The triangle location is closed. Website still has it open. Drove 35min to get here.... Only to have a permanently closed store with a Google maps listing saying closing soon. Very frustrating.

Found us a new hobby. Fly fishing. We have done 2 days of FREE CLASSES to make flys for fishing. So much fun. The teachers work there and they know so much. They will answer all the questions you ask. This is a wonderful time for father son time or best friends time to come enjoy. Also if married. Me and mine and our 2 year old came and enjoyed a sat class. I loved it. Cant wait to come back. This store is a fishing store, no camping stuff like Google said it was. But we stayed and found a new hobby.

Everyone here was great, but I’d like to give a special shoutout to Graham! He was very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. We had a great experience, and would definitely recommend this shop! :)

Fly fishing gear and clothes for men and women. Dog gear too. Casual elegance is the look sold here, and you need not be a talented fisherman to look great with their clothing. They offer beginning fly fishing classes as well.

Came early Sunday morning for Fly Fishing 101. Graham and John were great! Very patient with us newbies and really took the time to explain the basics of fly fishing. In my experience, if you can educate folks and instill a little early confidence, you’ve got a customer for life. Orvis already has it figured out! Looking forward to the 201 class.

The customer service is amazing. I purchased a rod which a broke a couple of times over the years. I just bring it in and they will fix it. The people at the store are really friendly and very knowledgeable. Their fishing classes are great also.

Im semi-new to fly fishing and wanted to take my dad in Raleigh since we had a lesson a few months ago in the mountains! Orvis let me check out a school rod which was *beyond* nice of them to do! The store had a great selection of everything you can want or need! The staff was great and extremely helpful!

A really cool outdoorsy store with nice people working inside. Sort of like an LL Bean with good quality merchandise. This store is large, warm, and comfortable. Worth checking out even if you think you are not interested in this type of clothing.

These guys are amazing! Orvis is known for their customer service and they have never let me down. I have only ever been to one other Orvis location and I am sure they are all great, but the Raleigh store and all its staff are beyond phenomenal. Craig has helped me a number of times and has plenty of knowledge to share. Jake and John have also been awesome resources and instructors.

Good product...bad customer service. If you dont look like you have money they look right over you. I would highly recommend the product but dress up if you want help.

In the Triangle Town Center which is a nice, quiet and relaxing indoor/outdoor mall. Has a very nice courtyard to sit and relax and a number of other stores around it as well.

Took one of their free Fly Fishing 101 classes and had a blast. Totally new to fly fishing and never stepped foot in an orvis before I was very impressed. Was expecting a stuffy well to do atmosphere but not the case at all. Jake, Graham and Logan were fantastic. They kept the class very fun and interesting with all the basics and were a blast to learn from. Afterwards they were a great help in looking at products and gear. Signed up for the next 201 class and cant wait! Definitely worth a stop if your interested. Employees they have are worth their weight in gold and are the type and the reason for people to keep coming back, hopefully management takes good care of them!

I have just started out in Fly fishing, having fished since I was a wee boy back in Scotland. During an internet search for Fly fishing lessons I stumbled across Orvis and havent looked back since they do FREE fly fishing lessons, they also do FREE Fly tying lessons. They took us out on the river one day for a day of FREE lessons including a go on their drift boat with their friendly and experienced staff. These guys have taught me all I know about fly fishing and it hasnt cost me a penny so I would recommend unreservedly this place to anyone looking to start fly fishing to get you started right! As a Scotsman I always try to be frugal so I bought cheap products off the internet, but trust me, its a false economy, get started with great quality products from this place. Now that my interest has been kindled into an obsession, I see so many ways that the Orvis company, supports the sport of fly fishing so I am more than happy to support them with my custom.
