Our table was delivered today, and it is *by far* the most beautiful table I’ve ever seen. The whole process was smooth and easy. The wood wasn’t drying at quite the expected rate, so the owner called to let us know exactly what was happening and why, and what we could expect. Everyone we dealt with from Marcell to Billy to the additional craftsmen who helped deliver the table was kind and lovely to interact with.But oh my gosh. This table is outstanding… 😍 ⭐️

She took us to their selection, explained the process, answered our questions, and even took and printed out a picture of the piece we chose, so that I could draw exactly where I wanted it cut. (This was super helpful because the space it was going in is a tight squeeze.) Next came the actual cutting of the slab. Employee Marcell was outstanding! Even though we arrived near closing, he had it ready for us the very next day. It was cut, it was planed, it was sanded, and it was perfect! Marcell really went above and beyond, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I absolutely recommend Raleigh Reclaimed, and I’m already looking for my next live edge project.

This is my third time at Raleigh Reclaimed and all three times were great. They are very polite and professional, they let me pick out what I need. When needed they pointed me in the right direction. They even trim and or plane boards as needed by me. Usually at no extra charge. The customer representative Marcel Giles took great care to give me exactly what I wanted and helped right through to loading my pieces in my vehicle. I rarely use wood in an unprocessed form, but I have a large project that required me to use slabs of existing wood. I needed this raw wood converted into usable “lattice strips”. Not only was this not a problem for Raleigh reclaimed, but Billy and , Melody, were very responsive when I showed up. I had attempted to contact them online but did not receive a response so take my advice and just show up. They are busy but not too busy to speak with you. Marcel was beyond gracious and easy to communicate and trouble shoot this process with. He personally cut a few samples when I needed to adjust my order and communicated clearly what the turnaround would be. As a smaller maker I’m often loathe to reach out to bigger production businesses but Raleigh reclaimed gave me the attention and patience that made all the difference. When I encounter a need for wood processing I won’t hesitate to haul a truckload of lumber to RR.

I had a wonderful experience with Raleigh Reclaimed. I wanted a mantel for my kitchen as the final piece to a remodeling project. I wasn’t sure a shop this size would be willing to help out a customer who only needed a couple of hard maple boards to build a few small shelves. They cut the boards to size while I waited and helped load them up. I will never shop anywhere else when I need hardwood lumber. As someone who enjoys wood working, this place is like a candy shop and you will want to leave with everything you see. Marcel always very professional and knowledgeable and showed me the entire wood shop and walked me through their process from start to finish. Even though I was getting a small amount of wood to make a cedar fly tying station, he had no problem taking the time to find me exactly what I needed. He also made a few special cuts free of charge. We had a beautiful Oak tree taken down from our yard and were able to save a cross section that we hoped to do something with, but were not quite sure what... We worked with Marcell at Raleigh Reclaimed, who talked through the possibilities with what we had and ended up with a beautiful piece for our dining room. If you’re a woodworker in northern wake, southern Franklin or southeast Durham counties then you’re lucky enough to have a world class lumber yard within a 30 minute dr. I’ve gotten walnut, birch, poplar and cherry so far but I’ve seen everything they’ve got and it’s awesome. They have there own milling operation and kiln so they can keep it in house. Their prices are competitive but their service is leaps and bounds above everyone else. If you need dimensional lumber, just give Marcell a call and he will get you squared a way. Marcell won’t try to up sale you either. Tell him what you’re doing and he will get you the proper lumber not just try to make a buck off you. Oh, and they don’t charge for facing your lumber or cutting a glue edge. Seriously, you can’t go wrong.

Everyone here is so nice and helpful. Marcel walked us all around the building and showed us the whole operation then listened to exactly what I wanted and helped me pick out the perfect piece of wood for our mantle. He told us it might take up to 3 weeks to get completed base on the amount of orders they already had, we told him we were hoping to install it sooner than that (due to family coming into town to help with the project), but we told him it would be fine whenever we were able to get it would be great. They ended up getting us our mantle in less than a week and it is perfect! Amazing customer service, amazing product, we will definitely be using them again and recommend them to everyone!

I’ve bought lumber twice and had Raleigh Reclaim build a live edge table for me. I’m an amateur wood worker and have build half dozen tables but couldn’t find slabs cheaper than their finished price! Just bought some walnut for a shelving project. I selected the boards then Marcell planed two surfaces and cut a straight edge while a waited. Excellent service and excellent product at very reasonable prices for native hardwood such as cherry and walnut!

This place is incredible! I wanted a live edge slab of walnut to make a bench, and randomly round Raleigh Reclaimed online. They have beautiful stuff in the gallery, so they must do gorgeous finished work. But we were super impressed by the selection of slabs, and the service we received was excellent! We found a lovely piece and I can’t wait to finish it and create a bench for our foyer. Shout out to Marcel - he was extremely helpful and kind.

We were visiting the Raleigh area from our home in Massachusetts and decided to check out Raleigh Reclaimed. That turned out to be a good move. Marcel met us as we came in and showed us around. We didnt have anything specific in mind, so we tried to look at every piece of wood in the shop. As we dug through some amazing slabs, Marcel checked in periodically and was extremely helpful. We left with several pieces. The quality is good and so are the prices, especially when you consider that they can plane and sand your selections. I will definitely stop back the next time we are in the area.

Amazing selection. We went to 3 different lumber stores in Raleigh and we found this to be our favorite. Great customer service. They set it up so it is very easy to view the slabs and boards to pick which one you want to buy. They have live edge slabs, boards, and reclaimed wood of various sizes. They cut our boards so that they would fit into our little car. The boards we got were about 5-8$/bf. The non reclaimed wood is from sites where other companies are clearing areas for development, rather than tree farms. We bought some walnut, ambrosia maple, cedar, and other very pretty woods.

Billy and Richard at Raleigh Reclaimed are great! We had Billy and his team make us a Forever dining room table out of sweetgum wood. I purchased the end cuts and turned them into the other two tables seen here. Just went back today and bought some ambrosia maple to build a stereo console table with. Cant wait for that to be done! A great place for finished pieces and the coolest place around to buy raw lumber. Billy even planed, straight edged, and cut the raw pieces to length for no additional cost! We will be back for sure.

Marcell was very helpful. He gave us a tour of the shop and explained in detail how Raleigh Reclaimed takes large logs dropped off from tree services and transforms them into beautiful hardwoods. We were looking for quality hardwood that we cant buy at the local box stores. Raleigh Reclaimed has a large variety of hardwoods at reasonable prices.

We purchased a black walnut round dining table and a black walnut live edge mantle. They were so helpful during the entire process. Melody and Marcel were always available and guided us through all the details. Their install team was so professional and did a wonderful job. 4-10-2021 I went to Raleigh Reclaimed today. I am a beginner woodworker. I have had trouble sourcing wood and finding fair prices locally. I was speechless when I walked in this warehouse. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They cut some slabs I purchased for free! Offered advice and use of their shop for future projects. I couldn’t believe the collection of beautiful woods they had for sale. Every species, every size and shape imaginable. The wood I bought was dried and completely flat. No curves or bows. I honestly thought the employee was messing with me when he told me the cost. Super fair prices and quality is far superior to anywhere else I’ve ever shopped. I am convinced this is the number one place in North Carolina to buy lumber. I can’t say enough. I would give ten stars if I could.

I went to Raleigh Reclaimed in search of some wood for an accent wall at a home I’m having built in the Outer Banks. I realized quickly I was at the right place as the quality of the wood and price point were great. What I didn’t anticipate was how amazing the customer service would be. I worked directly with Marcell, who couldn’t have been more accommodating. He walked me back into their manufacturing operation, we talked about what I was looking for, and he quickly gave me the run down of what I needed. I required 275sqft of wood for this project, have a Honda Accord, and figured I’d be making multiple trips from Raleigh to OBX. Marcell came out and took measurements of my car, then cut all of the wood to the proper length getting all 275sqft in at once. Raleigh Reclaim is like walking into another dimension that you never really want to leave. Everyone that works there is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. You are surrounded by every type of wood imaginable and the smell is intoxicating. My husband and I were looking for some cedar slabs to build a table for our new enclosure for our sons bearded dragon. Marcell Giles greeted us at the door, listened to our needs and took us straight to what we were looking for. He gave us several options of cedar to choose from and then went through the various ways we could cut the pieces we chose. Once the wood was cut and paid for he assisted us to our vehicle. Everything about our experience was pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend going there to look around and meet some of Raleighs finest!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a big smile from everyone we saw. Marcel was the gentleman that walked us around and telling us how everything works from start to finish. It was the coolest tour ever and watching and understanding their process. Once we are leaving there was a huge truck dropping off heavy machinery and was blocking the only exit. Marcel came out to make sure we didn’t have to sit and wait the whole time so he guided us through to make sure we didn’t scuff up they car. So damn sweet!!I will DEFINITELY be going back for more in hopes to work with Marcel again.
