not stock, and it was a Sunday, so he said he would call the manufacturer and get me a price. He called me back the next day by noon! We ended up going back over there and tried laying on different beds - ended up with a BedinaBox (wonderful bed!). It was ordered and delivered in 2 days! The price was $200 less than anything I could find for the same exact mattress. Yes, it is a warehouse, but I would buy there from Tom again in a heartbeat!

This place is garbage! If you are not familiar with the design of bed frames be advised the salesman there will take advantage of that and steer you wrong. I walked in asked for a queen sized bed frame they sold me one for $60, without a center support. I did not realize what a piece of crap frame they sold be until my box spring broke in two places underneath my husbands side of the bed making it sag a full 3. I now have to pay $200 to replace my box spring and another $80 to get a frame from a reputable store.I would advise anyone thinking of shopping here to reconsider.

The gentleman at this place is helpful. I really liked their mattress, only issue was that I could not recognise the brands which cast doubts about quality and warranty. The delivery is handled by third party which is charged separately.their work address are limited

Came here with my dad. Vendor was polite enough while we still had yet to buy the matress but most of his politeness left after we paid.

We have bought 3 mattresses from them in the past year, a twin and a queen the first time and a king the 2nd and every time we found exactly what we needed and for the price we wanted to pay and the salesman is great, very informative and not pushy at all. They delivered the first time when they said they would and we picked up the 2nd time

I bought the aloe vera euro top mattress queen size and it is even better than i remember. Its much more plush but firm and for only $350. Delivery was on time. Why would anyone pay $800 for a mattress at a retail store. Ive only had it a few days but the quality seems great. We will just have to see how long it last. I couldnt be happier. The reviews made me skeptical but i refuse to spend alot so i tried it anyway. Two thumbs up!

Best place to buy a reasonable price mattress

Purchased a mattress from Mattress Direct in Raleigh NC. My sales person was the owner of the business, he told me the mattress (jade pillowtop queen) was instock and was 20% off because the mattress was closing out. I loved the mattress and made the purchase putting down $100.00 deposit Thursday May 5, 2016. I paid infull and picked up my mattress Sunday May 8, 2016. When the mattress arrived in my home it was wrapped in plastic to make me believe it was brand new. I later noticed stains on the sides of the mattress. I also noticed a few little bugs on the mattress after a few days of the purhase. Not sure what kind of insects. I contacted the store and owner Friday May 13, 2016 and expressed my concern. Was then told by the sales person (Tom) working that the mattress I purchased was a display. I asked Tom to double check that information and he confirmed that the mattress I was told was brand new is a display model. I was advised by Tom to contact the owner since he was my sales person. I spoke with the owner the same day, he offered me a return but I would have to pay the 20% restocking fee. How do you restock a display model? I explained I never bought a display anything in my entire life due to my mysophobia. My 4 year old daughter and I have been sleeping on this disgusting mattress for 5 days. I am outraged and traumatized. I would be satisfied with a replacement mattress with no additional fees or a full refund, which the owner refuses. After speaking with the owner I prefer to no longer do business with this company. I was told false information about a product by the owner just to make a sell. Now my home maybe infested with insects. And to return the product that I was lied about I have to pay over $100.00. This is insane. I will never do business with them again and recommend no one else does either. I lost a huge amount of money on a insect infested mattress. I couldve purchased a mattress from a higherend mattress store, wouldve saved me time and money.Extremely unprofessional and liars.
