All the staff and Dr. Griffin are great! The ladies helped me pick out the perfect frames and made sure I was able to get a special rebate from my insurance. Dr. Griffin listened to my concerns and explained my results while taking her time. I cant wait until my next yearly exam!

Excellent service, quick to get me in the exam room. Very thorough, even liked looking at the picture of my eyes, though I didnt understand! Doc was very patient explaining what she was seeing. Been there for several years, going back next year as well.Staff is always friendly & efficient.

I have been seeing Dr. Griffin ever since I moved to Raleigh several years ago. She is always professional and friendly and answers all of my questions clearly. I wear contacts with no trouble, but do have eyeglasses as a backup. Last year I purchased a new pair from the office to replace the very old pair I had. The staff member who assisted me was extremely helpful and patient, helping me sift through all the options. I highly recommend North Raleigh Family Eyecare!

I moved to the Raleigh area a couple of years ago and had put off my annual eye exam. Its always tough to go to a new provider because you are not sure what to expect. I will say that North Raleigh Family Eyecare exceeded my expectations! Dr. Griffin took the time to explain each part of my exam so that I understood the results clearly. The office staff was kind, efficient and super friendly! My new lenses and frames were ordered and available for pickup in a timely manner. I also had some additional questions about by invoice, so Todd took the time to make sure that I understood each line item. He really went the extra mile and it was apparent that he understood the true meaning of customer service. A fantastic experience and many thanks to the entire staff!

Bought new glasses a few months ago. The staff was courteous, helpful, and they listened to our questions. The quality of the glasses turned out to be outstanding. No review as my scheduled appointment was declined once I arrived on time and disclosed I was an RN in an ICU. My mask on, hand sanitizer in pocket, hands washed (as instructed) and standing over 6 ft away, I was told that Covid spreads through the eyes. my appointment is cancelled and you will call me to reschedule and this works out because the insurance card you gave us gave us an Error message . . . so I have no less than 2 discussion points. First, I have a mask on thus preventing over 75% of the droplets coming out of my mouth and nose. Second, did you ask the teenager standing in your vision center without a mask on to put one on too? Consistency is key in preventing the spread of any infectious disease. Given that my job is reliant on proper hygiene and PPE I would put my money that Im the least of the worries in your office today. But no worries, I just needed help with seeing at night when I drive home from working at the hospitalwhere I take care of people who have had heart attacks, heart failure and respiratory failure. I just needed my eyes checked because Im 43 and my vision is changing. I am protecting you and others right now but if you get sick, Ill take care of you. Make sure you get your money from the mom and daughter buying glasses without masks that just went to the grocery store before they stopped by. They are totally benign. Educate yourself and treat everyone the same. Ill make sure I tell the next vision center what I do. By the way, I go to work at 6am after I take my temperature every time and I pray. I also wash my hands and sanitizethem no less than 100 times per day at my job. I wear a mask and a face shield most of my day. Im curious as to how many of your patients properly protect themselves and self monitor before they report to your office? Needless to say, I am livid and disappointed that someone else in the medical community would blatantly disrespect another healthcare worker at the door. Make sure you self monitor before helping the rest of your community.

They absolutely do not do what they say they’ll do. Nothing but the run around with no conclusion. Customer satisfaction is NOT their priority. The lens company they contract with is poor quality.First they screwed up the script so had to have the lenses completely redone. Next, a large crack formed where the arm connects to the lens. I went back to have the lens repaired or replaced. The man that works up front & sells glasses said he’ll call me when a new lens comes in. I never received that call, this was in Dec. it’s now March. I didnt even bother further. I went somewhere else. Wish I never went there to begin with. Never in 40 years of wearing glasses have I had so much trouble.Again, customer satisfaction is just not their priority

They force balance when you have insurance. So be careful and look at your receipt so they dont overcharge you for a service your insurance pays. Also it took months for them to send me my eye contact subscription because I didnt want to buy their outrages priced eye contacts. Talked to so many people and even supervisor. Customer service is not a priority. Definitely never going back. If I could I would give it a no stars at all.

I show up to pay a bill and be done with the place and the are listed open, but the people are just sitting in front the door looking at me as Im looking at them. I waited a few minutes and they just went back to work while Im standing there thinking someone will say something. Nope. Nothing. Terrible customer service even face to face. On their website they are listed as open, so 🤷🏿‍♂️.

Im new to the area and scheduled an appointment online. They called me the five days later on the day before to tell me they gave my appointment to someone who just called in. What is the purpose of offering a service you arent going to honor? Also, if my appointment was scheduled before theirs how is it, I get bumped?Now, Im left with no appointment, no glasses, no contacts and I have astigmatism. I work two jobs and Im a student. I took time off of work to make sure I make this appointment just for them to cancel it. Im extremely turned off.If youre not a regular, they clearly dont care. New people, steer clear. Myeyedoctor was happy to take me in, instead.

I chose to drive from Cary to visit Dr. Griffin after reading all the reviews online and I must say it was well worth it. I had my eye exam in March 2015 and when and came back returned for a 2nd time after having an allergic reaction in my eye. Each time the staff was friendly and fast. When I had an outstanding balance they were understanding and worked with me to get it settled.

Dr. Griffin and her staff were excellent. Probably the first time Ive ever been to any sort of doctor and didnt spend more time in the waiting area than with the doctor. Dr. Griffin took great care to ensure I understood her findings and options for correcting my visit. Her staff was also very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.Was formerly a patient of Eye Care Associates (or whatever they are called now) in Knightdale. Key word being formerly. Will definitely be making the switch to Dr. Griffins practice.

Ive been wearing glasses for about two years and wanted to transition to contact lenses. My previous eye doctor had told me it wouldnt be possible but Dr. Griffin got me fitted immediately. She explained everything very clearly, as did Lani when she taught me how to take the lenses in and out. My appointment was at 1:30 - I arrived around 1:25 with my new patient paperwork already filled out and I was in with the nurse, Lani, promptly at 1:30. Once she did my initial work-over, Dr. Griffin was in to see me within 5 minutes. Once the exam was completed, they talked me through my insurance benefits. The entire experience was great and I never felt uninformed. I will be coming here for years to come!

I have worked with the team at North Raleigh Family Eyecare for years. I have found them to be professional and courteous whether I am getting a simple annual exam or picking out types/styles of frames with all the various options which that entails. While it might be possible to find something cheaper if I go online, the service and expertise of North Raleigh Family Eyecare are well worth the money because they go above and beyond regular eyecare and service.

The ladies behind the service window were courteous, helpful, and very pleasant, the waiting area had comfortable chairs and an interesting Civil War history picture book which I enjoyed looking at during the brief wait, and, of course, Dr. Griffith was her usual pleasant, down to earth, and very knowledgeable self. Ive always been impressed by her knowledge and skill in her medical specialty, shes a pleasure to deal with, and I think the eye care I get from her is excellent.

Great local eye doctor. So glad I discovered Dr. Griffin and recommend her for all your eyecare needs. Ever since I moved to Raleigh I have been looking for a local eye doctor to replace the one I used back home for 20 years. I tried some of the big chains, but was always disappointed by the service and felt like the doctors never got to know you or your needs. Basically there was no personal connection. That all changed when I found North Raleigh Family Eyecare. Dr. Griffin gives a thorough exam, listens to concerns, and best of all I never felt rushed during an appointment. Her staff are also very friendly and helpful when it comes time to set my appointments and order new lenses.

My daughter has had 2 eye exams & 3 pair of glasses from this place. I dropped her glasses off for a new frame (she stepped on her glasses) & got the call that they were fixed & ready for pick up. I get there, they tried them on her, adjusted the fit & all was well (in their eyes). I ask for a cleaning cloth bc I noticed they were smudged. I pay the $90 & we go to our car. As I’m cleaning them I notice a huge scuff mark on her lense that wasn’t there when I dropped them off. I go back in & the guy that repairs glasses states that he personally repaired the glasses & doesn’t know how that got past him. It appears they had been dropped & scuffed but nobody bothered to properly inspect the glasses before calling me to pick them up. He stated my insurance plan covers lense replacement for free so he thought about calling me to replace the lenses while the frames were being repaired but “he didn’t want to bother me”. Please tell me how this makes sense?????? He thought it would bother me to replace the lenses while the frames where being repaired?????? To get new frames & lenses would make ANYONE feel better about paying $90. I drove 40minutes round trip & spent 20min there. A whole hour out of my morning just to be told I have to leave the glasses AGAIN so they can order the lenses bc THEY DROPPED MY CHILD’S GLASSES & DIDN’T BOTHER TO INSPECT THEM. They REALLY thought I was that careless & wouldn’t notice my child’s glasses were scuffed. So now my daughter has to continue to wear her old glasses. The doc comes out, repair guy explains what happens, & all she offers is “Ok, we’ll call you when they’re ready.” I wear glasses myself since I was 12. This is by far the most unprofessional & careless experience I have ever had. Every time I have had to drop my glasses off AT ANOTHER FACILITY for repairs when I pick them up they are like new. Not worse off than when I dropped them off. So now I have to take another hour off of work to go back & pick up her glasses. & while I’m there I’m getting her records changed to a better Eyecare facility bc we will NEVER go back to this horrible place again.

I wish I can give zero star, because zero is the service my wife got. I picked this place for my wife, because of its excellent review. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to see Doctor. I guess she must be very nice to her patient and her staff.When we tried to check in, the front desk told us that my wifes name is in the system, but there is no appointment.Then the staffs and nurse did their best to persuade us it is our fault. We mistakenly remember the location, we did not confirm the appointment, we should have done a pre-exam, we could not understand English, the nurse did not remember she called us..... Fortunately, my cell phone has the record of the appointment confirmation calling. Then they said they made this mistake and we had to make another appointment. My wife need to wait one more week to see the doctor. I cancelled my schedule that morning and I need to do it again. I was not happy, but I understood this kind of issues happens. Before we leaving, because my wifes name in the system is mistakenly spelled, I just asked if it is possible her appointment is under that wrong name. The nurse suddenly became very impatient and yelled to the staffs and us just give them the paperwork!! but you have to wait!!I do not understand why she was mad. Did I do anything wrong? I trust your doctor and your institute. I spent my time going to your place. I did not complain the nurses and the staffs cold faces.Then, I cannot ask one more question? Maybe, the nurse and staffs do not think we deserve their service, because our English has accent and we did not dress perfectly.

Called and made an appt. When I showed up to my appt, the receptionist said that I was in the system but she didnt have any appts scheduled for me. I can understand a mistake but she told it to me like it was MY fault!! She just kept saying she didnt have an appt for me. No, apology, that it was their mistake, or anything. It felt like it was my fault or that I didnt schedule it. How could they have my name in the system? When I made the appt, she verified my insurance and everything. Looks like someone else had the same problem 9 months ago! I never got a call to apologize or to reschedule.
