Total rip off these days. Last time I used it was in 2019 and mulch was $20 for 2.5 cubic yards. On top of that, in 2018 and 2019, it was 2 for 1 as long as both loads were picked up the same day.But now, its $25 for 1 cubic yard of mulch, thus and increase of 6x. To get the same 5 cubic yards for $20, 2 years ago, I have to pay $125.Of course, if you have a commerical account, then the price is $5 per cubic yard. Its no wonder no one is buying mulch anymore.

Can Raleigh not update this to show hours of operation and some general info. Otherwise your just calling and on hold to ask very basic questions. A waste of everyones time. Please update with general info

Busy Saturday morning, great customer service, especially the waste area attendant, as usual. They are currently charging for yard waste disposal.

I used to love this place, because it was the cheapest price I had seen around. I used to drive from Apex to get me 1cu yd of compost. But in 2020 everything went down hill. They increase their prices by 2x out of the blue. You can only get the old price if you buy minimum 10cu yd. Come on, the only people that will buy 10cu yd of compost are landscape business which have a truck to be able to carry and use 10cu yd.

5/25/2020 - Went to the Yardwaste facility to find it was closed. The notice on the gate states closed until further notice. I had a truck full of yard debris which I could not unload. There were other people upset as well.The website indicated the facility was open and there was no message on the phone to indicate the facility would be closed. Is it too much to ask that the website and the phone message be updated to notify the public of the current status of the facility.

Due to CV they are collecting minimum per truck load.

This is a great service to offer to the people of the city, but the person working the scale and accepting payment the day I was there was the rudest person I have dealt with in the past 6 months. I was not impressed.
