Great energy and a friendly greeting upon walking in. The staff asked if we needed anything and clearly expressed their willingness to assist. The selection was good, and the checkout was quick and easy. The staff at the counter even made us aware of potential deals with our purchase.

Great little comic book store. Been in about half a dozen times always leave satisfied with my purchases. The last 2 times the woman working has helped me find really good reads! They have a pretty good sale on trade paperbacks that I like taking advantage of. If you need some comics check this place out! And if you need help finding a good read just ask. They have good taste here!!

I depend on this comic book store to provide the action, suspense, new ideas, mind expanding, cosmos transforming stuff that makes the world bright and vivid for me. Even now.

This is thee best comic shop in all of Raleigh. For this one simple reason. The people behind the counter know their stuff!!!!!Dan could talk for hours about anything X-Men and Casey can school any weeb in manga or anime.They actually listen to what you like and give fantastic recommendations on what else you may like. Because of them I have read indy titles I would of never known aboutSo if you need a local comic shop or you want to buy something for that wonderful nerd in your life this is the place to go

The shop has been able to get all the comics I am looking for. Also enjoy the Live shows they do several times a week.

Please, try this place. The options have great variety, from the latest issue of a hit Marvel/DC run, or a niche local work by a new artist. Everyone there is very helpful and positive, every interaction was genuinely a pleasant experience. Prices are fair and deals are easy to find. What a great hidden gem in Raleigh!

The store is much better since the merger a while back with Daniel from Fight or Flight Comics. I dont have the budget for a lot of stuff in there, but I always like talking with Daniel about item information and interests.

The Best LCS in the Triangle, hands down. The staff is super helpful. Dan and Casey are by far the most friendly, helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the needs of comics. With your first steps in they acknowledge you are there, greet you warmly, and let you know if you need and help they are more than willing to go above and beyond to make your experience a happy one. And not only is it just a comic store, but also a great gift/collectibles haven. Regardless of how bad your day gets, a visit to the Raleigh store will always make it better. Even if you are not in the mood to buy, it is a collectible treasure trove of cool and different items to look at. And if you are lucky enough to get time from Dan to talk about comic history, you will be in for a treat. Amazing people and fantastic atmosphere. Its a must destination for anyone who collects.

Must visit comic shop in Raleigh! Staff are great, very knowledgeable and wonderful with kids. They have a variety of products in addition to comics - pop vinyls, figures, toys, collectibles, and of course boxes, bags & boards. We love their subscription service for our weekly comics, they use an app to help manage your selections too. I recommend checking them out as a visitor to the area as well as a local.

The owner has an attitude about pricing your comics? I took mine to Rocky Mount and got a better price and less grief!

Visited my 3rd Ultimate Comics store today. Another great experience! Just as I had suspected it would be.Im glad to see all of the safety measures the store employs during this pandemic. I collect comics, not COVID. :)The staff was friendly and helpful, which always creates a positive vibe throughout any comic store. We were talking and laughing about stuff; it felt like I was amongst friends.And yes, the store is great, clean, lots of items, blah blah blah. :) Seriously though, an all around great experience. Great shop. Dan really does the work for his customers. Thats why I kept with them after merging from Fight or Flight despite living much closer to another shop. Im here every Wednesday for my fix.

Nice place it feels a little to sterile. As I was looking through the comics on the shelf the staff was a little to helpful meaning that they would come over and re-shelf the comics I was looking at and not very knowledgeable about the comics . Also the comics are all bagged which cost more but is nice , but when checking out they removed the comics to scan them so they handle the comics which can damage them. Over all it’s a nice store with back issues some are overpriced but still a nice place.

Terrible customer service. Since you want to reply and got only part of her story, Ill give you more of what happened. I find it odd that she didnt mention her rudeness and following us around. Convenient she left that out. It wasnt her telling us we HAD to use sanitizer without giving us the hand washing option at first but her attitude with her request. Had she delivered that kindly and not follow us and was not condescending then I wouldnt be writing this here. Weve come here for years for pops with no issues even since covid however, we will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. I doubt this is an issue for this company since you are commending her rudeness. The safety practices arent the issue here but how your employees treat people. If that isnt something worth reviewing and discussing to your team during these difficult times then theres probably going to be more of these types of reviews.

Ultimate is my local comic book store of choice. The shop is located in an area with a lot of shopping and parking. The staff are pretty friendly and very knowledgable about current or back issue comics. The shop offers cool services like hold boxes, locating comics in inventories from other UC locations just to name a few. UC hosts a lot of artist/writer signing events or events celebrating comics. They send out newsletters by e mails with info about sales, upcoming comics and signing events.

The minute you walk in, youre greeted with a hello. Even thought its a small shop, you can find just about anything comic related. If you have questions about anything, the helpful staff will guide you to your answer. I love coming here. I will continue to go there.

Love going here for my comics and bringing my kids to pick up comic book related items for them. The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They are always having some sort of in-store sales and bring in comic book writers, artists, etc for meet and greet signings.

Not too bad for a little comic shop. Big vintage star wars comic fan but their inventory is limited. Hope to see them expand into a bigger location so they can carry a larger array or comics. Have a little of everything and their kids comic section is a nice thing to have when you have to bring the little ones along.

Friendly staff and a well organized comic store with collectables i.e.Marvel Legends, Funko, DC action figures etc as well as new and old comic books.I think its wheelchair accessible. Credit Card or Debit Card or cash is accepted. The prices can be a bit steep sometimes, but they are reasonable. The average comic is $2.99 anywhere.If you are looking for something in particular the employees can order it for you and have it sent to the store of your convenience.
