Once I started to browse around the store the possibilities to get one became five. The true is that they have beautiful clothing for babies and tots remained me of my childhood. I could buy toys and furniture… but this store is the specialty is clothing that you can’t find in retailer store not even in Macy’s store. Some clothing is hand made. And I appreciate the details on the designs. Thank you for such amazing experience. I would definitely go back even if I have to fly from the northern states.
Had a decent experience buying my nursery furniture but I think that was only because the sales woman knew my husband. Ever since, never had a kind word said to me in there, never an offer of help and when I request help it is short and rude.

Do not buy from this place if you need it soon. Live 30 minutes away and it’s been 2 weeks and still haven’t received my item. Try to contact them but no answer. Will not buy or recommend anyone. They also sold and item to me and took my money and then it turned out they didn’t even have the color I order. So I agree on a different one and she told me they was shipping it in 2 days. Been over 2 weeks now.
I’ve been coming to this store several times because they do have a lot good things and sizes. It’s not easy find a baby store but the downside of this store and if you don’t mind, the costumer service really suck and they don’t seems to care either since there are a lot of reviews complaining about the same. For the times I have come, I have noticed they treated very well to costumers they already know and have a relationship, maybe I’m wrong but old money people. I guess, it’s still the south.
Wonderful store !! I’m expecting my first grandchild and walked into Shower Me With Love to purchase shower presents. They were so awesome. Everyone was helpful in every way. I will be back and often. Thanks to them for a great retail experience. They are few and far between these days!!
I bought a wonderful glider/recliner chair this fall, and received as a special promotion a Shower Me with Love gift card. The baby was just born (its a boy!), and was looking forward to using the gift card on cute things for him, but was told the card is about to expire. That cant be! He was just born! Surely if the card had an extremely short life, the salesperson would have mentioned that. I asked about speaking with the manager when told about the expiration, but she said it wouldnt do any good. I am so very disappointed in this store. I feel like they gave a gift card and purposely did not mention the gift was about to expire. I do not recommend this store.
**** UPDATE****I finally got my items, but I had to call/email the store manager several times before I got a response or update on when I was getting them. When we went to pick them up, the staff was barely even cordial. Never got in contact with the owner, so completely leaving this a 1 Star review. I’ll be surprised if they are able to stay afloat as a business after this pandemic.I purchased an uppa baby stroller and car seat from the Raleigh store several weeks ago and due to covid-19, it was sent to the Charlotte location. I was not notified of this (they had my area code written down incorrectly), and I completely understand that, but I could not be more disappointed in how the business is handling this. The manager, Mandy, gave me an option to use my promotional gift card to pay 80 dollars for shipping on products I’ve already spent over 1k on to get to the city I ordered for it to come to. The only other option I’ve been given is to “meet on the side of the road in Raleigh” with NO specific date, just “within the next couple of weeks”. She told me there are “more important things in life to worry about, but I am due next month and feel a car seat for my NEWBORN daughter is extremely important, especially considering I already paid for it and was not contacted in regards to it being sent to a completely different city. She then proceeded to tell me she would “talk to me later” with absolutely NO resolution. I asked that she not contact me again and to put me in touch with whoever is above her, as she has been completely incompetent and unhelpful.She told me that the rest of her customers were “bending over backwards to be understanding of the situation”, which also really made me upset because it is NEVER good customer service to expect that from your customers. I assume she is still getting paid to do her job, and right now my stroller and car seat are just sitting at her store and she has made NO acceptable effort to get them to me. If I could rate the store 0 stars as of now, I would.If the owner contacts me and comes up with a reasonable and appropriate solution, I will be happy to update this review. As it stands, being told “ma’am do you understand there is a pandemic?” Is not an appropriate or professional response to a concerned first time mother who wants the items she paid for SEVERAL weeks ago with an agreement it would be in RALEIGH.
I adore this store! & the new one, Carolina Grace, for teens, is also excellent! Every time I walk in, I am greeted instantly with friendliness. & they are always welcome to help if I need something in a different size, color, etc...& if they do not have it, they are very willing to see if they are able to order it. If I bring my youngest daughter in, they are always so sweet to her and allow her to play with the toys they have on the floor while I shop! She loves playing with the kitchen and with the house! Some of the employees will get down with her and play too!Their clothes are amazing! Each brand is soft and holds up incredibly well! & for the money you cannot beat it! They have the most current style in everything from clothes to strollers to car seats, etc.. It is a store that has everything you need and now from ages to newborn to 14!! Check it out, you wont regret your visit!!
I have been into this store on three separate occasions. Every. Single. Time. I have noted how many people they have working, yet NONE of them reached out to me as I perused their clothing. NONE of them offered assistance. None of them were warm or thankful of my visit to their small business. How very disappointing, especially considering how much money I paid for a custom recliner and multiple outfits+toys.
I used to love coming here for cute specialty and quirky baby items... I can’t say that the customer service before was outstanding but I was at least acknowledged. Today I popped by for a new double stroller and portable high chair, 4 ladies working and not one greeted me or asked if I needed help for the 10 min that I chose to stay there, not so much as a smile. Although I made eye contact multiple times with the ladies. I like to try shopping local but you can buy all of this stuff online, for less, without the snobbyness.
Great experience. I went in to see if they carried Squiggles brand. A worker went and looked it up for me and was very helpful. They have tons of clothing but also cute little accessories and toys. One of the workers helped me carry things to my car. Great store and staff.
I am a grandmother and wanted to thank Shower Me With Love for bending over backwards for helping find the perfect gift for my grand nieces birthday. The staff is happy and caring and the experience was wonderful. Beautiful store,complimentary gift wrap was a nice surpriseand I look forward to shopping there next time I visit Charlotte!
Shower Me With Love is awesome! I was shopping for a christening outfit, hat and other goodies. Michaela, Mandy and Julie all went above and beyond to help me get things in time from the vendor and everything was perfect! Thanks yall, this is the only baby store where I will shop!
Was just in there with my 2 year old and newborn. Never once did one of the 3 ladies ask me if I needed help or if I was looking for something in particular. I asked about one item if they had it in the other gender and she said she didnt know. I would have bought it if they were helpful. So needless to say I did not buy anything and will just order that product online now.
They have many specialty items that you cant find anywhere else. Highly recommend this place.
Have gone here for years for shower gifts, coming home outfits for all of my nieces and nephews, and shopping for my own baby. I went there today for something specific and the staff could not have been more unfriendly and, for lack of a better word, snobby. I felt very unwelcomed and like I was a bother to them. Very disappointed in my visit today...so much that I felt the need to write a review. Sadly, it made such an impact that it will not be my go to place anymore.
Came in the store in search for my baby boy a christening outfit,I wasn’t acknowledged until maybe 15 minuets after being in the store. I think the employees could definitely use a little assistance in the greeting/customer service department.

Oh lets see, where to start... My husband and I came here about a year ago while I was pregnant to buy some clothes and accessories for our baby girl. While we were in we liked the merchandise as it was a higher quality than Macys or Dillards but the service wasnt that great or friendly. I signed up for their emails while I was there purchasing some stuff and recently received one saying 50%-70% off sale. Since I live out of town I called and spoke to a girl named Ryane. I explained what I was interested in and that I wanted to purchase some items over the phone. She snapped back immediately saying the sale was for local customers only. Good to know that your customer service is only to local clients. So I got of their Facebook page and wrote a review and the person from the store who replied to my review was very rude and put a picture up around the time I called blaming their poor customer service on the fact that they were busy. Interesting because the sale wasnt even at their store. Plus, in my opinion, (since after all, thats what a review is) you would think someone in charge of a business wouldnt argue with a customer about the experience in their store.Long story short, I would save your money and go somewhere else to buy your baby goods. Look at all these other reviews... Clearly the store is doing something wrong!
I have had good experiences at this store. Makayla (Im sure I spelled this wrong) is very helpful and on top of it, even though I know she is very busy. They have very cute stuff, both clothes and furniture.

I went in the store to look for a christening gown. Their selection was better than anyone else’s and someone did assist me, but my issue was the fact that the item I liked was “mistagged.” The item was a gown bonnet set and the price tag said 180 for a 4pc set. I was confused because there only alpeared to be two pieces. When I pointed this out, they checked it out and the item was actually 105 not 180. That is a huge price difference and really sketchy. I didn’t note if others of the same item were marked incorrectly too.

My wife and I were so excited to come to your store today to try on different baby wraps and purchase a perch high chair. The homophobic response we encountered was just heartbreaking. Listening to your employees snicker behind our backs made us both nauseous. We left without purchasing one item. Extremely disappointed and saddened.
Came in with my two expecting daughters. Never once greeted or even aknowledged. I had to step out of the way so an employee could walk by. We had every intention on purchasing 3 cribs - 4 car seats - 3 uppa baby strollers and 2 rocking chairs - needless, to say we walked out after 15-20 min of waiting to be aknowledged - highly disappointed- I am small business owner myself, & I understand the importance of customers. Unfortnately, those 3 employees today, did not.
