Love that store. So many great ideas. Something for mostly everyone.

The employees were very helpful in finding and cutting my materials. I was looking for an uncommon fabric, Navy Velvet. They were out of stock; however, the lady helped me locate similar fabrics and I was still able to complete my project. Also, go check out their halloween decor before it’s too late.

Largely friendly staff with the typical Joanns items. The parking lot can be hard to get into. The forced usage of coupons to get reasonable prices at any Joann store caps the score at 4 stars.

Staff is slightly rude but helpful. It was obvious that I had a question and was standing near the counter when an associate looked me in the eye and proceeded to walk away. Then a young woman motioned to her and mentioned that I had a question, and was approached with the statement Just a question? Thats all right?. While this was done with a smile and in a joking manner I didnt appreciate it. The associate was indeed helpful, but the interaction was no to my liking. I will not return to this location.

I enjoyed walking the aisles looking and feeling the fabric. I was able to gather ideas for my projects. The sales people was helpful and courteous.

What a difference a change in management can be! A couple of years ago I decided to not go to this store anymore. It was disorganized, staff were not helpful, and just in general was not inviting at all. When I went last week it was like walking in to a brand new store! It was inviting, staff were great and went above and beyond. This is definitely my new craft and hobby store!

It was the best shopping experience Ive had at a Joanns Fabrics.Megan and Monica on Falls of the Neuse Road in Raleigh were the most helpful staff.I found the entire color scheme for my upcoming quilt and they helped me learn new Website skills to utilize the coupons.Thank You Ladies For Your Patience!!!

I love Joanns. I go whenever I am near one since they closed ours in Greenville, NC. I wish it was still there. The prices are great and they have a huge fabric selection.

They need more help. There were no employees to help you on floor with questions or help find anything. And the lines were super long in the middle of afternoon. This type of service people stay at home and order online!!! JoAnn Fabrics you can do better!!! 🙏

I love Joanns, I love seeing all the color and getting to touch all the different textures. Everyone was real helpful and answered my questions, and I normally have a great time.However, last week not so much,see as I was talking to one of my siblings about what fabric to get for our unborn niece and nephew, some couple came up behind me and just picked up one of the fabric I had laid out next to my other chooses and walked off. Luckily I found it again and there was just enough to get the amount I needed. I also bought two different fabrics that I thought was on sale for $8.50 a yard and was actually $19.99 a yard because of a little color dot. Joann was having a sale and they had placed color dots on the fabric that was on sale. I either need to read better or they need bigger color dots for sales then they have. I was also charged twice for a yard of fabric and ended up having to go back to get that fixed and return some elastic I bought by mistake.But I still love Joanns and I went back, different store, about a week later and it was perfect. I think its one of the best places to go for a tangible fabric store. I am going to try one of those online fabric places when I get back to NC.

If you need it, they pretty much have it for any textile or craft and holiday project. Coupons add a lot of value and affordability, too.

Ive visited this location several times, and usually have a good experience. The stores fabric offerings could be better, but a lot if that could be my timing, and lately, the pandemic.

Didnt have a lot of time and not enough employees,but customer service was great. I cant wait to go back and tour the store.

I frequent this location since it is closest to me but they need new management. Employees are overworked and rude as a result. Hard to use customer service skills when youre clearly exhausted and burnt out! There are never enough employees on staff as well so its very hard to get help. Thankfully I mainly buy yarn which is easy but they dont keep nearly as much in stock as the Cary location.

Not a bad store, caters mostly to fabric crafters. Good selection of cricut vinyls and machines, wish they had more clothes for sublimation other than the cricut brand

Every time Ive visited this year, the amount of people in the building at one time was decent (ie enough room to keep 6 feet distance). Nice selection of fabrics, and other crafty things and baking items. The sales Ive been to have been really good (I might not have *really* needed all that fabric, but, it was beautiful and at a great price!). Staff have always been super helpful and nice. 5/5 recommend coming here for your getting supplies for your projects.

Before discovering JOANNs I would order things I needed online. I am never disappointed when I go for something. Friendly cashiers and extremely helpful when needed.

Its Joanns. I wish they had better yarn selections but thats not thier thing so much. I mostly find what Im looking for and they have good coupons.

The store was very, very busy and they only had two staff members who could check out customers and assist on the floor (two others were swamped cutting fabric). The staff were patient and moving as fast as they could but I felt bad they were trying to juggle too much (the phone was ringing constantly for the long line at curbside pickup as well). It felt very unorganized and hectic inside :(

I love Jo-Annsfabrics I love these selection I like the employees they hire I like the variety I always find what I need when I shop therefore my sewing needs and this particular visit I needed fabric to make a custom mermaid doll and found everything I need it at one stop.

Joanns always has new seasonal items for the home which I love. I like the holiday decorations. During Covid-19 I like to buy art supplies because store is close by and staff are friendly.

Very wide selection of fabrics and materials. I found numerous options for creating clear vinyl panels for our screened porch. Staff was very helpful. Be patient. Its busy on weekends.

This place has everything. I am a sewing beginner and I needed some supplies to build my kit. I found everything I needed and more. Just walking around this store gave me so many ideas for new projects. The check out was speedy and the customer service was great!

This JOANN didn’t have quite the selection of another location I’d been in Raleigh but it’s also been years so that just might be the market these days. They had great prices (on fabric) and everyone was lovely. The home decor stuff was astonishingly expensive though I must say as a Michaels regular. It seamed really well made and definitely worth a fair mark up but WOW that would be some clearance only buys for me.

Always love this place. And they have been putting out some really awesome coupons lately. This is what I was at to make cheap for my son!

This was a great shopping experience. The customer service was so great that I felt like I was in fabric shopping heaven. The fabric that I wanted was not on sale. It was 19.99. So I was like that us so expensive. But my nephew just passed away and I wanted to look good for The funeral. The CS shared with me that I could get a coupon online for 20% off. So I was like ok thank you. So she said my total around $120 for 6 yards. I sadly said yes okay again. When I went to checkout. The lady CS asked what was I making. I told my story. She said you know we have a 40% off coupon online. I was like Oh Boy I dont have to pay the regular price. I had a very nice conversation with the nubian lady. She even showed me a picture of herself on her camera. She was beautiful. Inside and out.. Oh by the way...my bill was 99.00..ching ching!

A girl can really spend some cash here! Love this place, great sales but almost always SLOW lines which is frustrating when you need to get in and out. They never seem to have enough staff

Only thing I didnt like is that down here in Raleigh the price of african fabrics are $30 a yard. Way to expensive. Ill be waiting til I get back to chicago

The employees working the cutting table at the Raleigh Joanns location were quite rude today... when I asked about them ordering a specific fabric I was told that I could do it myself and offered no further assistance! I went directly to the Cary location where I found Trina at the cutting counter and she was WONDERFUL! She looked up what I wanted..found it at the Fayetteville store called them and is having them send it to the Cary store for me! Its a longer drive for me but for way better customer service Ill goto Cary from now on!

Deals were good, lines were looooooong, wait was short to check out over Black Friday weekend. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Why is the spray paint the only thing in the store that they lock up? Had to ring the bell to get someone to open it. It took about 7 minutes for someone to come after ringing it again . What appeared to be a manager came from the back. No greeting just “which side do you need opened, left or right?). I needed the left opened. While I was getting my item another customer came up to her and asked for the resin. She stated” I don’t know, probably where the clay is”. Without searching too hard , I spotted the resin and pointed it out to the customer. I should get a job at Joanns.

Joann at six forks is a very good store. The staff is nice, cooperative and helpful. This store is in a small, open shopping area surrounded by some other businesses. Nice location, easily visible from the main road.

Lots of clearance items. Really slow and a long line at the cutting counter. Got some fleece kits for 60% off. When did just a simple spool of thread get to be soo expensive??? Glad I am a crafter vs. being a seamstress. Pretty good prices on sewing machines. I think I will put it on my wish list. Checkout was speedy and its more fun not to have to shop on-line. Fabrics and other Notions should be a hands on experience with plenty of touch overload.

Seems to have a better selection and prices than Mill Outlet Village from what I observed.

There is a nice variety of fabrics here, most of them being polyester which is what I was looking for. Not many liscenced character designs, the ones they do have are fleece. Pretty decent bead and charm section for bracelets, necklaces, and other miscellaneous accessories. Plenty of crafting tools for multiple types of crafts. They even have some crafting lights which I thought was really useful. Fashion patterns and references available too. The store caters to several different crafting jobs. If you want to check the price of items be sure to download the app from GPlay, I couldnt get any of the in-store price scanners to work for me. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed conversing with everyone met and appreciate their help. 5th star just for them.

You should definitely use the app for the coupons!It makes a big difference.

Someone at that store doesn’t know how to measure a full yard of fabric. I did curbside pick up of 2 fabrics, 1 yard each. One of the cuts was about 25% short. Didn’t see it until I washed them. It was definitely not due to shrinkage.

Have always liked Joannes I get many supplies from here and they offer coupons which helps a lot most always have what I need

The store is remodeled some and looks lovely. It is easier to find stuff now and I appreciate the clearance bolts being neater. The only issue is that there is always a line at the register no matter what time I shop. Its really not that big of a deal, but dont be surprised if it takes 10 minutes to checkout.

I haven’t been to this location since last year, and it seems to have had a remodel. I’ve been going to the Durham-Chapel Hill location and even though the associates are really nice and I’ve picked up some good fabric, this location has so many more options, and styles and designs. This is now going to be my primary location when I need to buy fabric.

Got what we needed and both items were on sale.

This store was updated and reset and is so easy to maneuver through. It is well labeled and the yarn is so much easier to locate. The staff has always been wonderful and our Project Linus drop off has been a big blessing. Never disappointed shopping at this location.

Very rude lady at the fabric cutting counter. She talked down on every customer. I am a nurse and was asking for fabrics to buy to make my own masks. I heard they had the mask kit that they give away and that lady said there were no more (which was understandable). I went to check out and who I’m assuming was manager came up to my coworker and I and said “here we have 4 kits left”, and gave me one. So I am very thankful for that.

Now I know why everyone goes to Hobby Lobby!! Checkout person at register, appeared to be manager level, was so rude to her employees in front of customers. I wont return anytime soon and if I were one of those employees would have walked out. Way too many other jobs at other places, even at Hobby Lobby, to be treated that way!! No one should treat an employee that way. And she was rude to a customer in line. Ugh!

I called the store looking for a bolt of fabric. The sales associate found the fabric and held it for me. I drove over 30 minutes to get there. I was so happy to obtain the fabric. The sales associate also informed me about a discount that could be used at the register. I called a sewing friend in Georgia. I gave her the item number and she was able to find the fabric at a store in the metro Atlanta area. Were both highly pleased. The sales associate was very helpful and pleasant. The store was bright and clean. This store recently remodeled and I like the new display area for apparel fabrics.

So much fabric and I love it! They have a great clearance section as well. Staff is very friendly and knowable.

Quite a varietyif fabrics...a little pricey, but youll be good when get buy the fabrics on a sale. I could spend a small fortune there. Love fabrics. They could have a better variety on their brigades.

Employees are very rude. This is now the 4th time I have tried the Raleigh, NC store (and only out of desperation as all others stores are closed due to COVID 19). Each time I have been here the workers have been extremely abrupt and rude. My first experience here was as a first time quilter and asked for help with selecting items I needed. With this first visit to the store the two ladies at the cutting counter literally laughed and giggled at me with my questions. My second visit I asked for help to match a color as I am color blind, again this met with giggles and asked why I bothered to quilt if I could not see the colors. The third visit went okay as I just did a curb side pickup for a quilter square during the COVID 19 virus. Today I was met with yet another nightmare, the first lady did not know how to use the computer to look for what I needed. Then another lady did finally say she would help me. This second lady was extremely rude though and very short in her speaking to me and was also NOT wearing a mask. I will absolutely NEVER return to this store even if it were the last store on the Earth open. Both the Cary and Durham stores I have found were very helpful and would go above and beyond to help me. Definitely go to Cary or Durham and avoid the Raleigh store.

Savannah was phenomenal! She gave my mother and I very good advice on fabric designs and matching us with the hottest trends! She is a great employee and knows her fabric! 😊

This is in regards to the location at 4412 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC:I just wanted to give a happy shout out to Ms. Shirley & Ms. Monica for recognizing my “deer in headlights” stare as I take on a new skill set and helping me make good quality/budget friendly choices, to Ms. Priscilla for her help and patience as I scoured coupons in the app, and the manager lady who was friendly and has a great team working with her! They were all kind, welcoming, and smiling, even with many people in the store and I’m sure a busy day behind them already.Great team!It takes a village ❤️

I always enjoy shopping at this location. The check in for fabric cutting assistance is great. It allows you to shop and be contact by text when it is your turn. No long waiting on line.

Great selection. My friend and I came in looking to find fabric to make outfits and had an employee talk to us about what would work best. My only downfall is that her manager was mad at her for focusing much of her time with us instead of other employees. This woman gets an A plus in my book and shame on management for pushing an employee to not be so involved in helping customers that had a lot of questions.

Katie, ECU grad in costuming, is delightful! She has bailed me out of a couple sewing situations with her awesome knowledge of the art of sewing and creating. Super professional.Asking someone a question that doesnt sew or craft is the WORST!!I am sorry, but I must say that there is a Manager at this location that makes me feel like I am imposing just because I am in the store. I have yet to see her working side-by-side with her staff. : (

Store was nicely laid out, two of the clerks were friendly and helpful. But, I read the app as saying they had 7 spools of 10 yd each but it meant 7 yd total in store, so I drove about 25 minutes each way to buy nothing. Sad.

They need to identify the color names for their ribbons. We went to pick a color for our upcoming wedding and although we found the ribon color we liked, there was no way to identify its name to share with others. We were able to use Google lense and find it on google!

As my wifes husband, l occassionally get dragged to this store. There are racks and racks of stuff l l have no interest in. Its has nothing for me to use in the garage or anything l want to read. But if l ever need a sewing magazine or get the urge to make new pot holders, this would be where l would shop.

This location has one of the larger selections of merchandise Ive seen in this chain. They had everything I wanted and more! The staff are very helpful witnout hovering or being intimidating. Excellent resource. Relaxed atmosphere.

Everything you need for crafting, sewing and art. Had to wait a bit for fabric cutting, but line moved quickly.

As a man ( yeah yeah I know) this could have been somewhat intimidating but the knowledgeable and helpful staff enabled a productive and expedient visit. I will return as is needed in the future. Thx for a positive experience.

I truly hate going to this location because half the staff is nice and the other half horrible. You never know what your going in encounter. The coupons never work on key items and you can always finds things much cheaper on Amazon. The location in Cary is so much better. Sad but true
