I went to Zed motors to compare a vehicle I was going to purchase from another dealership and the guys at Zed were very accommodating.The time they provided me allowed me to make the best decision for me and my family.The car lot they maintain has a lot of really nice cars but being on capital Blvd makes it hard to find their business. I recommend giving them a try before going elsewhere, though.

First off, I would like to say that Zed Motors was a nice buying experience. I was able to walk around the lot and look at every vehicle I liked before ever making a decision or being harassed by a salesman. Once I made my decision, Jim greeted me and remained professional during the entire process. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is this. I’ve had the car now a little over a week and found some minor issues (as you would with any used car). The car was kinda nasty during the test drive but was cleaned during the buying process. Being that my cleaning standards are a little higher, I did my own and found that some of the things that were claimed to be done to this vehicle weren’t exactly true to what I was told. There could have been a little more honesty to what was actually done instead of a bent truth. Overall I am still happy with the vehicle and the experience.

Huge shout out to Jim, Sam, Sal, Omar and especially MAX (he is so funny) at ZED Motors! Shortly after buying my Tahoe there (it was spotless and ran great), we discovered a problem with the air conditioning. I called and they asked me to bring it into the shop. Since I was flying out of town, they did a temporary repair to hold until I returned (awesome since July in NC is sooo hot) and after returning from my trip, they had an AC specialist make the complete repair (they had to order parts). I could not have asked for better service! They also provided a loaner car while repairs were being made. These gentleman provided wonderful service! Special thanks to all of them for going above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was the best it could be.

Found a car I liked online and decided to travel to Raleigh to check it out. Jim took very great care of me and was very helpful. This was my first car purchase and it went smoothly! He explained everything very clearly and made me feel super comfortable with the process. He did not try to push anything on me and the purchase went by quickly. Such a great group of people there! Definitely 10/10 recommend.

Sam helped us find my newest vehicle. Honestly, I drove off the lot after signing and the traction control light on my dash turned on immediately after pulling off the lot. This was something that the guys had said they had fixed. Unfortunately, I did have to turn right back around. They did offer to have it fixed, but I had to drive an hour back over there and wait an hour to have something fixed that they claimed had already been fixed. Not two weeks after getting it home, my check engine light came on. They, again, told me they would fix the problem. I was told that I could bring it back in. No time was specified, so I came back in at my convenience. After driving an hour back over there, they told me that it would have to be fixed in the morning. I had had enough at this point, but had to agree. I came back, they “fixed the problem” and it took 3 days for the check engine light to come on AGAIN! I am now having to pay for my BRAND NEW vehicle to be fixed after 5 trips back and forth to have this issue resolved. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They act like they want to help, but really, they are just waisting your time. Please don’t let them waste yours!

I was allowed a lengthy test drive and was strongly recommended to take the step of getting a Pre Purchase Inspection, which is helpful since many younger car buyers may not know to do that. Ask for James Brady, he was extremely helpful with all questions and concerns I had, and was a pleasure to work with as well.

This was one of the worst car experiences I have had. First they make promises and then they swindle you. We were supposed to trade in two cars and then buy another. Brought one of the two cars and all of a sudden they cant take that one. Fine. We were still going to trade in the other and buy the truck we wanted. We came Saturday on MONDAY they sold the car from under us. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO PICK THE CAR UP MONDAY (TODAY)! We had already done paperwork, sent in paystubs, taxes, etc. the whole 9. All they needed to do was send the taxes to the bank and we were waiting to hear it was done. Instead of doing that they sold the car and then told US we were supposed to leave a deposit. We were there over an hour on Saturday and had been there an hour an a half before that. NONE OF THOSE TIMES WAS A DEPOSIT MENTIONED. NOT ONCE. NOT ONE TIME. SO WHY LIE. Just say you saw a way to scam someone faster and went with it. This is ridiculous and this is why people dont trust cars sales people. My your hands testify against you.

The team and ZED Motors was awesome to work with! They were very accommodating and stayed late to help us while we were waiting for our financing to be completed. The owner even told us to come back for free to replace a bad battery that HE noticed when driving the car up for us to take home. When we returned, they also had a spare cargo cover from a like model that they offered for us have, also free. Prices on the cars in the lot were true to KBB and better deals than other local dealerships. I’ve bought several cars from various dealerships and this is my best experience yet.

Bought a Lexus GX yesterday and this dealership is miles above any other I’ve bought or spoken to. The owner gave us this highest trade in value of 15 dealerships I went to and had the best prices I’ve seen.Sean was our salesman and he was fair, honest and not pushy at all! He gave us the keys and let my wife and I look, instead of pushing us to buy or smothering us.The owner was present and involved in the sale; will be buying here forever. This isn’t the fanciest looking dealership in town but if you want honest, fair, and a pleasant buying experience - go to Zed’s.

On two separate occasions we went to look at a car that was listed on various websites. Both times the cars weren’t anywhere to be seen. The first time it happened the car stayed on CarGurus for over a week after they sold it. They lure you in with website listings and then act like it was sold an hour before you got there. If they can’t be honest about what they list, what else are they lying about?

Kevyn was an excellent salesman. He was completely honest and open about the vehicle we were considering. He wasn’t pushy or sketchy and allowed us to look into what ever we wanted regarding the vehicle. I’m stationed at Fort Bragg and Kevyn being an Army veteran understands what it means to be upfront and honest. Although we decided on a different vehicle, my experience at Zed Motors was so exceptional and out of the ordinary that I had to write a deserving review. If you are going to buy from a used car dealer, buy it from Kevyn at Zed Motors.

I spent weeks searching for a decent, used F-250 at every dealership within a 100 miles. Everyone I found was either overpriced, sold, not well maintained, or flat out destroyed in some way or another. Zed Motors not only had a clean, F-250 with low miles, they had multiple. I also noticed every other vehicle on the lot was in the same condition. When I commented about how rare it was to find so many used vehicles in such good shape. I learned who ever does the buying for this lot is very selective. That was good to hear and gave me confidence in my purchase. It’s been almost two months and my new truck is running flawlessly. They weren’t very flexible on prices though. Since the prices were so close to blue book values, I wasn’t too upset about that. Will definitely come back for my daughters first vehicle.

I bought a car here because I was on a time crunch. I knew it was a mistake from the beginning and I wish I wouldve trusted my gut and spent a little more money elsewhere. If I could go back in time I would 100% not buy from this dealership. Let me start by saying Kevyn is a great person. This review is directed towards the company as a whole. I bought a car from this dealership and within less than a week I had to replace the tires, oil, cabin air filter, and spark plugs. There was no compensation for these issues- except $200 off the original price, which was absolutely not enough to cover the issues. It is now nearly a month after the purchase and I have to replace the break pads, rotors, and fluid. I know I cannot go back in time, but hopefully I can help someone else in their car buying experience here.**I, personally, was on a time crunch. I have never, in my life, been to a pep boys. I was assured they “do not leave their customers stranded.” I did not know about all of the issues, or I would not have purchased. I do not appreciate this company putting words in my mouth.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was lied to about everything on the car I purchased from them. I know you get what you pay for, but I could have been told the issues that was wrong with the vehicle so I could get them fixed. But no, instead I was told that there was NOTHING wrong with the car, except cosmetic things like door handles that I’ve gotten replaced. Like I was told the tires were good, NO they were put on in 2011, and they blew out on me just last night on the interstate!!! So dangerous.2 weeks after I purchased the car, my exhaust pipe busted.4 months after purchase, my alternator blew. My heater doesn’t work in the back.And the list goes on and on.From my personal experience, I’d say buy a car almost anywhere else.I’m very unhappy with experience with them.

Fair price for my BMW X5; I requested they replace the brake fluid and engine oil in it before driving away. The salesman gave me a ride from the rental car agency back to the dealership to pick up my BMW so I didnt have to deal with delivering it.

Bunch of crooks. Sold me a truck that had a busted back window saying they would replace. Replaced the window and the functions of the window dont work. Not to mention this vehicle was a flood vehicle and they tried to hide that as well. Been a complete money pit. Stay away from these crooks.

I was looking for a full-size 4-door pickup. I followed on 5 different car sales apps. I found many that I went to look at. I drove a few and never felt really good about the trucks and what I was hearing and who I was dealing with. I went to ZED Motors after seeing an F150 like I was looking for. It didnt take me long to decide to buy after taking it to my mechanic. ZED had done a bit of work to the truck before listing it to make sure they were selling a good used truck. And they did a great job. I wanted to wait until the end of my 90 day power train warranty to give my review. I have driven it on two 4 hour drive trips, one to the mountains and one to the beach. The truck ran and drove great. On the beach trip, I drove it out on the sand all day for a surf fishing trip. It was awesome. Not a single issue. ZED Motors did a fantastic job servicing the truck before I bought it. They had a great price on it and were very honest about it, in my opinion. The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. Any time I have the need to buy a car, ZED will definitely be on my list of places to check.
