Needed several units serviced such and weed eaters and edgers, after a long wait for counter staff that didnt want to get up I was informed that they dont work on anything that isnt bought from them. I even had brands they sell but didnt purchase it from them so they didnt want to work on it. I was told that it was a three week wait if they would take it in. The young man then recommended that I go to another dealer up the road so I did. Thank You promos! I found fabulous staff and a place that focuses on lawn care equipment mainly.

This place is great! Tim senior and Tim Junior are awesome! They are very knowledgeable. They found all the parts I needed for my Shindaiwa, and if you have an issue with your machines, they suggest to you what to do first before spending money in parts you dont need.

Purchased a tru-cut mower about 3 months ago and was told if I needed any work, warranty or not bring it to them. Well today I needed work done to the mower. I was immediately told to take it 20 minutes down the road to another company. They didnt look at it and had no interest. They had no concern that I bought a $3000 mower from them. I guess the referral I made to a friend to come and purchase the same model means nothing. Word of mouth works both ways. Just seems a small business would be a little more interested in helping. I think the guy was more interested in eating his zaxbys than getting off his butt and helping a customer. Didnt even offer to look at it.

I went in the Pro-Mow store in Garner, NC with the make, model, and part name /detailed description of the part that I was looking for. Seeing that I was the only customer in the store at the time I took the time to drive over there thinking that I could get in and get right out!Without hesitation the young man advised me that he couldnt look it up without the mowers model and serial numbers. Well I must admit this seemed a little different for me especially since I used to work for an auto parts store for almost 5 years and there were times that we were able to locate parts for people just based off of their verbal or physical description of the item. This was especially true if it was a DIY item or some type of accessory.He advised me to call him back with the information so that he could go pull the part for me so he gave me a business card and I assumed we were done after that since nothing else was said to me. The crazy thing about it is he knew the part that I was talking about and I would have felt better if he would have at least attempted to go pull at least one to three of the cables that he mentioned so that I could look at them and choose the one that I took off. Neither he nor the young lady working beside him moved as if they were chained to their seats.To the left of him was another young Hispanic man who was working in the RC part of the business so I went over to him who was a bit more cordial and a little more helpful and inquired about some parts for a drone of mine. Pro-Mow needs more folks like him especially if they are going to be the face of the business.Anyway I stopped back by the Pro-Mow counter again and just confirmed the location that he wanted me to search for the information so he confirmed it and again advised me to give him a call once I got the information.I went home and located the mower information on the rear of the unit and I proceeded to call the business just as he instructed. The problem was after calling the business literally within a few minutes later I got an answering machine which the first time the phone disconnected and the second time I had to leave a message.So I decided to leave a message and after doing so it wasnt until about 6 hours later that I received a call back from the business.Now, unless everybody in Garner and South Raleigh flooded that store to get parts or to buy mowers or remote control cars, Etc I could not fathom why it would take that long to return a call with two employees working behind the parts counter in the Pro-Mow section of the store!So after calling me back within seconds the phone call appeared to have been placed on hold and then disconnected. I immediately called the store back only to get the answering machine again in which at that time I left another message and here it is days later I have yet to get another call back.I currently work in sales and I know that I could not make any money as a salesman to support my family nor to sustain my job if I adopted the mindset of the young man at this business. Ive patronized the RC side of this business before in the past with great success and even referred some of my friends to them.In closing, I know for a fact I would not do the same for the Pro-Mow side of the business unless they could get better with their customer service acumen as well as follow-up. I would not recommend this business as your first or initial contact when looking for parts, services, or sales for a lawn and tractor supplies. I would exhaust all other means trying to find other dealers or repair shops in Wake county or beyond before settling for Pro-Mow of Garner.

Great family run business that is very helpful with Snapper issues and they have a great selection of residental and commercial landscaping equipment. Although quite a distance from where I live, I find I am going there more often because of their friendly service and advice. Good karma there.

I like most people for spring was looking for a good zero turn mower at a great price. I went to PRO-MOW equipment sales, and was immediately greeted and then left to shop around . I had lots of questions and they were answered quickly and nicely. I now own my first zero turn. Thanks for being awesome PRO- MOW you are great and good at your job.!!!! I’ll be back soon!!!

I wish I could could give these guys 10 stars but 5 will have to do, I came in today with 2 engines that would not start due to bad gas and they were able to take care of all of my primary complaints as well as finding 2 other issues that were unknown to me. Definitely recommend to any and everyone in the wake county area for all small engine repairs. Thank you guys!

Called about a rental a male takes my number says he will call me right back... Calls me 1.5 hours later I tell him thanks but I called another company in the time frame and got my rental, guy sucks his teeth and hangs up on me🤷‍♀️ Talk about great customer service smh I’m sorry but you called me an hour and half later. I havent left but one maybe two google reviews but I feel that this place deserved one. I bought a snapper pro from an individual not this store. I needed some replacement parts for my mower deck. The women who I dealt with was pleasant but needs a little more training when it comes to ordering parts she gave me the wrong oil filter and did not complete the order in which Im about to talk about. The first transaction went smooth no complaints. I found I needed new anti-scalp bolts for the deck. I went back and ordered these bolts. They are a specialty bolt and they cannot be bought at a hardware store. The bolts came in earlier then expected. When I arrived I found common grade 5 3/8 bolts. They were not the Shouldered bolts that I need. The man behind the counter tried to tell me that snapper has changed to these bolts for replacement on the mower deck. Now the best part, for four grade 5 3/8 bolts, four washers, four nylon nuts, and two spacers the total was $50.60..... at a hardware store all that would cost me about 3 dollars. The guy behind the counter looked at me like I was stupid when I told him I was not going to pay 50.60 for hardware store parts. If you go there to order any parts for a lawnmower be careful. Anyone with a little common sense would see that this is a total rip off and a joke.

Took my riding Snapper to be repaired but needed an estimate first. Pro-Mow called with an estimate of $495 parts only. Mower has been used about 40 times and warranty had just run out. Told them I could not afford to repair it so they charged me $46.12 for diagnostic. Told them I would pick it up and they said they would charge an additional $100 to put it back together. I would expect it to be in same condition as when they received it. Had to send them a check for $46.12 and wait for it to clear before they would release the mower. in parts. That didnt happen when I bought the mower as I wrote a check for $1,444 and got the mower on spot. Would not recommend them to repair even a tonka toy truck. Bad service. Just wanted the mower in same condition as when I took it to them . Roy Lasater

Over charge you, scam for dollar that they and will lie to you about What is needed and very sloppy work. They probably scammers.Update : August 6, 2019. I dont care how many stars you see here. They could have very well been made by the people themselves. My experience with Pro-Mow has been horrible. So originally I took my Encore Walk Behind mower to them to have the pull cord replaced. I was quoted a price of $35. I drove from Durham to Raleigh (and granted it is not a cross county drive but still quite a distance). They finally started on my mower about a week after I dropped it off which was ok. But they called to tell me that the repair price after replacing the pull string was $70 instead of the quoted $35. they also told me that after replacing the pull string that my mower would still not start and that I needed to replace the carburetor. That would be somewhere in the ball park of $300. I said no so they said they would clean the carburetor that was on there and that would be $175. I agreed. They cleaned the carburetor and then called me back and said it was not the carburetor that they could try something else at an additional cost. So now I am at $300 that I have to pay for a lawn mower that still will not work. I told them I dont understand why it is not working now because it was starting up perfectly fine before the pull string broke. So I paid them the $300 and took my lawn mower home. I was so angry because I knew my mower was working fine before I took it to them. So I watched a few videos on Youtube and did a little trouble shooting. Come to find out, the fuel valve switch was turned off. Thats all!!! Can you believe that. They are professionals and THEY did not know to check the fuel valve switch when it was obvious that the mower was not getting fuel. That is why it would now start. That is for beginners! I am not a small engine guy but I managed to figure that out. Instead of trying to trouble shoot, they just kept calling me to pay for their guessing game. Then THEY want to get an attitude because I was upset at paying $300 for NOTHING! So here we are today. Once again, the pull string broke. I called Pro Mow because I thought you get a 6 month warranty on their work. NOPE. The guy that answered the phone was SOOOOO rude to me. He stated that my warranty ran out a few days agao ( how convenient) and that they did not want to do business with me because I gave them a hard time. What hard time???? You mean because I questioned you about charging me $300 instead of turning the dang lawn mower over and checking the fuel valve switch? So he says I dont want to, but I will order another pull string ensemble for you I said you know what.... just forget it and hung up. What kind of customer service is that? What was nice about that. You did me wrong. Yet you dont want to do business with me??? Stop getting your relative and friends to write reviews for you. You are not knowledgeable, you are not nice and you have the worst customer service .

Had to get parts for a tune up on a SCAG mower I just bought. Problem was I needed the mower ready next day. Went to agri supply and found out they had nothing, called pro now and they had everything in stock. Drove in 10 mins before closing that same day and they already had everything waiting for me. Great mower knowledge and service. I will be back again!

Was not happy with a recent visit here. I have purchased several RC helicopters here totaling over $600 in just the past 6 months or so. I was given a gift certificate to another hobby store so I purchased an RC heli there. It is about a 2 hour drive away, so when I had a problem with that heli I brought it here to see if they could help me instead of driving all that way. They told me that if I didnt buy it there they would not help me with it... Geez... If I did that at my biz, I would expect a negative review... so here it is. Sorry.
